Milwaukee Fastback Compact. Plastic handle with metal liners. No blade storage (keeping it compact). Worth the money for the addictive flipping action alone.

Found the new Dewalt Atomic Drill and Impact kit at a local Home Depot for $179. Can't wait to see how much smaller they are compared to my other Dewalt drill/impact at work.

Interesting wrench set. What exactly are they used for? Nuts on long studs?

I kinda wondered this too when another guy posted them. Appears to be a European thing :headscrat

Originally this started out as a search for a 10mm in this style of wrench. It fits perfect in some of the tight spaces on European cars, where i need a little more leverage but not a socket wrench, if that makes sense.

Anyway, once i found the 10mm, i seen the set, shipped from France via Amazon. So i figured, why not.

The pass through design sold me on other potential uses. They may end up being the just in case tool. But, all of you know, when you need it, its good to have it....what ever IT is.

They're ideal for brake bleeders, i have the set by Facom in 6 point.

The tube fits nicely through the opening at the bend.

Or just use a normal wrench/spanner. Only real use I ever saw in those angle socket wrenches is valve adjustments or anything else that requires access to a jam screw/nut.

Maybe there should be another thread called "Justify your new tool arrivals"

But, this one is simply "Show your new tool arrivals" no justification needed.

Was the search started based on seeing the wrench on a certain VW page?

Those would be good for strut work.

Yes!

Whew! I just checked out the price on Amazon in France. Pricey! That's a nice set man; enjoy your wrenches!

If you're an Amazon nut like myself, you know their pricing is sometimes flat iout WACKY!

I paid $138 to my door...i looked 24hrs later and they were $190 before shipping.

My secret Amazon technique is to place all the things i want or think i want into my shopping cart. From there Amazon will notify you when there is any type of price change. You would be surprised how many times items change prices. Sometimes a few pennies sometimes big jumps.

This technique works VERY well for holiday sales. Stash all the things you think you may want into your shopping cart a few weeks prior and watch the games Amazon plays.....they all slowly rise before, then some take a major drop and some don't move at all. Its fascinating to me.

I have a newer Delta packed up neatly in my shed. Thing scared the hell out of me. Tried to rip with it once because the book said it could. No thanks. If you’re not an idiot like me it’s probably handy.

A few goodies this week from my favorite tool truck.

I've had a set of Wiha Microfinish Screwdrivers that I absolutely love. They will be moving into my field tech bag. Decided to give the Snap On's a try since they were on sale.

Long ball hex bit socket set.

AST brake reservoir adapter for my pressure bleeder.

Yessir. I’m definitely a diehard Amazon Nut. I use the same strategy in regards to pricing. When I checked your wrench set it showed $238 for me. Where abouts are you in N.C.? I live a little north of Raleigh.

Picked up a 120° mini die grinder from my Mac guy a couple weeks ago. Really digging it with surface prep and sanding roloc discs.b192dd4898c0d2b6241290589f21c203.jpgMy Snap-on power tool drawer organizer kit finally showed up yesterday too. Was on back order apparently cuz it took over a month to come in.

It's designed for the 12" deep drawer in a KRL1163 but as I've seen others do, it drops right in the 10" deep drawer on my KRL1001.a483fc8cde17de286f1be470ddf4864a.jpgThe big boy high torque doesn't fit and really couldn't be made to unless you were to modify (lower) the bar that the handles rest on. Since everything else fit so nicely with only individual adjustment of the holsters up and down, I've got no problem with the high torque standing up in the drawer. There is still tons of room in the bottom of the drawer to accommodate my other cordless tools too.b345c53a0fe3efb5def7a1353ca0162f.jpgHere it is all loaded up. I also flipped the last small holster upside down and it created a perfect rest for my M12 ratchet. b84782d295d7e1b53f7ace23a51ff76e.jpgPart number if anyone is interested in ordering one. Not cheap but worth every penny to me to update and better organize my box. Also here in the Arizona summer, the rubber overmolds melt just from the weight of the tool laying in the drawer so this should be a non issue now.14ed0bb6aec44d68007f7961bd0bf352.jpg

I don't have a power drawer, but I do have a power locker. Very neat idea to flip the "cup" upside down to hold the ratchet!

So awhile ago I saw a youtube video and the guy was hunting for evap leaks and pulled out this cap set that he said a viewer sent him and proceeded to plug ports/cap hoses. Thought it was fantastic. Finally got around to looking it up. Caterpillar 276-7018.

In addition you can set up some price alerts at camelcamelcamel.com (sorry, can't link sites yet) and sign up for notifications. It also tracks historical prices which has helped me hold out longer for a drop.
