Forgot I had ordered the SK t-handle (more kidney handle 45...) From eBay, but I quite like the feel of it. Made in France, strangely enough.

ISTR SK was rebadging Facom stuff at one point—i think maybe Facom owned the previous incarnation of SK for a while?

Picked up this little beauty on eBay—US made, up to 20k RPM, with a micrometer depth stop and an Albrecht chuck.

Also picked up some small snap ring pliers so I could adjust the coarse depth indicator knob.

FJ3000 from Costco. $160 Canadian, delivered. Couldn't find anything even close for the price in a semi-aluminium build. Hopefully it stands up. And if it doesn't, it's Costco :)

I have that exact jack. I love it, time will tell how it holds up, but so far it has been great.

Was there a good deal on those? They look handy.. Are the bits replaceable?
Cheers

I'm guessing your talking about the flex key sets, there are no bits, you would have to replace all the way to the flex joint, so no.
the item numbers are
111920787401
112255477706

He accepts offers on the torx ones but not the hex so I just made him an offer on the torx and told him I was buying the hex set also and will pay for both at the same time so he can save on shipping

Traded in my old Cornwell air hammer for this bad boy. Gave me 100$ trade in for the old one which was great, brought it down to 335 then threw in the protective boot, a set of bits that come with the Bogo deal and a black snapon hoodie which will all be here next week. My dealer is awesome !

That DP looks killer. I've always wanted a quality unit like that but have never seen one, only heard about them. How well does it work?. Thanks.

Made a stop at Advanced Auto Parts today to dump some used oil and picked these up.

The Lisle plastic fastener remover will be helpful for my buddies Subaru.

I'll tell y'all what. That little Stanley 10-049 is really handy around the shop. I got it off Amazon. I don't recall the price but it sure has been a good buy.

My old man came into town to visit and gave me this as a belated Christmas gift. Couldn't be happier!

Stoked to further fuel my Snap-on orange hard handle addiction with this brand new FHLFD80. I happened upon the Ebay listing only an hour or two after it was posted. $107 BIN w/ free shipping vs. $159.95 on the truck.f9568af12e97a6005181a4b78f28bd6f.jpg......and it's right at home with the rest of my 3/8 collection (which I feel is now complete) b22cf85756e86f8da9a788fe94d7c9d3.jpg

Saw these on the clearance table for eight bucks. No, I don't need them but this is Garage Journal so I felt obligated. :D

Found a Miller 375 Plasma on Craig's 36 min after initial posting... Had it in my truck 1 hr later.
It is too clean to have been used for more than once. still had twist ties and tags on cables. Trying not to support import products, says made in US F'n A.

how you liking the drawer guards? worth it? good fit?
i know im getting a few chips and dings on mine, they didnt make the carbon fiber ones for my 68 when i wanted to order them a while ago.

I like 'em. It's nice to cover up the dings that a few drawers had gotten in 3 plus years of daily use for the main box and dress everything up overall. I was concerned the shiny mirror polished , compared to brushed finish, would be too much, too bright. But now that they are on, I'm happy with it for sure.

Try vinyl wrapping. It's not as study as those guards but look good 2f15feecefccad39c68f071bcf54e5c4.jpg

Can I ask how vinyl wrapping works? Is it a stick on / then heat it up process? I have contemplated plasti-dipping my tool box drawer trims, but I think that would look cheap. The top piece of my drawer trim will slide off, but the raise and pull latch portion is riveted on. Can I vinyl trim without removing the trim?

Sorry for all the elementary questions. Just figure since you've done it you'll know better! Off to google I go...

Yeah it's works like a sticker. And I didn't use a heat gun for this mod. It's pretty cheap I'd say I paid less than 10 dollars on eBay for a 2'x6' I believe. I was going to dip mine also but I know after awhile it would start to peel so I went this route. The main reason I did it was because I had an older box where I had all my heavy sockets on the top drawer and the bottom of that drawer started to rub and scratch the drawer below it. So I figured what the hell. It seems to hold up well and looks good

Sold my Crapsman nicad 1/2 impact and used a Home Depot Birthday gift card to get this new Makita 1/2 Brushless LXT impact. It took lug nuts off a wheel that hadn't been removed in a year. Pretty impressive power for how small the body is.
