New to me Snap on SPBS18 strikethrough prybar. This was the second one purchased on ebay after the first seller (Honesdale PA) flaked out and wouldn't ship. PayPal refunded the dough.

$20. It just needed 30 seconds on the grinder to touch up the tip.

Have some updating to do to this thread once the rest of it comes in. Finally got my Hobart 210mvp that I had been waiting for, now time to buy an AC/DC stick welder.
Still waiting on a few things from black Friday/Monday to be delivered then I will get a good group shot

I have been wanting a set of flare nut wrenches. I found a set of New Craftsman SAE+Metric on ebay with a "best offer". I offered $25, and they accepted!

Yeah, they're probably chinese, but they have good reviews.

Those would be the imported ones, but I had an SAE set of those that got worked hard in a truck shop, and never once opened up or rounded off any fittings. They'll serve you well.

Sold mine to "upgrade" to a USA set that barely see any use.

Thanks for the experience. I figured for $25 I couldn't go wrong. That's cheaper than Harbor Freight ;)

I think I have the same ones.. if so they've always worked fine for me. They're pretty wide/stiff, I haven't rounded anything off with them either

Just picked these up at the pawn shop. Well used but still smooth ratcheting end. The 12mm is bent so will have to contact snap on to see if they will warranty it. That also had the standard set but I don't have any use if anyone is interested let me know and I can get them and ship them they also had a standard set of nut drivers with hard handle.

Speaks pretty well if that head bent instead of stripping the mechanism.

If they don't warranty it for you, look into the Williams branded version for $11 vs a replacement BP for $26. Same tool, just different name etched into the handle.

Or just stick it in a vise and work it back straight. :D

I've never had a problem with warranty through snap on but you never know. 1 or 2 of the other wrenches have some chrome chipping on the open end but probably won't try to get them warrantyed.

Got the Mayhew 60001 Dominator Carbon Scraper Set today. Pretty decent for the money, but buyer beware, the tips are rough and will need a bit of fine sanding and sharpening before attempting any precision scraping.

Just got this 5-gal, wall mounted setup with remote-control on/off integrated on the nozzle and 20ft hose (20ft cord too). Already mounted and ready to go which took all of 15 mins from opening the box.

Love it so far. I have 3 other vacuums in the garage; a grungy old 5gal shop vac now dedicated to saw-dust duties, a small 1gal Armor-All, a hand-held Eureka with a powered roller brush but I think this will become my go-to vac due to ease and convenience, no more dragging the other ones out of the cabinets, dealing with the cords, short hoses etc. This also has the blower feature though probably not going to be used much if at all due to reverse dust blow-out if the can isn't clean. Much easier to use my cordless leaf-blower. Anyway, not bad for $90 shipped to my door (had $15 in surprise points).

Ya. I have the real one.Vacmaster 5 HP, Blue---2 year warranty. Use it every single day for about 5 years now. Never a problem.
Better to buy direct than continue life support for the failed entity Sears-Noebuck

Oh, damn. This is a dangerous thread for me to discover.

This thing is pretty awesome. Just finished building a welding table made of 2x2x1/2" tube and 2x3x3/8" angle. All cuts were perfect. Only downside is it's not super fast. It also can only do 4 3/4" wide stuff.

I also found this at a pawn shop cheap. Millermatic 211.

Said table (which is, strictly speaking, a new tool arrival). Top should be finished this weekend...

I hear you but I have a soft spot for Craftsman tools despite the Sears troubles. Afterall my first real tools were and still are Craftsman (most about 20-yrs old).

Picked up a few things the past couple days. A Milwaukee impact to replace one that walked off, with boot. A stick light, and a charger.

and got this Proto 3/4" drive socket set with drive tools and case for $300 from a coworker..... He barely even touched any of the sockets.

After my last Craftsman purchase that I picked up about 2 weeks ago...I've lost my soft spot for Craftsman. It was junk. Cheap, sure....but junk.

A t-handle and soft grip stubby:
