Quite honestly, I think they look cooler as 4 different colors.

I'm assuming the t500 is the 3rd from the left. Looks like a t47 torx plus. The points are flat.

Set up my new Skill table saw , I checked all the settings
And they all checked out spot on 👍
I really like the 45degree dust chute, just set a bucket under it
And almost no mess on the floor . It folds up nice ,
Takes up about 28”x28” floor space

Got these today at a local hardware that specializes in closeouts/merchandise from stores that have closed. Almost everything in the place is 30 percent off.

This is the newly released Vessel 1/4" metric socket set. It was purchased from JDV products here in the USA. https://www.vesseltools.com/handtools/socketsets

I don't read Japanese so I don't know if it's made in Japan, Taiwan, or China.
Hopefully someone here can decipher the box for me.

your pictures don't show up. pasting in one the urls i found when i went to do this reply pops up a login dialog and i can't see them after logging into (one of) my google accounts. maybe they're private?

anyways...

if you have a smartphone, load up google translate, put it in camera mode and point it at the japanese text. english (or whatever you want) will show up on the screen.

I've always been a 3/8" drive guy. Was all I had growing up and has been my go to drive ever since. Thought I'd try to become a 1/4" drive guy. The other ratchet snuck into my cart somehow. :lol_hitti

Very nice. I'm a big fan of those ratchet handles.

I picked up a set of the Matco pinless impact swivel joints. The 1/4" drive version is comically small.

IMG_20190307_144245.jpg

A while back I had a need for a 7/8" hex, I want to say for a GM Dana 60 front axle and I had to use a borrowed gigantic hex key. I had always noticed that the 7/8" hex drivers were 3/4" drive, and wanting to stick to 1/2" drive, I made one from a Williams 7/8" socket and a Bondhus 7/8" bit. Both came from Amazon for about $12 total.

IMG_20190307_144615.jpg

I may never need it, but that's never stopped me before...

I googled and could not find much info except maybe for using with sandblasting.

One of the link has this with the titled Delta Shopsmith Downdraft Table. What is it used for?

Continuing the Quest for cheap Tig, I picked up the footpedal ($79.00 down from $170 ) and regulator ($59 from $99) for my cheap china welder. The footpedal is a weird one, with the max amperage pot on the side. I wanted a SSC made one, but apparently they dont offer this style. Just need a torch and an Argon fill!

Ive also been chasing a good inspection light for a long time and grabbed a Pelican 1920. Seems decent so far

I've been doing some catching up a thing or two that has been a long time coming. I out-grew my old Blue-Point box several years ago. I suddenly got tired of having my BP box, junkyard Milwaukee box and Husky roll cart over flowing with tools and went on the search for a new box. I finally settled on a KRL1022 in Extreme Green. Three boxes in to one and I still have a full drawer completely empty. Then my sweet wife got me the HF 5-drawer roll cart in matching green for my birthday. The match is nearly identical and the quality is really great on the cart as well, especially for $189. Now I just need to figure out what the heck to use the cart for with all the space in my main box still. I couldn't be happier with both.

Tool wise I've recently added a TLLF72, Snap-On non-marring trim tool set, Blue-Point small magnet to replace my old Craftsman that recently broke, Blue-Point large mirror, Carlyle 5pc metric and 4 pc sae double box flex reversible ratcheting wrenches that are also found under the Mountain, EZ-Red, Klutch, etc... brands. Those things are the bee's-knee's. Lastly the 25" Carlyle 1/2"-drive ratchet that's on sale. Not shown is also a Mityvac MV8000 given to me by my best friend as a birthday gift. I don't know how I've gone this long without that kit.

Some German goodness from Amazon.de for less than half the price of KC Tool, Stahlwille offset wrench set in Metric and SAE. The finish on these is excellent and the fit on a bolt head is tighter than anything else I have.

It's good for what it is and the price you pay on sale. The head is nothing to write home about. It's your typical Taiwanese head like you'd find on a Kobalt ratchet or something. But I'm sure it's strong. The chrome is nice. It will serve it's purpose well.

That's a real bummer. A few of my VIM 8" rails came in a lighter shade of blue than the rest. I know your pain. :(

I wish I needed some of these but I already have full sets of Craftsman Pro and Proto. I really want the Stahwilles. Wanna trade? :bounce:

Had some time to kill today so I headed out to harbor freight and a local hardware store near me called Paul B hardware. First pic is hf and the second is the local store. Didn’t really need anything in particular. Just picked up what caught my eye.

The Stahlwilles have a steeper offset than Cman USA. Eventually you may find a need - I did several times and finally bought the Stahlwille metric set
