Wow - good catch. I had to go down and look and no, it is not a 2.0 wrench. It seems odd that they would not all be 2.0's since they were drop shipped from Wright. I don't think I care, but should I? I gather that 2.0 is slightly less aggressive?

Those are so Slick I had to just buy the 1/2 inch and 3/8 inch sets in both SAE and Metric

Waaaahooo!, I finally got my Dennis order after waiting a few months for this shipment to come in. And how does D pay me in return.........in nuts the rat bastage. Back when I shipped stuff all the time I only saved these as a joke or cause I hated my customer

No, no pics as yet but I have just purchased the DeWalt DCF899P2 cordless impact kit...2x5ah batteries, charger, bag and the DCF899 1/2" impact wrench. Rated @700lb/ft (tested @914lb/ft) fwd torque and 1200lb/ft reverse. I had the DCF889P2 kit (400/700lb/ft w/4ah batteries) but within five minutes of getting the new one I sold the old (4mos old) one to one of the guys at work for a slight profit (more on that later) and he was very happy!

I will always go TOTL DeWalt...great tools that stand up in the worst of it and as a bonus...my brother is employed by Stanley/B&D so I am ever grateful for TOTL tools at his employee price. You would cry...I mean it. My DCF899P2 kit was sub $200Cdn...tax in!

The DCF899 is "MIA"...how so inexpensive?

Edit: Now with the pic...hey, there ya go...it actually happened!

That impact is a beast. Use one at work and even made $10 when the older mechanic I work with bet it couldn't take off a dozen nuts torqued to 600 ft/lbs. Zipped them off like it was nothing.

The brown tool truck dropped these off yesterday. CDI 3/8 drive 0 to 50 ft lb torque wrench, NOS Napa 1/4" NM40 ratchet, Knipex 8 inch needle nose pliers, spark plug wire crimping die, and a Bondhus 12mm hex key.

I'll second that request. I had to make some wires up recently and looked high and low for a decent crimper. I finally grabbed my 1/8" die grinder and small stones and made my own. It works pretty decent getting the open end to curl in deep but I got it just a tad off center and would prefer the real thing next time. And yes, I bought every cheap pair the local parts stores had without much luck.

Some new tools:
1. Wiss box cutter... wicked hefty frame. Anti corrosion blades...
2. Cheap Chinese calipers that show SAE Fractions... along with decimal and metric
3. Bora folding square (made in Sweden)...
4. Dewalt Wet/Dry Tile Saw (4 3/8" blade) includes hoses etc
5. 3 diamond blades (1 was in the box, 1 was a free deal, 1 was **** cheap)

For the record... online this saw has a lot of confusion about the arbor size... it's 20mm... and the saw does fit a 4 1/2 blade. So much bad info about this saw on the amazon reviews...

I'm ripping 4 foot porcelain tile and I can't fit them thru my table top wet saw for a rip... easily... excuse for a new tool right?

Depends on how ocd you are lol. There have been reports of others receiving mixed batches of version 1 and 2.0, supposedly 2.0 is supposed to be less aggressive to reduce marring fasteners. I personally think it's bad practice for Wright to be selling mixed sets just to get rid of old stock.

I have the same 2 Williams screwdrivers. I prefer the t-handle to a stubby, but I wish Williams would make a 1/4 driver, as I had to buy that in Snap-on flavor.

Heavy yes... but in a good way... I have so many utility knives but the Wiss is now my favorite.

For the record... I'm so cheap... I sharpen utility blades when I'm bored.

Cut some tile with that dewalt wet/dry saw... first cut, I tried dry... 8" cut... never again... wet from now on... figured I'd try it... holy **** the dust was epic... it cuts just as nice as my table wet saw.

Ripped down a 4' tile with water... much quieter and dust free.

Ordered a new 1 3/8" diamond hole saw... got the Bosch... arrives tomorrow.
