Picked up a new torque wrench. I need to torque a bunch of bolts in a range that my current lineup was lacking.

I have the same one. I ordered it about a year ago, and I only found it from talking directly with Precision as it isn't listed on their website. Not sure how people would ever know it exists.

When I got it, I was disappointed to see the open end.
If you look at some of the older photos of their split beam wrenches wrenches in the past, they came with a plug.

I recommend going to AceHardware and getting a black plastic plug for the end.
It only costs like a buck or so and, IMO, it makes the wrench look better and more finished.

Very nice. I like that, I'll have to stop at ace and see what they have. Do you remember what size you got?

I don't remember. I took the wrench in and got one that fit.
I went through the sizes till I found the one that fit.
They had black plastic ones, chrome ones, and black chrome ones.
I went for the black plastic. I liked the look and it seemed to have the most flush fit with the tube as the metal ones added a slight lip since the cap was just slightly larger than the tube.

After working on my tractor recently... I realized I really needed a seat/dolly for my fat ***. So I bought the ProLift C-9100, specifically for those of us with a Fat ***.

PROLift%20C-9100.jpg

Had to show the TWO tools included with the PROLift... a 6mm hex wrench, 17mm stamped wrench... OH the Irony on that.

What was actually needed.
Four BOLTs required two 13mm wrenches to tighten.
Two Casters required a 17mm wrench AND an 18mm Cone Wrench
Four Casters required a 6mm longer than 4 inches Hex Wrench AND that 18mm Cone Wrench.

Would love to hear from anybody that HAS this seat... and your take on the included tools.

If they included a STAMPED 18mm... I would have been happy... since many do not own cone wrenches.

Needed them to build a stand for a friend to stack water totes.

They sure are nice. Much better than the poster board that I used to use as a template.

Couldn’t pass up the deal I got on this new Cornwell SRF80L. 80 tooth 27” long. Looks like the same head as Matco 88 tooth ratchets. Very nice ratchet. Haven’t seen any talk about Cornwell’s 80 tooth ratchets.

Ok... Astro Pneumatics has a ratcheting wrench for use with their Nano Sockets... 17mm x 22mm. Very NICE but... short... if i'm going thru the trouble to wrench with the nano sockets... I want leverage.

So I started eating some popcorn (in my new OIL-LESS microwave popcorn bowl).

PopCORN.JPG

Popcorn helps me think...

I decided, I will look for a LONGER alternative... before realizing... I ONLY own the 1/2" Nano(s)... meaning I only need the 22mm... Found this Gearwrench XL 22. Ratchetting on one end zero bend on the other. A match made in heaven. 17" long too...

I took this picture before adding glitter RED nail polish to the stampings.

Probably because nobody knows about them. Certainly the first i've heard of a new Cornwell ratchet. Is the cover plate held on with a snap ring and is there any USA Made on it? If it really looks like a Matco with no USA i'd be concerned they're switching to Gearwrench ratchet heads.

I very much like that color scheme.......how are the master force cabinets?

Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

I love it. I've already added the 36" cabinet. Drawer action is very smooth. It's built better than the Craftsman I just sold, but I will say that Craftsman had a nice drawer layout as far as drawer sizes and vertical drawer depths. I think drawer size is a personal thing, what you need to store, what tools you have. I'll add the 36" top and I'll be done. I can recommend Masterforce.

Sold my old 44" HF and bought this Homak 72" off of Summit. Super nice box for the money, there are a few things I do not like but it will do the job. Now, I just need to order the stainless top for it.

After many years of debate and procrastination, we finally bit the bullet on a generator. Will have it plumbed into the house panel soon:

Are you sure you want to use that? Plenty of used 3/4 horse grinders to be had but not many in the box [emoji15][emoji15][emoji24]

There was a NIB 1/3 HP Craftsman block grinder on CL here in Rochester a week ago. $45. It didn't last long.

You better ask for your money back.

Why would anyone sell or buy half a horse?

:):):)

I totally get that... my half horse block was ok.. my 3/4 on pedestal stand is even better and I want to find a 1hp for sure! The half would be pretty cool just to have on your shelf for bragging rights! I can’t remember how many torqueman has of the nos ones but I want to say it was around 15?

Grabbed a few Wera Rapidators. Definitely my favorite bit holder. They are a bit chunky, but they work great.

I agree. I have several of all three sizes. Every hand or power screwdriver in the house has one on it. For the few times they are too "chunky" to fit the job, I just use a simple slim magnetic bit holder.

I have about a six year old Generac that looks a lot like that. Are you going to do the house wiring yourself? If so, what's a trusted source for do it yourself information?

Curious as to the benefit of them in an impact driver? Is it because they are magnetic? My Milwaukee impact holds bits pretty tight, but am always open to better methods!

This will not be a DIY electrical install for me. I'm having a pro do it. I looked into it but I want it done right and to code. I "could" do it, but just don't want to on this one.

Going with a manual lock-out plate at the breaker box and running the line out the back of the house through the exterior wall. This will put the socket about 25 feet from my shed so I can wheel the unit right out and plug it in.

Lots of info on the web for DIY, some good some not so good.

Yes. I've done some looking. Not enough yet. I hope it works out for you. Sounds like you know what you want and how to get there. Thanks.

I only use them currently for non-impact use. I would look into the Wera Impaktor bit holder for impact use.

For using bits that don't fit into my impact? I guess I am just not understanding why i would add more complications to the system. All the bits I use on my impact are specifically for impact use, what does the impaktor stuff gain me?

Nice!! Almost picked up the zero offsets earlier this week on promo but I guess I'm still waiting on my ktc set from Frank's tools, is 9 months long enough of a wait to start bitching? 🤣
