Today I got a great deal on s Stihl MS261C-M, I don't need this nice of a saw as my 30 y/o Homelite Super EZ Automatics serve me well but I took the opportunity to upgrade.

I have the big brother to your MS261 CM, the MS362CM. Great saws. Be sure you break it in on a 10-12" log per the manual.

Whats custom about it?

Looks exactly like the few we have at work... except ours have larger 'offroad' wheels.

Hoop top handle, dual grab handles, stair strips, 2 1/4 cross bars. You can design them on their site or buy standard.

Yeah pearl blue it's called. They are from 1995 and in almost perfect condition.

Not the same. Kabo vs GW so there are some minimal design differences. Latter also uses split pawls to get 120 teeth so the Kabos should be stronger. Plus he didn't give scummy Bain Capital any money. I have little love left for that company after shuttering almost all Apex NA facilities and killing off a 120+ year old tool brand.

I must have missed the story told as to why the orange handle is so important. I would have been perfectly content with the factory installed green handle.

Up to you. Seldom use? Probably not. Use/abuse them all the time? I think so. I will say that Matco is trouble free in dealing with when it comes to getting the wrenches replaced. GW, its either pay $30-$50 to replace a wrench or risk dealing with a Fastenal.

Yes. The THD72-12 handles are available in orange, red, green, black, pink and blue and fit any 1/4" ratchet that came originally with a hard handle.

You can also order FHD80-12 in many colors for 3/8 ratchets.

As far as the orange goes, I kind of have a thing for SO orange hard handled tools. I have several orange handled ratchets but this is my first "roto" ratchet.

Snagged these two Milwaukee Hand Trucks for 100$ from a local auction. One of them is missing a caster, so I'll be contacting Milwaukee to see how much a replacement will be. I didn't see anything wrong with the other one while messing with it briefly earlier.

They seem pretty nice though! I wish I had one when I got that steel storage cabinet the other day. Would have made things go a lot smoother.

Those aren't painted, they're plastic injected that way.

I know what you meant. I like to make fun of the way these young kids talk. In my generation, if something was real good, it was "rad" - as in radical.
