They are handy for valve servicing. Pulling out small pieces of packing, removing o-rings, cleaning out snap ring grooves and General poking and prodding. Good for taking apart round head ratchets too.

Thought so. Might be an idea to hit up your dentist for the real instruments instead of paying top dollar. We break one end of double-ended scalers and explorers all the time. They'd be perfect for your stated use, as they're no use to us with a single end. So I save all my broken ones for my machinist/mechanic patients and I always have a bunch on hand, free for the asking.

Nothing crazy. Little coast light. Works really well, and the perfect circle of light it emits is nice and sharp!

Also picked up a M12 heated hoodie, with battery, charger, and free M12 speaker. Pretty good deal, and the speaker is decent for the size!

After picking up the new SO 3/8" impact I needed some sockets to match. Picked up this sunex 3342 set off eBay from Summit. Used my eBay bucks and they had the best price.

Matt, I bought that 3342 set when they did their rebates awhile back. Sunex sure makes nice impact sockets.

If you find yourself wanting to expand the SAE set up a little from 3/4" you can buy shallow and deep 13/16", 7/8", 15/16" and 1" from ntxtools.com for about $22. I haven't gone through with the order just yet but I've shopped for the best price on the 8 individual sockets and they definitely have it.

Thanks for the tip! At the time of the rebate I didn't need 3/8" impacts so I didn't buy anything. Of course they haven't done it again since 2016. These were about $73 shipped on eBay with no tax. Couldn't say no to that.

I have that speaker and like it. It's much nice than the cheap Bluetooth speakers you find in stores. The heated jackets are interesting. I'd like to try one out myself.

Did you get the hoodie at Home Depot? If so, do you have a link?

No sir. Got it at A1 tool supply, a local tool store here in town. I believe they were clearing out old stock.

I don’t know if your from Canada, but if so, kms tools has a good special on the jackets...

Just recently realized my old wrecking bar has gone missing. Not sure if I left it on a jobsite, lent it to someone and forgot, or if it was "borrowed" without my knowledge.

Hey more tools is a good thing, right? So I picked up this bad boy.
Estwing EWB-36PS "pro series" wrecking bar, 36" was only $15.98 from HD online with free shipping to my local store. It is 1" in diameter and has to weigh 7-8 lbs, made in USA.

Surprisingly it is $6 cheaper than the 24" version.

Can't wait to go tear some stuff up with this thing.

8a4aa27f79654af6a9b9cf1cdbca4459.jpgNeeded a spray gun for some upcoming vintage tool box restorations so thought I would try this one. Ordered on line for pickup in store went and got it noticed the box was allready opened. Not a good sign opened it to check it out paint cup was a 1/3 full of soapy water took it back showed the manager only one they had so told him take 30% off I would take it as is allready had 10% off of it with a coupon. Here is my point I hate guys that do stuff like this buy a product use it then clean it up and return it sorta ticks a guy off.

I had a chance to use these last night. Overall I'm happy. I think the swivel is not very tight so I might have to upgrade that. I also noticed the sockets tend to bite onto the socket head and make it stick a bit after tightening - anyone else notice that or is it just the nature of impacts vs chrome?

The SO fun was pretty awesome. No complaints there

Picked this up at SEMA today on a "show" special. It's pretty damn badass. I can't wait to get home and really give it a try.

Nice! Never seen that one before.

This thing is sick LD. It has weld settings of 8-15 in half settings. Grinding and cutting settings of 5-8 and I guess you can even dial it down enough to do D.C. Tig to 3 amps.

It also has a grinding button on the outside of the lid so you can make those adjustments and just push the button to toggle in and out. The lid has side windows on it with #5 lense in them which is a real trip, no more tunnel vision. And from what I experienced as well as read tonight the lense is insanely clear and large.

I was wandering around in Lowes and found this aluminum yardstick for less than three bucks!

I can always use another 1/8" graduated measuring stick in the woodshop.

Our independent guy had this on my truck, matches my gauge set so figured why not. Nice to have the one time I’ll need it!
