Well, if you're just raising and lowering the car to change a tire, it's probably true, that fine adjustment isn't needed. If you use the jack to raise and lower and engine or subframe or other assembly to line something else up so you can shove a few bolts in place, having a fine adjustment can be helpful. But maybe I'm going about it all wrong.

I mean, all cars get you from point a to point b right? It's about how they do it.
The DK13HLQ goes from 3.15" to 29" ; that alone is unmatched.
Being able to lower precisely opens up different ways of tackling jobs.
I have the long reach 13 and have the opposite experience as you. I have much better control with my 2T Hein Werner. Maybe I need to work on my technique, but I have no issue with the HW.
And yes, the 13 takes a lot of force on the handle to lift a vehicle. I feel like I'm going to break the plastic portion.

You’re gonna love it, it’s my most favorite 1/4 ratchet (and 3/8 compact) no one ever tells you how thin the heads are on these things.

I really like those screwdrivers and didn't know these existed. I have some other screwdrivers of the same style, called Opticraft made by Sora. I've never seen them with a bit holder though, so I had to get a set as soon as I saw it in your post. The color is cool too.got a few more things for work. pardon the locks in the background

I decided to pick up a Snap On A2A 3/8 Female to 1/2 Male adapter so I can use it on my long 3/8 ratchets. I only have a single raised panel Craftsman 1/2 ratchet right now, but plenty of 3/8 drive. Should work for me until I find the right 1/2 ratchet at the right price.
Oh and who doesn't want to use a 24mm socket on a 3/8 converted t936...

To answer your question, the 3/8" square drive in a 1/4" ratchet, combined with a 21mm or 24mm (or any size above 19mm) is the absolute smallest combination of 21mm socket that you can get in very tight spaces. I converted a TLLF72 over to 3/8 for this purpose.

you're posting snap-on, which is the king of all kings of over priced tools.I'm not sure what you're even implying; as if you can see some inherent function from a picture.
For what its worth, the Tone ratchets are marked Made in Japan.
They are similar looking to Blackhawk ratchets (less selection); and similar looking ratchets come from OEM Newtools/Hi-Five out of Taiwan.
I asked Tone point blank via email if their tools are Made in Japan, and they certified they are 100% made in Osaka and sent me a video of their factory.

Okay, now THAT'S pretty cool. Is there any way you could share the video, is it on Youtube or something? I'm not familiar with Tone but I'll start looking for them now.
Just keep in mind, I'm pretty sure Tone does have a lot of stuff made in Taiwan from what I've seen posted on here. They do seem to be generally well liked though.

I should clarify, I didn't ask them if 100% of their tools are made in Japan, I asked them if the tools marked Japan are made 100% in Japan; to which they certified they were.
I was asking them specifically regarding their RMA400L wrench set, because they had visual similarities to what Hi-five was making.
If you are interested in Japanese tools, look up Koken, Nepro/KTC, and Merry tools.
