Got my first ever pair of Knipex pliers today!

I actually have been underwhelmed with those.

Don't get me wrong, they are quite good and useful, but they really are not my go-to for hose clamps.

It seems to depend on how hard the insulation is on the wire you want to strip. The jaws start to open during the strip, I have this and I think it works better. It is an import though, and the Knipex is made in Germany.

I'm talking about the wire strippers though, not sure how the wife strippers work

These are my newest go-to's... Milwaukee 6-n-1 Combination Pliers (strippers), Sperry VD6505 voltage detector, Sperry HGT6120 gfci outlet tester, and the 3-pc Milwaukee insulated screwdrivers (#2 philips, #1 ecx, 1/4" slotted).




The Milwaukee strippers are going to replace the Knipex Electricians Pliers (strippers)



in my electrical pouch. The Knipex just feel too small and the handle design pushes them deeper into my hand to where the crimper jaws can easily pinch the meat on my pointy finger. I tried to like them but I can't.
