Those pliers are my fave!! Have a set at work and home.
I just got them and used them a little yesterday, they are a bit different from the regular wire pliers I've been using the last few years, but so far no complaints

I bought some USA made pruning reciprocating saw blades last night. During my research for blades, not only did I learn of the existence of pruning blades, but that there were some USA made blades close by, in stock, courtesy of SBD Craftsman from Lowe's. They are just "bi-metal", whatever that is, but I am not doing deforestation, just pruning limbs. :)

I’ve really wanted a set of these but can’t justify to myself to purchase a whole set for just around the house. Saw this 1/2” on eBay for 13 bucks and had to see if they were as nice as they looked. Very impressed and love the length.

I saw those before and liked then but they’re spline drive right? Since I never encounter spline drive stuff, I didn’t go for it. And I’m one of those who doesn’t want to use a “universal” type tool instinctively and would rather use the right tool for the fastener type. Curious what you input is after using the wrench on the spline drive.

I posted the hot deal of the Xcelite 99-series metric set for only about $11 here https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=7653574#post7653574

I got it today and added it to my 99-series collection. Yeah, it's Chinese and the rest are USA, but oh well. For $11, whatever. Here it is (lower-left) with the rest of my collection.

Then I came across a Robertson/Scrulox set of the mini drivers. I had never seen these before, not even in catalogs, so I had to get 'em. Here they are with my hoarde of minis. They are top-right in the picture. They aren't in the greatest shape, but again, I had never seen them, so beggars can't be choosers ;)

Pruning blades have a more aggressive tooth set up, I just did a quick search so I can give you a link with a photo to compare. What you purchased may work but there are specific ones for pruning and they work Soo much better.

Collection looks good.

As far as the COO at least they posted it up front.

Mine will be here tomorrow and I don't even have prime.

Nice Milwaukee. Do you know what is different between the two 4ah battery?

One is XC and I cannot make out the white text on the first battery.

Both are XC 4.0. The one in the stubby is bought in sweden and the one in the drill is from US, we have different labels here for some reason. Even the 2.0 have a different label

Went to Sears today about 20 miles away and bought a few things. Mainly wanted a 1/4” socket rail for some new 1/4” impact sockets I picked up on eBay.

eb47f7ba1543cf022da48488009597e9.jpg

Also picked up a couple Craftsman items as I doubt I’ll ever go to Sears again.

4 oz hammer I like these handles.

Some socket rails for future needs and a few Craftsman utility knives.

Also opened up the Sunex kit I got last week. What a great set for a decent price. Very comprehensive 3/8” setup.

Thanks, but Home Depot is an hour away. "Made in the USA" was an important part of the decision in these blades. I saw the Swiss made Diablo, even with carbide teeth, but I am pruning small limbs. These do say "PRUNING" on the packaging.

It's not new to me but new to me posting it here. I was shopping a local Thrift store here in Stockton and low and behold I came across this beautiful set at a price I could not let pass by. My GF was like you sure you want to spend $5.00 on those. I LOL'd and looked at here and said honey I'll more than triple my money if I ever want to sell. I know a slight under estimate but she understood then so yeah. Hope ya'll enjoy. Maybe some day we meet and have a drink out of these Hmm.

I have full sets of both SAE and metric Proto USA reversible combos. No issues at all with the spline drive but the beam is rather squared - the edges are not as rounded as most others and not all that comfortable.

Still, they're better than the chi-wan variants in terms of ratchet feel/quality. I've broken a number of Tiwan ones but not Protos (so far).

Same I got the 3/8” stubby and fuel ratchet for Christmas so wanted these. I have snap on sae mid length. But had no metric impact and no torx so this is a huge upgrade. I’ll report back once I’ve used them more but feeling good about having such a complete set of deep, standard and swivel sockets in metric and sae plus the torx T and E sockets.

Its my go to set. The wobbles make life so easy on a lot of projects. I've yet to take it out of the case because I find myself taking it to peoples garages when I do a job for them, its just all encompassing. Add your favorite 3/8 ratchet and impact and you're set.

This set was a major steal when they had the rebates going on.

This goes with me whenever I use my stubby

I bought some Milwaukee scissors this year, the off-set type. My new favorite tool! Seriously why did I not have these sooner. I use them all the time.

They cut good. They rust very easy with moisture. If you cut something that has slight moisture and the moisture gets on the metal, rust. Mine already rusted. Beware of Chicom metal.
