today was "one of those days"
wife was in the hospital with pneumonia, step daughter has been sick, so between the 2 of them, dealing with Blitz, (75lb GSD "puppy") and trying to work, it's been a long couple weeks.
this morning was the 1st time in a week the wife had been outside the house since she got home, i ran her around to a couple places just to walk around. when we got back, i decided to go putz around for a while.

i had given my stepson a few tools, and a toolbox from my garage, so i went looking for some replacements....

didnt really replace anything, just added a couple things for both the garage and service truck...

Just received them in the mail.
Have one question. Do Hazet tools not have Made In Germany stamped on them?

$40 local garage sale find, missing 11mm. Metric reversible, SAE not... Never had any spline wrenches before. These are all Proto ASD, seem nice.

My driver offered me the 3050 with 6 gold bits, mg725 with 1/2 swivels. And then a vantage for 995. $1500 total with trading in my 2135 and cornwell air hammer

I'm having a really hard time with this

I would take a 2235 over a mg725. The 3050 is an awesome air hammer, and the impact swivels are a must have!

Finally got my new tig machine a couple weeks ago. Ordered it in December through our Lincoln rep at work. Lincoln Tig 200 Squarewave. $1399 plus a $140 rebate. Same guy sold me the 300 cf argon bottle for $295, and said he will fill for free as many times a year as I need. Cart is a harbor freight special, $34.99 with coupon.

Some things I collected over the past couple weeks:

Bahco 143, made in Argentina, got a rounded off rusted o2 sensor out no problem.

The remote torch for the map gas is well worth it in my opinion, also helped in removal of the seized o2 sensor.

A co-worker found these in his locker and gave them to me:

Some random stuff I've been wanting, the hatchet was an anniversary gift from the misses.

Had a Sears gift certificate and some points that were going to expire so I decided to complete my Craftsman pliers set. I have the 6 inch bent needle nose on order

Been using them at work quite a bit and they are great, no problems and they all fit to their sizes very well, no rounding off or trying to jump off while being used, I recommend them, I'll be getting the rest of the sets when I can

Well here is what I decided to hang on to from my once in a lifetime Craigslist haul the other day. Those Hansen trays BTW are compete Snap-on socket sets with the additional sockets added to fill each tray.64bb8b5d1afdd53c16ea90894171acc8.jpg
I sold a few things to other GJ'ers before even posting anything in the classifieds. For anyone interested I did start a for sale thread now with some Snap-on midget wrench sets and some of the other stuff as well as some misc items I've had and been meaning to sale.

We still need some more drawer pics when you get around to it. Still loving that Yellow and Black Epiq though.

URL ?

I just ordered a handful of 3 and 6 can aerosol can holders on amazon but wouldn't mind having one or two that I can put long screwdrivers or small breaker bars. At-least if it's affordable to buy vs. make, the ones on amazon I got were def. not worth material and time!

Latest eBay score. Five Tesa micrometers. Just need a 0-1 and a 4-5.

Finally jumped on the snap on air hammer band wagon. Looked and looked and didn't find anything I felt came close to what snap on offered. Really wanted to try out what IR offered, but couldn't find a good comparison to snap on. Picked up two bits, in the two styles I will use most. The rest I plan on picking up Ajax bits, or something half decent. Boot was free.

New Solus through the shop. Played with it on one car today, seams good. Fast and easy to use.

Rails and extractor set from Amazon, used 4.0 off Kijiji.

Grinding discs, flap wheels, and ROS discs from Lehigh Valley. Looking forward to trying those out, it's because of you guys that I just dropped $100 there!
