I broke or lost so many picks that I only get them from HF for $.99 anymore. Or free when there is a coupon.
That's exactly why I buy snap on picks, they aren't terribly expensive, they hold up well, and my driver will replace them no problem.

he replaces them if you lose them? That's one hella nice SO guy :bounce:
Actually he will, but I've only ever lost a tool once. I keep track of my stuff pretty well. But I was mainly referring to replacing broken ones.

Really interested in what you think about them. I just bought a ton of SK sockets, impact sockets, wrenches, breaker bar, ratchets, etc...Really considering the ratcheting wrenches. Only thing stopping me is the fact they don’t have an offset.

Offsets would be nice, I expect in a couple of weeks, I'll have an opinion. Stay tuned.

New set of 3 magnets. They are crazy strong. Takes some effort just to move them a little

I'm on the edge of needing reading glasses on a regular basis. I grabbed these from Amazon to give them a try. Safety glasses with built in readers. USA.

I think this is my 4th pick set lol.ccebbe5f7a733cf8cc90dd0dea2bf3f6.jpg
Those Snappy filter strap wrenches are beyond nice. I've been tempted to pick one up since I used my old coworker's.
I honestly haven’t had a chance to look over them well or use them.
Keep us posted on how they work out. I have that set and the Dominator o-ring pick set saved. Been doing plenty of hoses and coolant flushes lately, so might be time for a bit of an upgrade.

How do you like them compared to the older style? I’ve already had a few of the new ones replaced, my older set is still going strong. 15 years now.

Love them! The older version had the reversing lever that felt cheap. On the old set, I had to take the screws off the cover and work the lever loose on some wrenches as several jammed and they were brand new unused. I couldn't return them since I bought them from the classifieds here on GJ. The date code on the older version is 2014. I misstated saying it was 10 years old.

Here's a few things that came in recently:

Some Griot's Garage goodness in the form of a USAG Low Profile socket set, a set of picks, and a USAG Combi Drive. The combidriver is a 45 tooth ratcheting screwdriver that has a metal insert in the center of the handle, that allows it to become a t-driver when inserting a 1/44 hex bit holder shaft.Additionally, the removable cap is actually a stubby magnetic screwdriver with a bit storage ring around its shaft.
Also pictured is a Snap on ratcheting screwdriver part# SSDMR4BHV with a high vis yellow handle and black stainless steel shaft.

Picked up this 6" 1/4-drive ratchet from Teton to try out their new 90t design. Looks and feels great. 9158a094e216b71fead3781ec99f0be0.jpg84172eb09eee5e3aeb57e8a66bdd1483.jpg

Small order from HJE, had to get one of the shirts! The mid-torque 1/2" impact came new from a FB group for $120, and a USA Kershaw from an Amazon deal the other week31abf5733545d93b39d54edfed9c84a5.jpg

Got a new grinder so I can cut some 4 gauge wire for a fence to keep the foxes and coyote out of my property. I could probably find other uses for it. 65$ after tax seemed like a OK price for a new not made in China grinder.DSC_0339.jpgDSC_0340.jpg

Have you used Tub O' Towels? How do they compare to Snap On?

I have not. I have some ugly looking Instinct handles, and Jermey from Haasl Tools on Youtube did a vid using these. They worked well for him, figured I'd give them a try. It'll be a few days before I get to use them though. Will post then.
