I decided to share my re-discovered Snap-on Ratcheting Screwdriver. I received it as a gift some 15 years ago and have not used it much as I moved 3 times and lost track of it. I was moving some boxes and here it was in it's box BUT, it was kind of locked up and hard to ratchet. I found on the forum how to take it apart and re-lubed it. WOW!! it's back to as new again. By the way it does have a gasket between the cap and body.

Picked up some goodies from my local Eppy's Tools. That place is addictive, as is this website.

100% USA Made Jack stands from US Jack. Picked them after learning Hein Werner was no longer USA made but "made in the USA with global components".

Never seen that Carlyle set before. How much was it?
The set was on sale for $39. Haven't used it yet. Carlyle is Nampas replacement for thier everlast brand. There are several threads here. There is a YT vid of a guy torture testing the 3/8 Carlyle with Snapon and various other ratchets. I wont tell you how it ends, but Im a Carlyle fan now.
[emoji12]
Im not a pro wrencher, so this Carlyle set may last tve rest of my life. I will gather more Carlyle tools and give an honest reviewe. For the diy guy, these appear to be very well made. [emoji41] .

Bielio,

Dennis Schmidt is a GJ member who has an eBay store where he sells Toptul hand tools and AirPro impact air ratchets here: LINK.

Dave

dnschmidt is his username here. You are probably better off sending a PM to him as he just received a shipment, and his ebay listings don't even cover 1/20th of the items he has available.

Those look nice, but they are $100 APIECE!!!!

No, they're sold as a pair. They're rated at 6 tons per jack (instead of per pair). I got a 15% father's day discount, and it cost me 150 dollars with shipping for them.

Nice, but how much heavy impacting are you really going to be doing on an 8mm nut?

Not much. I have a 1/4" chrome set that I use with a t-handle a lot so I wanted a 3/8" set to use with my cordless impact. And thanks to you guys I have an addiction so if I might need it once then why not have it?

Obviously, I can't answer that question, but he emailed me a .pdf with a list of what he has currently along with their respective prices.

Dennis isn't doing this to make money. In fact, he even said you can't make money selling Toptul in the USA as apparently they just don't care about the USA market. He is just doing it because he likes Toptul(as does seemingly everyone who tries it), and since you have a minimum quantity of each item you can order he gets extras of the tools he wants or the tools people ask/prepay him to order. Then sells the rest to pretty much break even. He's basically just trying to help out the community, and I for one thank him for that.

Can you share the list?

Sold my Mac flex ratchet and my Matco screwdrivers and bought these. Also upgraded my meter to a fluke.

Received my other Package from Jens today.

Firm yet very comfortable :D

The grips aren't "squishy" like some other brands, they do seem like the type of rubber that when dirty, a little scrub would get them clean. black = soft; blue=hard plastic

Those Hazet screwdrivers are gorgeous. I wanted to buy a set from Jens but shipping just kills it. Maybe if I get around to doing a bigger purchase.

Wish they had flat pads on the bottom of the legs so I could use them on my racedeck floor.

Surefire is pricey but quality, I use to have a Surefire E1L outdoorsman and it is topnotch in comparison to my now Fenix LD09

Was that in stock at your local store? I googled it and it looks like an old Christmas promo. I'd like to pick one up at that price .
It was the only one on display, at the Clovis Nm Napa. It did look like it was sitting around awhile.

that could be why i never seen that before.
I do have to admit like most here, it was an inpulse buy. I saw it, grabbed it with the gloves/hammer, and checked out. Didn't even know how much they were. Had no clue the ratchets were so pricey normally. They must have been left over from the 50% store sale I missed. I heard they had free beer, food, and gave away a ton of free tools. [emoji33]

I guess it's safe to say when I get back from San Antonio, I will see what else I can find. I'm not sure if its a franchise or corp store. They built this cool lil tool room into the back of the store. Mosty catering to the Pros. They have a good selection of gear wrench too. The guy ringing me up said they have a small warehouse somewhere in town with nothing but Pro top shelf stuff. Im guessing everything but Snappy. I shall see

Losts of air tools IR , Homak box's, and even some radio shack stuff. Im guessing they bought a **** load of RS stuff when most of the corp stores folded. If I remeber I will take some pics of this mysterious "Magic" room. [emoji41]
