I have a few small dents in a toolbox that I recently picked up and don't have any body hammers. I have been looking for a week or so at options (was really wanting a used Snap-On to restore, but I wasn't feeling the current prices on eBay) and found this 30/40mm Picard for a great price on Amazon and jumped on it. Looking forward to trying it out. I also added the 17mm and 19mm Williams ratcheting wrenches to my set.

My first "real multimeter" I just need to learn how to use it now. Lol

Fluke 87V. Came with leads, alligator attachments, and temperature probe.

Liked my 3/8" impact from last week enough that I sprung for the hex impact. I'm also thinking about getting the non impact driver, as well as a 1/4" impact. No plans for adding any Snap On 18V stuff.

I am in the same exact position, nothing from the 18 volt screams at me like the smaller stuff did. I am sticking to Milwaukee for most stuff.

I didn't. I don't like contacting the manufacturer over defects on warehouse deals since I'm already getting a discount for the defects. Occasionally I just don't think the defect is worth the discount so I return them.

I would understand them being designed that way for the grippy parts, and I'm pretty sure the grippy part of these is intentionally designed this way. However, my issue was specifically that the cutty parts didn't come together evenly, which can be seen in the zoomed in picture. This causes them to not cut well under any conditions.

That's a feature of the pliers on the lineman, and others. Electricians often twist wires together before wire nutting, grab wires to loop etc.

As for the cutting that doesn't sound right.

Just got this stubby ratcheting screwdriver.
There is an elastic mechanism in it which allow wrist adjustment.
Still testing it out if it lasts.

Fedex dropped off the Astro Pneumatic 78344 10 piece 3/8 drive Nano Pinless metric universal impact socket set yesterday that I got off of Ebay.

Seems like a real nice set for a hair over $70. First impressions: seem a little stiff out of the box, nice large gold etched size markings on one side. no stamped size markings, each socket measures approx 2 1/8 inches long overall.

I'll take them to work and see what's what.

I've had the same one for a year and a half now. Lives under the seat of my truck. In the heat and the cold. Needed it twice to help others at near zero temps. Worked well. I bring it in the house every 6 months to charge it. Never needs much.

This will be a everyday use item. It’ll stay in my work truck and I always have guys that need a jump. I told him if he were to get me one that he get the fast charger as I don’t think I could wait 10-12 hours to charge off a usb wall adapter

Plus I still have my JNC770 but this thing is light as a feather compared to that beast

Tried to use my new gas analyzer with a motorcycle and the probe didn't work very well so I got the motorcycle probe for it.

Also need to sync a V8 fuel injection system that has individual stacks and it's a ***** to get to the pressure ports to use a normal carb synchronizer so I picked up some synchronizers that measure the airflow into the stacks. Two small ones for idle and two for higher RPMs.

Just got the Tsunoda pliers yesterday! For 14 dollars I'm VERY impressed.

Rest of the stuff I've had for a few weeks now. Astro stuff from the BOGO deal, Williams SAE sockets and Capri swivels.

Got some stuff from Tekton. 1/4" 90t flex ratchet, 5" slip joint pliers, and took advantage of their $2 bungee promotion. Ratchet made in Taiwan, everything else USA.

Got annoyed having to run out all the time to pick up hose clamps. $99 on Amazon.

Next I need to upgrade my metric bolt collection.

The other thing I would be pissed about is that the display shows a stainless clamp with stainless screw, you got stainless with **** screws. The screw is always the downfall of those clamps.

Irwin circling pliers on sale at tractor supply for $7.50. Couldn't pass them up for that price. I've never owned a set before now, so I figured that would be a great addition to the tool box.

That’s what I deserve. Depending on Amazon reviews instead of GJ input. At least I knew enough not to buy the harbor freight hose clamps!
Amazon for reviews is " I bought one for my husband for his birthday and he like SOOOOOOOOOO loves it :):):):)" It's his favorite.
He hates it but the BJ's keep coming.
