Was in Denmark last week and was fortunate enough to have some time and kroner to spend at Bauhaus in Odense.

First up, some screw type extractors. I have a couple different styles already, including the square taper from Proto and the tapered-flute type from Rennsteig, but didn't actually own any of these. They seem ridiculously stout and have quite a lot of heft to them. Figured if I was going to get any, might as well buy nice ones.

I also came across this nice pack of saw blades, made by Bahco:

Would have liked to get a few other things, but space (and more importantly, weight) limitations with the luggage precluded it on this particular visit. Oh well, there's always next time.

You spent $19 on a snap on key ring? The kool-aid is strong!

That's what I was thinking

but then i priced a snap on 3/8 drive universal joint and it lists for $53.85 so, he might have done okay just getting the two halves and a couple of split rings for $19 :wtf:

I hope i'm not slow at the shop tomorrow, I might have to make a lessor brand version

On the flush cutters thread, someone recommended Swanstorm pliers. Picked these up for $13 shipped, and they are FREAKING AWESOME. I like these faaaaar more than the Snap On flush cuts. Bonus points for having matching handles as my snappys! They are made in the USA as well. :bounce:

These cut zipties way smoother and easier than the Snap Ons.

Also picked up the new pocket light on the SO truck and some more VIM magrails. New light is pretty handy, two different lights and a laser.

And last but not least, more VIM magrails.

That was me. Looks like you got a great deal... $65 cutters for $13 shipped! Those are relieved jaws too.

I've got their medical hard wire cutters. If my grandson and his girlfriend get their braces stuck together, I'll be able to separate them --haha!

Stopped in Menards for some PB Blaster and this jumped out at me because we're always looking for a magnifying glass around the house. This is actually well made for what it is. Only wish it had a tweezer for splinters.
$4.99 on clearance...

I've got a set of blue point JIS screwdrivers currently which I've never really gotten along with, thought these would be the perfect upgrade.

Didn't know BP made JIS drivers. Got a P/N or link?

ITCJIS - In the Flyer they RRP for £46.65 with out vat for a set of 4.

Much better options out there and they are hard to find now.

Interesting, thx. Google search shows that they are only avail overseas, and not very many places...

Got a Snap-on 29ACF crimper yesterday. It's my first set of "modern" Snap-on pliers. The grip is squishier than I expected. So far, I like it.

I also completed my set of Snap-on RSXSM metric speed / flare nut wrenches. It took about a year watching eBay to gather up all of them.

Got 2 of these with the new stainless steel top. I think they are good quality. About the same as harbor freight 44. I think I like the HF 44 drawer configuration better though, however these stainless tops are much better than rubber.

Channellock oil filter wrench and dykes.

Buy a bucket for $3 at FFH and get 20% off whatever you can fit inside. Got some roffles for the dog, rain gauge and some flavored stuffed olives for the wife.

This was on sale, a real bargain, I paid approx $10 and it's HUGE, almost 2 feet (well, 50 cm, to be fair and precise) from tip to toe. I wonder if I'm ever going to use it! [emoji23]e8b9aef57999f22c758e48517452248c.jpg

Yeah, you'll use it. Just give it some time. LOL
I noticed last week my only 1/4 fractional set was in the barn in my motorcycle tool box I'd also been wanting a simple bog standard 1/4 ratchet as currently all mine are stubby, flex head, bent handle etc etc. I was poking around ToolsDelivered and saw both Williams US and imported sets. I was going to grab the imported set since I'd prefer the smaller plastic clamshell but when I saw amazon had one last set of the US flavor for only $77 I had to go for it.
The metal box is HUGE! I would definitely prefer the plastic clamshell but I'm not complaining. What puzzles me is while the 3 smallest size sockets are 6pt, the rest are all 12pt. I guess I just don't get why you'd bother with 12pts in a general purpose set. Regardless, it us a VERY nice set and I cant wait to put it to use.

I ordered a brand new SK 1/4” socket set. Slowly replacing my Craftsman USA tools. I like having the option of carrying my tools in a blow molded case. Rails and trays ****.

Nice! I wish I still had the case my 3/8 SK metric set came in.
I also wish I had the imported Williams set with the plastic case. I got home, rearranged my top socket drawer with my 1/4 stuff . . . and the drawer won't close with it in the drawer. Well at $35 I may just buy the imported set. LOL

Ordered some Witte picks and some Channellock pliers from Ebay. The seller included a knife/tool sharpener as a surprise free gift. Never seen the brand or style of sharpener before but noticed that it was 'Made in the USA.'
