I hope so! Putting it to use tomorrow finishing up building an 8 stair staircase. Used an old corded Makita most of the day so it'll be a good transition

With the 5ah batt you should be good all day easy. I have a 3ah and cut osb day long for the garage.

Dont know why the blade is on the left side but i prefer it that way.

Got a few goodies from the truck, a couple are from a few weeks back, just forgot to post. I also bought some Snap On adjustable wrenches, but they were red and I didn't want a picture of them.

Hey Strouty,

Is that a TLLF72 pictured in post#34044?

If it is, I think those flat head screws make the ratchet look like ****

Nice stuff, carry on....

I'll bet that impact set wasn't free.
Half of it was. Just under $700.

Yeah, but I beat that little beast the other day and it didn't break! Had to remove a starter, 9/16" socket with 6" extension and a lot of force. I was pleasantly surprised. I can't wait to get the 3/8" drive kit, then I can have a nice one for tight spots too.

Hmm, thats a good idea. Looks like I may just have to buy a secondary TLLF72 and TLL72 and do the 3/8's swap too

It was a b*tch to move but I got this lil' guy today

I actually know it quite well, having stood in front of it for probably 6 hours a week for a decade. It was sold off years ago and I happened upon it on CL and recognized the inventory control stickers still on it.

And btw, you guys always get good deals. My Snap On guy never has BOGO deals, and never has flyers. Rarely has any sales of any type. Come to think of it, the guy is a ****. I only buy socks from him, cash.

My Cornwell guy is ignorant "Cornwell is the ONLY company that makes their hardline in the USA" What about Snap On, what about Mac, What about SK...... "Oh no, they use foreign factories". I slapped an SK catalog that clearly states they are ENTIRELY made in the USA, on his keyboard.

My Mac guy always has a flyer running, is a nice guy, and will work with you. He lets me sub out items on BOGO deals sometimes, and gives me some discounts here and there.

We dont have a Matco guy because he stole from our company, so the cops were called on him and he wasnt allowed back on the property.

So, i only keep an account running on the Mac truck.

Rant over.

Two years ago I got a BOGO deal on 1/2" drive impacts, this set was an expanded version so I am keeping the deep sockets 20 through 24, but I all ready have all the other 1/2" drive sockets and extensions. I figure I will recoup some of my money and still get a deal on the 3/8" drive sets and extensions. I am also waiting for the SAE version, apparently they are offering the set in both SAE and Metric, 6 and 12 point.

Ditchdigger,

Thanks for the laugh.

What doyou think? Say, 1 ton? The press weighs in at 2000 lbs.

Maybe you should eat a bowl of Wheaties the morning after moving that around.

Five bucks.

YOU ****!

That sounds like a good deal....

But was it worth $25.97 originally?

Many people fall for 'look how much I saved'
(Not saying you would, ducksface, 'cos I know you're too shrewd)

Did it come with batteries?

Ducksface,I was pondering your situation re orientation of images posted....
Assuming you're holding the phone? upright and the image are being rotated 90* anticlockwise, could you simply rotate your phone 90* clockwise before taking the shot and then it'd would be the right way up when posted?

Al.

I bought this Multimeter for 20 on sale at Amazon. Its a pretty good Multimeter for the price. No fluke but a million times better than the Harbor Freight Special.

I would love to pick up that set but my OCD tells me no. I can't do a mix of 6 and 12 points.

The seller has partial sets of 6 point wrenches with no 5/8 or 11/16 for $32.I looked around for individual 6 point wrenches in those sizes with no luck.I decided to get the full set and am glad I did.Best Deal of the year so far!

Lucked into a warm deal at my favorite pawn shop today. I had been wanting a Porter Cable sheet or random orbit sander. Also, I needed a staple gun, because mine disappeared years ago. I got both, a PC333 and an Arrow T-50, along with some (5) medium duty pulleys I wanted for $20.bf15f6d78dbe9f4fef0dc24cbba25c0c.jpg

I'm pretty pleased.
