I have an outstanding invoice with a customer, once that is paid, I am ordering the Prusa with the 5 port head. My BIL has one and loves it, I know it will be useful, but I agree for some of us, me included, the learning curve will be the hardest part.

We have a 5 color head on our prusa at work. I was assigned putting it together. It took a while, and there were lots of bugs, but once it's working, it works great.

The learning part was a pain, but I have been using 3d printers in our prototype lab for a few years so getting the Ender up and running went pretty smooth.

Just stopped at Mircocenter and bought some filament. Time to get to work!

Picked up a couple inexpensive items from HF today.

2- Braun Shop lights (Bought two yesterday so two more should light up the one car garage shop)
2- Plastic wrench racks (going to cut off the little taps that keep the wrenches from fall off when transported. Once their in the tool box that's where they'll stay)
1- Motorcycle wheel cleaning stand (wanted two, but they only had one in stock)
1- Brass hammer (replacement for the one that grew legs and walked away)
1- One piece foam anti-fatigue mat (we'll see how that goes)
3- Different bolt/nut kits for small jobs

1- FREE magnetic strip

Here's a bit of a fun oddity. Aven 2-in-1 electronics pliers/cutters. I believe they're just two tools with a single dipped plastic sheath around the handles. Made in Pakistan.

From the edges of the plastic, it looks like they line up one side and then cut off the excess from the other side.

Next to some Knipex ESD pliers and cutters for comparison.

No longer will I struggle so much with rusted on lug nuts. Grabbed this Central Tools 7005 3/4" drive 36" long breaker bar. I don't know much about it, but $47 shipped send a decent deal for such a large made in USA breaker bar, and I've been looking for something bigger than my 18.5" Craftsman breaker bar.

Has quite a bit of info stamped on both sides of the bar, and says Hunter Wilde on the handle.

It almost looks like it is a preset torque wrench, either way, looks like a nice piece.

I have a torque wrench that looks just like that.... but I could never get it to adjust! So now it's a breaker bar too. [emoji106]

I thought the same thing when I opened it! The pictures in the eBay listing didn't show a good angle to be able to see that, and the listing described it as a breaker bar.

Before I bought it, I couldn't find any documentation online for "Central Tools 7005," as shown in the stamp, so I chalked it up to an old tool from a smaller tool manufacturer with little online presence, figured I wanted a breaker bar, and bought it.

The other thing the pictures also didn't show was the list of patent numbers stamped on the reverse side of the bar. I just did a patent search for those, and sure enough, they're all patents for torque limiting mechanisms :-/

I think I may have unwittingly bought a single-setting torque wrench:

I emailed Central Tools to get some more info. At first they didn't recognize the model number as being one of theirs. After sending them some pictures they did some more digging and responded that they did at one point sell breaker bars and that this appears to be one of them. They said it's will over 50 years old and that's why they didn't recognize the model number, and that they don't have any more info on it.

Of course then I went to put it away today and noticed the tip of the handle was cut off and there's some sort of adjustment screw inside the bottom of the handle. I have no idea how I missed this before.

Between this and all the patent numbers referencing torque limiting mechanisms, I'm somewhat convinced this actually is a torque wrench, despite what the eBay listing and Central Tools themselves said.

Only thing I don't know is, if the screw in the bottom is the torque adjustment, how do you know what torque you've set it to? Or maybe it is a single-setting torque wrench and the adjustment screw is just for calibration?

I have that set. I really like the satin finish and the knurling on the sockets. It's pretty hard to beat those sets when they're on sale. The 36 tooth ratchet gets smoother with use.

I am willing to bet that screw is the fine tune adjustment.
