I have tried every Napa around me. Not one has them in stock. I am on the road in a 150 mile radius so I don't know where I will be so I never order them. I could have them shipped home I guess. But I'm more of a impulse I have to touch it first to make sure I like it knd of tool buyer. Talking about the crimp tool.

Just got my first Snap On tool, 3/8 FRH80 quick release ratchet comfort grip! Really looking forward to using it. I must be used to cheap ratchets, this one has some weight to it, nice and solid!

You can reserve online and pick up at store of your choosing. No payment required for the reservation. You can pay at the store once the tool meets your expectations.

Welcome to the slippery slope. You will likely wonder why you didn't buy one sooner.

Picked up the micro cordless drill from my Snap-On dealer today. I've been so pleased with the 14.4 micro 3/8" ratchet and impact that I thought I would get the matching 3/8" drill.

I already have a couple of chargers and a couple spare batteries so I didn't buy the entire kit, just drill and single battery.

Every year the wife's family has a garage sale of epic proportions and I got first dibs before the big day. Picked up 6 axle nut sockets, 2 18" pipe wrenches, a 24" pipe wrench, and a 6 ton bottle jack in original plastic carrying case. Was told to "just take it" but I donated $20 to the cause.

Which handle do you like better; the Snap-on or the Trusty-Cook?

well I've been a fan on the snap on hammers for years.. that 32oz is a new replacement after I broke the composite handle once. the grip is more "squishy" on the snap on.

The trusty cook is firmer, but has texturing to hold it. i used the 43oz a lot tonight fabbing up some steel parts. I like it a lot. no hand ringers yet like some other composite handles I've used. for the price I like the TC. considering a 40oz snappy is about 160 bucks or so.....

Ummm.......I want one. I like yellow and I own a Mazda. I thought I had seen them all.

Warmpancakes sure is good to you!

I keep thinking I've seen them all but I'm always wrong. This is the only one like this I've ever come across so I'm not sure how many would be out there. Snap on has done special orders for a lot of companies over the years.

Yessir, he is! He's a great and generous person and wise beyond his years.

A few Snap-on pliers since I realized I don't really have any (mine are almost all Channellock, Knipex, Klein, Facom), Mitutoyo telescoping gauges for an upcoming project, a Snap-on pin vise because they're handy occasionally, and a Dynafile contact arm.

How is the pin vise used?

I use them to hold very small drill bits if I need to clean a burr out of a really small hole. Snap-on sells it as part of an electrical connectors tool set, the idea is that you can hold a small pin and use it to release terminal pins.

Stahlwille 20/8. I can't wait to use them. They feel really nice in my hands and won't hurt when applying a lot of torque.fb1fbd273fa3e15eb910fbbfb57e4271.jpg

Pliers are from all newer Bmw tool kits in the trunk

You actually can get the whole heyco BMW kit at a junkyard if you are lucky enough

I agree, based on price. I have a 24oz Snap On, and a 47oz Trusty Cook. I find the snap on handle to be a little more comfortable, but not worth 3 times the price. Both handles grip equally well when lubed up, unlike my Estwing ball peins. I've almost thrown my Estwings a few times, even when only wet with water. Those got demoted to home use hammers.

When you take price into consideration, Trusty Cook hammers are way better than Snap On.

The Amazon people surprised the hell out of me today delivering on Labor Day.
I got the 14 piece Astro Pneumatic 3/8 drive Nano metric stubby impact socket set. These are pretty nice. They measure .88 of an inch or 22.5 mm overall making them 35% shorter than most regular impact sockets. Each socket has a 17 mm hex on the base of the socket which makes it pretty good for finger spinning or using it with any 17 mm wrench in tight quarters. Sockets come with only gold etched size markings and feature off corner engagement. Nice aluminum rail, sizes run consecutively 6 mm to 19 mm.
Pictured below is the set, a 13 mm Nano socket compared to a Matco 13 mm, and the 13 mm used with a 17 mm ratcheting wrench. They'll go to work tomorrow to see how they do. I think i'll like them.
