I figured out that three of these HF trays were a perfect fit for a KRL drawer awhile back too.

In a 29" deep box like my KRL1001 there are a couple inches of additional room either at the front or back (underneath the sliding tray in this pic).

I have been using it to cut up steel at work and I am VERY impressed by it. Blows my Stihl TSA 230 out of the water. I have pushed it hard and it will not stop. I have cut 2" solid rod, I beams, and 1/4" plate so far. With the 9.0AH batteries it will go for quite a while. Will be using it this spring doing some concrete work and I don't think I will have to break out my Husqvarna gas saw.

Yes I agree. The KRL boxes come with one of each and an even bigger (deeper) one in the bottom 10" deep drawer. I'm not sure if they sell a ton of these after the fact.

Received the Gearwrench ratcheting serpentine belt kit today. I knew it was made in Taiwan before purchasing, but if I had seen this box in a retail store, I may have been fooled.

Does it rub anyone else the wrong way that Gearwrench's warranty logo is a stylized American flag, not unlike what other brands put on the packages of their made in USA tools?

This horse has been dead for a very long time. We all lost. Continuing to get rubbed the wrong way is futile and self destructive.

Only when we have a coherent strategy for Made in the USA will there be any value to what stylized flags and so forth really mean. Sadly, today, it don't mean ****.

Ah, didn't realize the horse had been well beaten. As long as I'm not the only one perturbed by this! At minimum, I would hope it meant not made in Taiwan, but I get what you're saying. It's not like made in USA things are really *made* in USA most of the time. Just thought this example was particularly egragious!

Not only that "Made in USA" but for a Made in Taiwan, the fit and finish is poor, especially on the crow feet

You're buying a kit containing a fine tooth ratcheting wrench and you hope it wasn't made in Taiwan

There are very few US made fine tooth ratcheting wrenches. Look at the emblem this way, the kit has a lifetime warranty if you're in the US.

The exo-frame is a little too "custom" for me, so it'll be coming off and rebuilt (someday, along with all the other projects I'm trying to knock out in my free time). Cleaned and lubed the drawer slides, need to pull the added lock, replace some of the weather seal, etc.

Anyone have any idea on the manufacturer? Looking on the internet the closest I could find were the International chests, but this one comes in at 26" wide x 18" deep with 16" deep drawers, and is HEAVY.

Haha no, that's not what I said at all. In my original post, I clearly said I knew it was made in Taiwan when I bought it.

I was responding to the post I quoted which said a made in USA logo wouldn't mean much until we agreed what "made in USA" meant in the first place. I was saying a good starting point would be to not apply it to a tool made in Taiwan.

Anyway, no need to further derail this thread, sounds like that drum has already been beaten.

21 & 7/8'' long. KRL722 drawer depth is 21 & 7/8'' deep.

10 & 1/4'' wide. KRL722 drawer width is 30 & 1/2'' wide.

10 & 1/4'' X 3 = 30 & 3/4''.

Somehow all three still fit even though there's a 1/4'' deficit in width.
