I don't own this kit but I would make i small change. That single blue guide (right hand is holding it in the photo), needs to extend beyond the perpendicular aluminum. Why? Because it will help/assist you start the cut straighter. Otherwise I think it is a good rip fence/guide.

Wow, your mom gave you a ******* swimsuit calendar? All my mom ever got me was socks and underwear :dunno: So not fair.

Actually, in the robbers gift exchange, the drill bits were something my step-dad had picked out for the gift exchange. I let my granddaughter pick out what gift I should take from the pile. Ironically, the gift I put in the pile, my step-dad got.

Honestly, yes, Mom picked the calendar up for me. I usually get a calendar for the garage at Christmas time.

And you didnt bother to share the calendar with us..... how dare you!!! Lol

I just wanted to see if one of you guys would pick up on it. I had faith somebody here would.

I took back a Milwakee Shockwave bit set my brother got me for Xmas that had a lot of stuff I already had and paid the cost difference to try out this Cobalt drill bit set. I'm hoping the 1st time I use these I'll find myself wondering how I ever got by with anything else.

Anyone have experience with Milwaukee Cobalt bits? Do they drill through stuff like its butter compared to black oxide or titanium bits?3e86b9f3c8bee1f6aafac5956ee754bd.jpg

I used those to drill out a Snap On thread chaser that had gotten snapped off inside a car frame.

New Stuff! Very simple things that are specific to work. They seem to be decent quality enough for what I do at work:
Kobalt ratcheting wrenches. Just a little $9.99 set but it has the three sizes I need the most. Next is a set of deep wall HF SAE sockets. Just something to keep in the truck. And finally Irwin Iron Worker's Pliers. I'm impressed with them. Pretty rugged for a $13 sale item. I've been pretty impressed with all my Irwing buys lately.

They are okay. We use the Norseman bits from Fastenal on a bid spec price at work and those are pretty solid. Seem to be on par.

I have an air powered die grinder and an air powered 4.5" angle grinder, but I wanted to have an electric angle grinder too. Got this on sale yesterday.

34e68d9a2ba9cd06106df2f46f889e3d.jpgI got my first snap on tool today. A Gs936 1/2 ratchet I got off eBay. Pretty impressed. Just had a good feel to it. Definitely well made.
