Finally, a complete set of Made in the USA wrenches. I think they will serve me well. b98cbdd3a312d74db84cec96a0874a9a.jpg492fbc52d231088cec9e5d73ba5e9257.jpg488fb6f2f01ce4304d257ab16547d48a.jpg

Looks like I have the same set as you.
Just don’t put them on anything too pretty, the teeth are aggressive.
I have powder coating on my toe rod adjustments. And some other show type stuff. Can’t use them.

At home , I have Wright wrenches to to 1”
And old 1960-70s C-man to 19mm
But occasionally at home I’ve needed a larger wrench.
So I ordered the large ICON wrench sets that go to 1 1/4” and 24mm

Now I need a new spot for my special wrenches, running out of room.

Awesome, I bought the metric set last year. Awesome wrenches, some of the nicest I've ever used.

Well there's your problem right there, you're trying to jam your metric and fractional all together into one drawer! LOL

I've mostly been buying pipe insulation and wood for some plans that are only in the conceptual phase at the moment and small engine spring cleaning (oil changes, fogging oil, couple carb rebuilds). However I did grab a Milwaukee tape and I gotta say it is really nice. There may be a few more in my future.

Made a trip to the Richmond Woodcraft and came home with a few Festool goodies...

Most excited for the Kapex stand. The MFT/3 is going to be nice for sheet good breakdown. And the Mobile Workshop kit to store my TS55 and Domino. Finally getting a decent woodworking setup. Now I can punt my old Craftsman compound sliding miter saw in the trash and get rid of a few work tables.

That stand makes the Kapex shine. In case you didn't know the wings for the stand will clamp on to the MFT if you need the added support.the mobile workstation is next on my list.

I just set up the table on the Mobile Workstation and I can already see this will be a game changer for working in different areas around the house. I may need to buy another Workstation specifically for my Domino. That way I can have my Systainer that holds Dominos and the Knockdown sets all in one place and mobile.

They aren't here yet but I'll post up because the sale goes on for a few more days and doubtlessly one of you fellow junkies needs a fix. Amazingly, I stumbled across them on a car site, not here. Which just goes to prove the entire internet is a dangerous place! :p Anyway, once I saw them I knew I must have them because they would have made my life much easier multiple time in the past. Made in Taiwan.

Flare Nut Crow Foot Sockets. I bought both the SAE and Metric. No skips!

Picked both of these up semi-recently, had been on my list but was too busy look for good deals. Finally came across a couple and scooped them up.

Matco BFR88:

Been wanting to try one of these for a while. Only Matco that I own so far, but I might buy more if this one holds up. I like the handle shape and the small head on this one, compared to other fine tooth ratchets I've used.

Snap-On F830:

Whether it's for the pure nostalgia or the low back drag, sometimes I like to use the old school, coarser ratchets like these. The F830 was on my list for a while, but I had trouble finding one that wasn't beat to hell. This one appears about as mint as it gets, and the drive end looks to have never had a socket on it. Even still had the tag.

A few new goodies!! US General 5 drawer cart, a much needed upgrade. Also finally entered the DeWalt 20v Max platform with this DCD996 hammer drill. Then a lil Craftsman pancake compressor, and an extra long handle 1/4” Gearwrench 120xp

Lol, with that many adjustables you could have bought a few nice sets of wrenches that actually fit exactly lol.

My wife's family has a vacation home and the family gave me a budget to buy a bunch of tools to finish the basement and perform general repairs while I'm here. I ordered all Dewalt power tools because it's what I have at home and it's what I'm comfortable with. For hand tools, I went with all Tekton because (as you said) I was able to get exactly and only what I needed all from one source.

Everything arrived and I've been very impressed with almost everything. The grind on the needle nose pliers leaves a little to be desired but I have a pair of Channelocks at home that are no better.

I'm really impressed with the locking pliers. It's the first pair I've ever used with the "squeeze to release" mechanism. I hope everything works out for you.

First American ratchet for me. Williams B53-A. The few parts it consists of are all well made, and I think above what I would expect for only 35 dollars. Only complain is the ample backdrag....

Phoenix Contact Crimpfox Duo 10 (Pressmaster made, but possibly exclusive to PC) ferrule/end sleeve crimper with trapezoidal crimp.

Every time I get my hands on a crimper or stripper I really like, it turns out to be a pressmaster. They make great production electrical tools
