Tomorrow is the last day for the $179.00 3.5 ton floor jacks at my local Napa Pro Shop. I'm really tempted!

You should look into getting a Daytona 3 ton floor jack. They are like 85 dollars shipped on eBay right now. I use a NAPA 3.5 ton jack at work and they are pretty much the same.

Dewalt claims 1100 ft lbs in reverse on the highest setting. 700 ft lbs foward on the highest setting. Was just watching Real Tool Reviews where he verified the claim. Id say its a tie with Milwaukee's version.

You're gonna love that impact. Finally got mine out and tried it out on my wife's lug nuts. Only a couple of impacts at mid torque to break them loose, and setting 3 is instantaneous. The setting 1 torques close to 80ft pounds which is where I torque them.

Have you used the wrenches yet? I like the canvas roll. Would make a nice trunk set.

If those are the Taiwan made Tekton full polished wrenches that they market as being a little longer, those are some sweet wrenches for the money.

I haven't had a chance to use them yet. But they feel really nice. And I love the roll. I keep most of my tools in my trunk as I do a lot of mobile repairs so it was perfect.

Bought the M18 fuel 1/2 inch compact impact wrench from HD and got the free XC 5Ah battery with it....then decided what the hell and bought its big brother and scored another free XC 5Ah battery. I now have 8 XC 5Ah batteries to go along with two 2Ah compact ones.....Merry Christmas to me I guess

Dodge, those hose clamp pliers are awesome. Built like a tank, and very useful to spin off hoses when there is no clearance to slide them back, and screwdrivers always ****. You will use them a lot. Gas lines, etc

I have the same one. It looked like a toy, but cuts through 2x4's like butter. A 5ah will cut a **** load of wood. Get some quality blades, and you'll be set. I use the Bosch brand at HD.

New set of picks for work and a code reader for working on my cars at home.

Is that the CP9690? I bought the 9690 last year and I love it. I usually pair it up with a bluedriver Bluetooth scan tool if it's not picking up what I want, so between the two I'm usually covered. What do you think so far if you've used it?

It's the 9680 model, I like it for what it is, complete code definitions and more info than my Bluetooth tool gives me. Much faster and more capable on early 2000's up domestics (GM) than imports, will talk to all of the on board computers instead of just the engine. I need to eventually buy a bi-directional scanner like a MaxiSys but I already bought a $1K scanner this year for heavy trucks/equipment so I'm going to wait a couple months

The only thing I have found so far that my bluedriver does over the actron is in a Ford. I had codes for the parking system (reverse audible sensors) and the bluedriver picked up the special ford codes that the actron didn't.

We had Christmas at Mom's the other night and draw numbers and do some Christmas present robbing or whatever you call it. This is what I ended up with.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well those hex shanked Milwaukee drill bits have held up. I only have a few smaller sizes that came with the shockwave bit set, but I've used them extensively in thin aluminum, plastic, and wood, no troubles, still sharp.

I took a couple more pics of the mini pliers wrench. These things are really neat. I also have a 10". I think the normal price for the 5" is silly, as they are only a few bucks cheaper than the 10". What is neat about the 5" is the jaws measure .138" thick, or roughly 3.5mm. Also, the rated capacity is 7/8" but max opening measures at .935".

Compared to a 4" adjustable, of which I own a few. Capacity ranges from .55"-.7". Narrowest jaws of the bunch measure .17" but only at the tip, largest right at 1/4".
