Asked the wife to pickup bandaids for my toolbox... I ran out recently...

It's not very nice to put band-aids on kitty... [emoji192][emoji53]

Love Snap-On pliers, hate how easily they rust

Agreed. I live very close to the ocean, so I give my tools a light coat of oil before they go into the box. I also keep a pack of desiccant in each drawer. Might be a little over kill, but none of my tools have rusted so far!

I really like Starrett's Tool and Instrument oil, and it turns out it's just mineral oil. So for corrosion protection, I use plain old mineral oil or a gun oil called Pro-Shot Zero Friction. I only bought the Pro-Shot because I want the bottle and it was a few bucks more than the empty one.

18V sub-Compact. I have Dewalt 20V non-Brushless, but had been hearing so many good things about these. I needed a new Ricipro saw so I took a chance. Really impressed with them all so far.

If you ordered from Amazon, there's good news! The picture in their listing has the old design bottle. The new bottle has an all metal cap with a gasket on the inside of it. :)

I got more VIM magrails. Was able to move my metric hex bit sockets, torx, and triple squares to the top of my cart. Triple squares will stay here till I eventually pick up some e-torx sockets, then they'll go back into a drawer with sockets I don't use often. You can also see a screw driver rack I 3D printed. Still needs some tweaking before I print a holder for the entire set. Also need to find a better way to organize extensions. (Everything here is metric because the only vehicles I work on are my own)

As I understand it urrea was proto's mexican division, which is long independent. That's why the handles, some of the tools, look very proto.

New 5 drawer from harbor freight. Guy said I was the only person he has seen walk in and they have a blue box in stock. Added some vinyl flair as well at the top.

Damn those DBE's look exceptionally long. What are those? I can't tell from my phone, thanks.

Picked up this Fini 2 gallon compressor for the car trailer. It was $79 at Menard's and I had a $44 quarterly 2% rebate and then a few days later received my 11% rebate of 33 dollars. I was pretty happy to get those when I wanted to buy something. . . . but imagine my surprise when I went to grab a coupon out of the booklet (mailed with monthly statement) and spotted the $20 off coupon for the compressor I wanted.

I ended up spending $145 dollars at Menards and between the rebates and coupons, I paid $41.** for what I had bought.

The Jobsmart (TSC brand) 12mm 12 pt sockets were 99 cents in the clearance section, good for taking the driveshaft bolts out.
