I have been buying a lot of Tekton off Amazon over the last year, excellent quality, nice chrome finish, great deal for the money.

New additions to the growing Nepros collection. T72 in there for size comparison.

I saw those in Tokyo. They were in velvet-lined boxes like fine jewelry. More expensive than Snap On.

Went to a flea market where I'd found some deals on SK and SnapOp a few years ago.

In a table-sized bin of sockets, I found two SKs, also got a small SK wrench. I also got a Napa Evercraft metric flare crowfoot set for $10

Got these for $60 total. Barely used Makita sawzall and a Craftsman pressure washer. The Honda engine on it runs perfectly and looks new, but one of the O-rings in the water pump is leaking. I am not sure it's worth rebuilding the pump. I will probably just remove the engine and put it to use somewhere else or make a generator out of it. Shaft might be too small for lawnmower duty.

New to me tools. Another aircraft mechanic was selling off some wrenches (retirement) and I snagged the flare nut set (MAC Tools) for $50. I asked him if he was willing to trade the angle wrenches (also MAC Tools) for a telescope, he agreed. He threw in the 1/2" drive socket set for free.

Franks sales help soften the blow. Issue is there aren't many high quality QR ratchets and even fewer with handles I like. My Snap-Ons are almost exclusively comfort grip because I find their metal handles are too thin.

I need to get my paws on some Nepros. I picked up a Wera 1/4" metal ratchet last week that's very thin handled too, the ratchet action is good though. If you want good handles, I still have yet to find anything better than the Betas, but the ratchet action isn't as nice.

Snap-On seemingly underpriced their ratchets, and rapes you on the sockets.

Grabbed a 2235qtimax on sale at kms tools. Was torn between this and the Mac AWP050. I really liked the balance and feel of the Mac gun, but the ir just seams like a bullet proof gun from all the reviews I have seen online, and the forward/reverse selection as well as the power settings are a lot more user friendly than the Mac gun. We'll see how it does. I have high hopes!

Never been one to like the use of a boot on a gun, but might have to pick one up for this one. The rear composite area of the body seams like it could use a little protection. Anyone use one of these long term with no boot?

Grabbed a magnetic bar for simple storage for my box, and a cheap led voltage display test light for my emergency truck tool box.

My recent haul: 4 gas welding tank carts.
3 of them are big, which I plan to repaint and sell. The smaller one, I plan to repaint and keep.

Decided to pick up a set of insulated screwdrivers after I tore most of my tape off the Cman screwdriver I've been using.

Also up for the new purchases is some Flexzilla garden hose. After I tossed an old hose with some semi-permanent kinks, I broke out a new hose I bought onteh cheap. What I never paid attention to was the fact that the new hose was only a 25 footer, which left me a few (like 25') feet short while watering my new Blue Spruce trees.

Also a few other items from Father's Day. Got the big deep Williams impact set from tools delivered and a Williams ratcheting screw driver.

Also pick up a UV light for troubleshooting a potential freon leak.

Have you compared that to the Snap On? How does it feel overall? I need a little gift for my cousin and was thinking of something like that.

Not personally but based on feedback from this board it's the same. The mech is smooth on the Williams very impressed vs the Milwaukee ones I have.

I actually got the idea from the thread about the husky ratcheting screwdriver. Someone mentioned as being the same as the s/o so figured I'd ask for one.

Thanks.

I had already bought one by the time you posted this :headscrat

But it's a gift so I don't feel bad. See above about the whole wallet vs thread concept....

Splurged and bought myself a new pair of saws for my 30th birthday (that was my excuse!). My awesome wife doesn't even question it, she knows I'll use them to renovate and build her things... and end up saving us money in the long run! DWS780 12" sliding miter saw on a DWX726 stand and a DW7491RS table saw. Sorry for the huge pic!

Bought mine used, but they are sold in some swedish webshops, try googling "bahco mutterhållare" (nut-holder in swedish) :) It's very nice to use and fits perfectly on the most wrenches.

Made my first purchase at HJE. Price on the pry bars was the best I had seen on the web. The pliers...well, I'll be honest. Bought them
Because they were yellow.
