Won a raffle off of the Snap on truck. I love Legos, I love snap on, I don't think I could be any happier!

LEGO and Snap On are pretty much my favorite things besides my wife and girls. That sir just acquired the top spot on my wish list.

Recently got two tools that I'm really excited about. At a booth at the fair today they had Excelta mini flush cutters for $15. They are normally in the eighty dollar range! 0824bac7498202672f6691dd54712a7b.jpg

Also, yesterday my neighbor gave me a brand new Time Shaver Preppin' Weapon sanding block when I was admiring his. 9975a35fcbdacebdc199f9704b48162d.jpg
I can't wait for my next sanding project now.

My SO man has had one of those sets on his dash for about a month. He has not offered it as a raffle item and just gives the price to anyone who asks -- $150 :shocking:

You practically stole them. :shocking:

If you're patient, you can find them on eBay for similar prices, shipped. Which is how I've managed my collection.

BTW, that pair was actually made by Tronex.

That makes sense. They looked just like Tronex and they USA, not Swiss COO. I was confused by that at first.

You could just about have knocked me over with a feather. I never see quality tools at these things. The booth had mostly junk from China and Pakistan, but it also randomly had tweezers from Erem, Rubis, Excelta, etc and these.

My snap on dealer had his annual warehouse sale this weekend. These followed me home this year. I'm not a professional so I'll pick up a few things and pay my acct off then meet up with him when he's in town for more.

Ridgid E-110, and Klein 8" Diagonal & 8" Long Nose, without the stupid wire stripper in the middle of the cutter! c22cffd76ae5a3616e5005b8ffa758c2.jpg

You must not use yours for electrical work, I love the stripper.

I thought those tri-lobed handles were sort of famous for ths problem...hence why they are so rare...plastic degrades for some reason. newer ones seem to last forever, must have reformulated the plastic.

Same thing happened with 1980 vintage square handles. I used to know a friendly Snap-on dealer who swapped out screwdrivers for me rather than re-handle them all. They should be covered by warranty.

I just picked up Snap-on's RTD48 Rethreading Kit and CJ2001P Bolt Grip Puller Set. Looking to get the tap and die set and extractor set next.

Looks like Matco is back in the business of selling ratchets again. After months of back order I just received my 1/4" locking flex ratchet.

Went to Rockler for my birthday shopping.

Picked up a couple additional clamp-it squares, a couple of the new corner clamping jigs, two strips of t-track to make a clamping table, and a set of their new offset router collet wrenches.

Other than the collet wrenches, everything was on sale. I like Rockler but I don't like paying full price.

I like that. Wonder if it is Snap-On pricing or Lego pricing if you wanted to buy one.
