Here are some comparison photos of the facom 500 original and the dent fix. IMG_20181205_093926.jpgIMG_20181205_094052_1.jpegIMG_20181205_094303.jpegIMG_20181205_094255.jpegIMG_20181205_094228.jpegIMG_20181205_094154.jpeg

Edit:
Mind you that the dent fix are probably cheap due to some sort of inventory liquidation and from what I can tell the company is no longer in operations and eBay is the only place I know where to find these they've been discussed a few times in eBay deals thread. If you need some jump on theme they are good and cheap supplies probably won't last.

Got the knurled hex wrenches at pbtools.us (count on tools) when they had their black friday 30% off sale. Still way too expensive for hex wrenches, but they do look cool. (and I do make my living with them)

Does anybody have experience with the brand SG Toll Aid? They make crimpers, strippers and other electrical and wiring tools. I am thinking about placing an order but not sure about the brand.

Pretty sure they're just an importer/rebrander of mostly Chinese and Taiwan tools. I have their back probe set, as recommended by Eric of SMA and Keith of NLA, and they work well. As always, approach with caution.

Needed to fill some holes and having never tried TEKTON but seeing how well reviewed they are I thought I'd give them a try.

I've seen some pics (and maybe it was the pic) but the beams looked rather large and made them rather unappealing to the eye. Here they look fantastic! Might finally pull the trigger on a set to give out as a Christmas gift

Been on the fence with these since they first came up on GJ. Not that I’m worries they’re garbage and I should spring for the Facom’s, but because I don’t have a need for them at all.

So you’ve convinced me, one set on the way!

How are the new quick release snap-on ratchets...any play between the anvil and the socket / extension?

I have big hands but they don't feel too big, actually quite comfortable.
For the price I'm happy with their finish, hope they perform as good as they look.

From Amazon. They had a $5 coupon on these so I sprang for a couple.
Hopefully they're not garbage.

Just ordered those. I'm low on gloves and with the coupon and the already discounted price they're about HF prices.

I also had a "courtesy coupon" from Amazon delivering a previous package late, which brought it down to 6.** after tax, and I chose the "no rush" shipping so I get another dollar back for rewards.

Not bad

Picked up a couple 1/4" proto HTC ratchets 40$ each. Very smooth ratchets with mild back drag. Not as light of movement as the 4749p but not as heavy as some other ratchets.

Lets just say its been a good month for sales.

And for the record I'm blaming everyone that post in the HOT DEALS threads and also a lot of you in the General Tool Discussion.

Sad wallet happy garage guy.
