e5978c7787704fd752ad16e4f44025f3.jpgThis is a very nice set for the occasional user I will not be using it on a daily basis. Daily use would of constituted a more expensive set.

I was looking for a very small basic tool set to keep in my car. I don’t want or need a large tool set, just something to change a battery or dealing with some trim screws. This Sunex 9732 kit looks like exactly what I wanted and includes torx bits for my VW. I like that the sockets are spline and cover up to 13mm or 1/2”. COO is Taiwan. $32 off Amazon. I also have a Gerber multi tool in the car to cover the potential need for pliers. I purchased a $30 Dewalt kit from Costco last week, but it is really a bigger kit than I wanted with sets of SAE and Metric sockets, so that will be getting returned. The Dewalt set does go up to 14mm or 9/16”, but doesn’t have any torx bits. COO Taiwan. The Dewalt set would make a good basic homeowner set for a non tool person.

After trying for 30 minutes with those stupid plastic “C” shaped clips and various other **** on a couple of Shark Bite fittings, I bought this “Tectite Push Fitting Removal Tool” and had them off in seconds. Simply amazing.

I ordered this from McMaster Carr last week, and it got lost in shipping. I have been working on a lot of Stihl chainsaws lately and I only had a screwdriver style torx bit that would work.

I was pleasantly surprised to see it was a Wiha, but then a little disappointed that it was made in Taiwan (or atleast part of it was) and has no Wiha marking on it anywhere.

I guess the important part was made in the U.S. so it's not all bad.

It will still be way better than using the hand driver.

Got tired of my 10" Craftsman Evolv adjustable wrench not doing everything I need it to, so ordered a Proto J712. Feels so much better than my Evolv, plus the size markings on the evolv were off/wrong, at least on the SAE side. It works fine for everything I tackle at home, but just isn't quite up to the job working on industrial water transfer pumps.

Whew, that couldn't have been cheap.

$400 on eBay. It is slightly used but all the pieces are there. One annoying thing is that it appears that the previous owner never even installed the geese fitting. The threads on the ram have some slight galling from running dry but it still runs smooth and will be greased with me of course.

Every piece but was talking about the forcing screw. There's also a marble sized ball bearing inside of it that the adapter rides on that helps keep from wearing also.

Oh, you’re saying you had to warranty the forcing screw? Gotcha. It’s a beast of kit.

Yep it got called to much so if yours gets to bad it can be replaced. It's a beast of a kit for sure the shop one gets abused by 4 of us and at least once a week if not more.

My friend who sells and repairs new and used pressure washers made this up for me, a 4 GPM 4,000 PSI 13 HP Honda-engine, General pump (Italian manufacture) pressure washer. A Giant pressure gun, and a 50 ft hose. It works great. We have coquina stone on our house entry, and since this is the steamy sub-tropics (Miami FL), things get flora quickly when it's hot and wet. Fortunately, the pressure washer now takes-care of this, and I'm tempted to sell the electric Craftsman unit I have.

Motion Pro Hydraulic Brake Bleeder.

It's a very small check valve type bleeder valve which I purchased for bleeding the front disc brake on my Harley.

oooh, you get he extendomatic version too

I was late to the m12 game so when I decided to jump in they had just announce the extended ones. Only made sense to wait at that point. I'll decide after using this one if I want extended for 1/4 and 1/2 as well.

Upgraded to these up last week. They're replacing an old Titan Combination Wrench Set. I'm in wrench heaven right now.

UPS dropped this off today. Precicison instruments 1/2" 40-250 ft lb torque wrench. First split beam style torque wrench for me. It will stay on 95 ft lbs most of its life besides the occasional mold that needs the clamps torqued to 120.c3392272893e6c80cb17feeafaaf7f7e.jpg

Thats a nice torque wrench. How many teeth does the ratcheting head have?
