I have this very exact set. Fantastic ratchets to say the least, Esp the 120xp 1/4 inch. Everybody at my shop is always trying to barrow it. They all have Snap on and Matco versions. It was worth every penny honestly!

I actually find 6" too small and prefer my 8". But I have had a few situations trying to inspect a part where some smaller calipers would be handy.

Got my 3/8 IR impact in, and realized I have no 3/8 impact sockets. So with my other new acquisition of Tekton, I decided to give them a try.
After reading on my wrenches I'm uspporting a local company, I'll be trying several of their products:
The shorts:
The longs:
Wish #1, the size markings were engraved, as amazon reviews mentioned, the size markings can wear off. At least the sizes are marked on the case.
Down the "barrel" of the long:
Wish #2, that the boxes were a 2 piece (could remove one half for a tool chest drawer):
Short is a nice tight fit on the IR:
As is the deep:
For less then $50 for all these sockets, backed by a lifetime warranty, with fantastic customer service, seems to be a great option for homeowner use.

Quite the spendy day for me tool wise. Picked up the Makita Metal Cutting Chop Saw for $30; has 3 new blades with it, a NOS Milwaukee 5" random orbit from a local hardware store for $50, a used 3/4" Ingersoll Rand Impact for $135, and a Lenox MetalMax diamond edged metal cutting blade. I'll try it out soon and report back.

Those are the ones to use on your spray guns for painting. Much easier to get gun set up without a bottleneck in the pressure line.
Needed a new air line end at work, and though I would give these a go. Didn't realize how pricey couplers had gotten. Almost $14 at Princess Auto for the female, and $11 for the male ends.
The comparison photo is a A style end. Hoping this makes the impact hit a little harder!

Latest ebay purchase. MHH (England) Torque Meter, 0 to 60 ft-lb. Somebody bid me up to my max bid of $20.01. The lady was in the next town over, so I went and picked it up. It has a calibration date of 1977, but other than some paint chips and nicks which appear to be from storage it seems hardly used. I compared it against my clicker wrench, and it was dead on. So, if they're both out of whack, it's by the same amount.
The instructions (available online) state that they're not calibrated for the first 20% of scale, so it's a 12 to 60 ft-lb torque wrench, a very usable range.
Turns out they still sell these under the Torqueleader brand by Gedore. They can be re-calibrated. I found the same unit (BCS 80) online for 487 Euro/$535 ex VAT.
I'm going to enjoy using this.
Oh, and that Nano of the previous poster Revelations is also awesome.

Are those the thin jaw grip ins? If so they are a lifesaver. So is the ratchet. Some of the best investments I've made.

Pulled a transmission last week, and finally had enough with losing sockets up on top of the bell housing.
Picked this up yesterday. 1/2" drive female, locking 3/8" male. About 32" long.
It is bluepoint, not snap on. Anyone know if that affects the warranty at all?

Yeah, they're the lp5slim. The finish on the jaws leaves a lot to be desired but a few minutes with a file should fix them. I bought the 3/8" ratchet last week and after comparing it against my Milwaukee M12 ratchet I bought the 1/4" this week.

BOGO deal popped up and my old gun is...well....OLD....so I got a new one.
Sitting at work in the trailer having break and in rolls a snap on truck on a construction site. So i went in and got a catalog and 5 mins later walked in and bought my first snap on tool FH80 soft grip 3/8 ratchet
