In their defense the wrong label was stuck on the packaging so the picker got what they thought was the correct tool. Also got several years worth of Baldwin oil filters and hard to find air filters for my Ferrari.

Call them up on the phone, they will straighten it out. I had some issues with zoro once where the whole bin must have been filled or labeled wrong. I tried using online means and ended up with the guy on the phone who understood what I was telling him. They had sent me like 3 19mm hex sockets when all I wanted was a 1/2 extension. I ended up giving them to my friends that work on VWs. The were nice Proto's and apparently they had a spot to use them.

Mayhew 15 Piece Brass Punch and Scraper Set #67015

I took a chance on this Amazon Warehouse Deal for $117. I've been watching this set and it's typically sells for $200. The tray is a bit banged up and I doubt that I'll even use it. The tools are in great shape though.

That's a cool set!!

Dewalt Flex Head ratchets in 1/4, 3/8, & 1/2 drive. 72 teeth, each has Torx head screw securing head to ratchet handle, nice chrome & balance. i like it that the beam of the handle is rectangular instead of round, and I like the handle shape. 1/4 measures approx 6 5/16, 3/8 comes in at approx 11 inches, and the 1/2 is 14 inches long. Nice chrome, made in Taiwan. Picked up on ebay last week when there was a sale, $36.50 for the set.

A few things I wanted. I find the 6" wrench plier size far more useful than the 10" I initially bought.

I found these indexing head nail pullers at tsc for $10.99, my indexing head prybar is my go to and was significantly more expensive than this two pack so I figured I'd pick them up. Also in for a set as a gift.e02d54ed4af33fc5d985e7138e04b0b4.jpg

I see your tsc had the sae wrenches. I was going to try a different tsc today but got sidetracked. Maybe try again tomorrow.

They had exactly 2 metric and 2 sae sets left. I bought all of then and gave the second sets to my neighbor.

I called it a Man Christmas present....early and unwrapped.

Got both of those texton sets. They are in my service van and get used daily. Great chrome finish and good coverage with no skips. Excellent quality tools for the money. Highly recommend them

Good to hear. I have way too much $$$ invested in snap-on, Matco, and MAC at work. So I decided to go cheaper for home use and have heard great things about tekton

I got a new set of 1/2" metric impact sockets to go with my new M18 mid torque impact. The sockets are what I expected. But I have to say I'm disappointed with the case. I have the 3/8" set that covers metric and standard and I really like it. It's solid and very space efficient. The 1/2" case is of the same build quality, but there is so much wasted space. There is nothing in the top half, just a filler piece that is at least an inch thick. :wtf: I get that they want to use standardized case sizes but this is just dumb IMO.

I kinda splurged on myself today. But it’s all good cause I’ll just wrap them up and and stick them under the tree with tags to me from Santa.

I hate blow molded cases for sockets. Gotta get them on rails. Takes up way less space.

Yeah, most of my sockets are on Hansen trays or rails. The 3/8 impacts are the only ones that stay in the case since they live in the car with my M12 stubby.

Gotcha. For purposes of mobility my preference is clip rails inside a soft tool bag. Just my opinion, that's all.

Not a tool on the strictest sense. Added the newer shallow HF parts bins to my toolbox. It's like they somehow knew what box I had and wanted to use them for as they couldn't have fit any better in the drawer. Absolutely no wasted space around the edges and allows me to better organize my shallow drawers which has always been an issue.

I just checked the other nearby TSC a few minutes ago. No SAE in sight, but they did have two sets of metric.

Update on the wrenches. Idk if it's just bad luck or what, because I've had a set of straight GW ratchet wrenches for YEARS, but I grabbed the 13mm out of the package this morning to do an oil change and it broke on the first attempt

That *****, but not surprising with my experience with GW ratcheting wrenches. I bought sets of the originals years ago and a lot of them failed in pretty short order. Soured me on GW to this day. Garbage. I know, I know, people use them everyday with no issues...

I've used the regular straight ones for over 10years professionally and only warranted 2 wrenches(13mm and 18mm) one time!

These reversible angle wrenches dont feel nearly as sturdy, especially the ratcheting mechanism...

I used some Amazon 'dollars' towards a birthday gift from my wife earlier in the fall.

Thanks. That tells me the trays will fit in my KRL1056 just fine. If I'm not mistaken, our boxes share the same drawer width, but the KRL1056 drawers will be about 3 inches deeper towards the back.
I figured out that three of these HF trays were a perfect fit for a KRL drawer awhile back too.

In a 29" deep box like my KRL1001 there are a couple inches of additional room either at the front or back (underneath the sliding tray in this pic).82803cc9fd83e6ba5c3f5a6191cfe2fb.jpg

Not as big a purchase as some of y’all, but picked up this 1/4” drive 1/4” socket. Won some points on the “win it” app and needed to use them before the 23rd or they expired. And since I was in Vegas all week for work, I didn’t have a chance to while I was out there....
