Needed a regulator for air brushing. I will be at my bench when I air brush... the need for a portable regulator was created. I had that billet clamp... it had tapped holes... I bought the regulator... bought a better/bigger dial gauge... fabricated an adapter to attach the two.

Sata 3 pc line wrench sets off Amazon. Little wrench at bottom is a 6mm/8mm Hong Fu that I picked up for a couple bucks so I could hit the $25 minimum for free shipping.

Carlyle makes an excellent pair of slip joints that are similar. Diamond knurling at the tips and all. I’ve torn some stuff apart with them and the jaws are so hard you couldn’t even tell. No marring. I love them.

61CF 8in Duck Bill Pliers

i-Rrsc4Jd.jpg

I’ve got those Duck Bill Pliers too. Picked them up on a deal here in the U.K.

Absolutely awesome tool! You get both reach and leverage in the same tool, giving you a really strong grip. I have another pair, but these are way better.

I find I use them for all manner of things I never thought about. I was using them 2 days ago while sorting out the wiring in a bathroom refurb. Perfect for tightening earthing straps that are buried away!

Picked up a set of Wiha SoftFinish torx drivers. I don't really need them as a already have a partial set and some Craftsman and SKs also, but couldn't pass them up for the price. I was also tempted by a sale on NWS pliers but was able to resist.

I got a Wiha screwdriver set for Christmas. Have to say, it’s quite the step up from my Craftsman’s. Think you will really like them.

From Jens Putzier, 1/2" drive 18mm, 20mm, 21mm and 23mm Hazet. His pricing on Hazet items is amazing. This was my second order with him. Took 7 days to get to my door with the same shipping cost as any other website would charge.

Metric? Darn won't work for me.

Metric marks on one side to 29mm, inches on the other up to 1 1/8". I used it yesterday. Worked like a champ to crack the tie rod assembly loose and retighten the new one. The midsize knipex push button pliers that are 6in or so came in handy once it was initially loosened. When will the next time I use it be, who knows, but it saved me a lot of headache and not being a toolbox space hog

The Channellocks are super grippy! Love the diamond knurling on them.

The Carlyle is a copy of the Channellock 548. Channellock made them for decades but recently discontinued the whole line (516, 546, 548, 5410, 537). Napa has them made cheaply overseas and sells them for more than the original Channellocks that were made in the USA. The price at Napa is around 1 1/2 times the price of the Channellocks. Seems to be so common today that lower cost China/Taiwan manufacturing replaces American manufacturing but the prices remain the same or increase.

I picked up the 516, 546, 548 and 5410. I'm missing the 537 from the series.

The pro stick has to be one of my favorite lights! Also: I have for the longest time thought it was odd that you can only get a cordless ratchet from Mac but not DeWalt, considering batteries interchange and Milwaukee has no trouble selling cordless ratchets.

Wow I had no clue. I love the quality of everything Carlyle I bought so far, but I always prefer knipex first, then channelock. But since knipex slip joints aren’t my style, I would go channelock here in a heartbeat. Those look great. Maybe I’ll find some of those if I can if I ever buy a different size.
