Scored a few things from my local pawn shop.

Matco long pattern flex ratcheting set in metric. Snap On terminal set and Ingersol Rand air dryer from the clearance table, brand new but wont power on. 250 out the door for everything. Opened the air dryer and the control panel fell off its pegs so pressing any of the buttons did nothing. Popped it back in place and used hot glue to secure it. Work perfectly.

I got this Permatex #24110 synthetic Ultra Brake Parts Lubricant 8 oz. to try in my Cornwell ratchets. It was only $10.66 at Advance Auto parts, I think my buddy working there gave me a discount. I can always use it for brake jobs too.

Won't be a everyday use item for me, bought them mainly to do brakes on my wife's car, getting to old to use Amish tools every day. After using this little power house I figured they were a good gamble at $60. Been really happy with all my Astro tool purchases so far.

I love my Astro stubby.

It's amazing how far a HD gift card goes on...Ryobi.

These are all new or warrantied within the last month. The one closest I just built last night it’s a #3 Phillips permanently installed in a ratchet driver. Bought both parts to make it brand new off the truck. I will be following up on that specific tool a bit later but I chose a #3 as my test mule in case I messed up. lol

Got this little tool/device from Amazon. It attaches to the original jack that came with my car and then just raise and lower it quickly using my cordless drill. Much easier and quicker than the handle that came with the car.

I'll be damned. Didn't know that existed. I bought a 16mm nut off eBay for $2 that I plan to weld to my jack. It is flatter and thicker than what you show. The hex is the same as my lug nuts and socket I keep on my impact gun that lives in the back of my truck cab. Have you actually raised the vehicle off the ground with a drill? Mine requires a lot of torque with a 5500lb truck so I figured I needed an impact.

200+ Tubes of caulk per charged battery!?

That's more caulk than I've ever used in my entire life.

Running behind on posting these. Trying to deal with local people on the various sales platforms has been a nightmare.

Starting with the Tsunoda zip tie pliers everyone has raved about. I got the common 150mm size and the new 125mm size. I like the 125 size even better for the zip ties I generally deal with.

Direct tools Outlet Labor Day sales on Ryobi "factory blemished." I've bought these before and the blemish is either extremely small or you can't find it.
jLkJvzy.jpg

The only blemish was on the trigger of the inflator and the rubber just above it. I could not find anything on the other two.

Also decided to expand into the M12 line for a few items I really wanted. Waiting on long reach ratchets and the install tool to be available, but in the meantime I got these all cheap locally. From the drill driver kit, the drill and the xc battery were both new. PO had only used the charger, 2.0 battery and driver. From the Hackzall kit, the charger and XC battery were new. He had used the saw and small battery on the same job as the driver. Both kits cost me $180 all together.

Also brand new in the box locally was the rarely seen 40:1 temp probe.

I have a few more NIB M12 tools arriving this week from Ebay and Offerup I'll post as they arrive.

New Metabo jigsaw. I mostly go cordless but this time i went corded as i think i'm unlikely to use far from a power source, i have a cordless recip saw for rougher outside work anyway. ALso half the price of a DeWalt cordless helped the decision.

What did the Ryobi blems run you? Must be a steal on sale, the bundles are so cheap new.

EDIT: Just checked out the site...a lot of it is the same price as new at HD. :dunno:

The inflator and cut out tool were $10 off HD prices each and the stapler was $50 during Labor Day weekend.

Dewalt 12 piece SAE ratcheting from Acme tools. $93 plus the 12% off and no tax.

be129e122c2c26cf03f014efcd5f927b.jpg

To be honest am kind of disappointed. Guess Stanley realized they made these too good the first go around. Comparing a 9/16 to a 14mm from 2014.

First they they took away ASD.

d1d08a1e91a5bc6f759f490218d43a46.jpg

Now they made the ratcheting mechanism fatter and the switch smaller.

9bcb0284d2e29ec8e8428d5fbef4b04c.jpg

Also looks like they made the open end more like a lobster claw. Here’s the 7/8 compared to a non ratcheting 7/8 that is a year old. Sorry not the best of pics.

Looks like I got what I paid for. Facom and Proto worth 3x? Maybe need to compare to Craftsman.

Yep, Dewalt mechanics tools' quality declined once SBD starting making Craftsman :wtf:

i even have 1/4 drive Dewalt sockets with that double detent style retention on the square drive. Not happy at all when i saw that.

The only thing decent in the current Dewalt mechanic's line up are the second generation 72 tooth pear head ratchets and the clones of the USAG round head ratchets.

The MX5 only weighs in the neighborhood of 2500 lbs and yes I did raise it with the Milwaukee drill.

The full polish wrenches are pretty nice, too.

Ok. I though it was a Mustang in the picture for some reason.

Same haha.

Picked up some HD scrapers from HF. Not bad for the price but had to sharpen them up. Looks like they skipped that step but after that they work great

A nice economical Ryobi bundle. Really excited about the router in particular.

Ordered One... thank you. I have been using a larger eye hook contraption that is NOT SAFE because it binds and pops out of the hole.

Just go to amazon and search "Jack Adapter"... several show up. I ordered the 1/2" variety... not sure if they come in 3/8"

Capri 11850-7MRK Super Thin Metric Open Ended Wrench Set

Bought this for a bunch of applications. Two off the top of my head are caliper slides (sometimes the sleeve spins and I can't get a regular wrench in there) and die grinder collets.
