Collection looks good.
Thanks! I don't know why I am so obsessed with Xcelite tools, but I just am, lol.
Collection looks good.
Scored this NAPA Carlyle fine tooth tune up ratchet on sale for $30! Can’t say enough about the quality of Carlyle and the fit and finish is fantastic! Pictured with another Carlyle flex head locking ratchet I bought a while back

Where did you find these on sale?
Check the hot deals forum on here...theres a thread on Carlyle deals
I have the 1/4" Wobble Plus and I've found them to be very versatile. The majority of the time I just use them as a regular extension but it's nice to be able to just pull up a bit for some angle flexibility without going back to my box to get a different tool. How do you like the wobble plus extensions. My dealer has the same promo on and I was thinking about getting a set. I already have the FHLLF80 so I was wondering if I could trade it for another type of ratchet.

As far as a different ratchet goes, a tech at my shop today bought the same promo and got the standard FH80 instead. I've also bought one of these type promos before and traded the ratchet in for a different one but I'm sure it totally varies from one rep to the next.

Sonic Tools had some sets on promo over the holidays for over half off... picked up a Metric and SAE combination set and some panel tools/hooks/scraper. 6-24mm and 1/4”-1 1/16” without any skipping. The satin finish on the wrenches looks much nicer than I expected, much better in person than in photos!

Sonic is one of the higher end Taiwan made tool importers. They claim to be the Corvette race team tool of choice. Some stuff seems nice and when they have sales price is nice. Full price is too high for most tools.Never heard of sonic but those look like quality. Definitely the mold they come with. And the steel in the pictures sort of has that matte finish like you see on European tools. Cool seeing new stuff. Hope you like them.

Hmmm, not the made in Germany wrenches I expected![]()
Lol they look nice to me! I’ve never been a COO *****. I look at American made stuff first, but that’s just how I start a search. I have a blend of USA, Taiwan, China, and Europe.

They're very nice and I'm pleasedGoing to keep these as well, should be set on wrenches for awhile. Got to use my Carlyle ones today! Just a little disappointing that I was mislead, expected Gedore and Made in Germany and was a little surprised, continuing on with my tool mishaps for the last week lol.
Lolol. Omg it’s you from the Carlyle thread! How did you get the wrong brand when you bought??? Haha I’m not surprised considering you’re other mishaps. Too funny.

Thank you! Indulgent, but I'm worth it, LOL.
The Proto Metric shorty sockets were a blessing - used a few the day they came in.
Of all the small angle grinders I have (B&D, Bosch, Hitachi, Bosch 18V), I like the new Makita the best. I've yet to give it a real workout, but I love the way it feels. And the stubby Milwaukee impact is at least an inch shorter (and stronger) than my old Bosch 3/8 impact. I need to put that to work.
Not sure how to get image to show with link. ARG!!

Wiha and Wera have similarly sized prybars. They call them “chip lifters.”
