My "Big Red" parts washer showed up today from Amazon, it was a return so that knocked the price down to $57. I knew it was small, especially compared to the 20 gallon I used to have access to but it will work perfect for my current needs. I'm going to see if an inductive hot plate will work for heating it to cut grease more effectively.

How long is that? Mines 5" 4749P with a rebuild kit from a torque wrench. Very convenient. Just remember it's not the size that counts. So long as it turn your bolts and nuts.
Dang, that thing should be called a stubby fatty 3/8.

Ratchets that fit the palm are a treat, so much faster and can get in where others cant.

This little guy has been awesome.

I have the Jeggs version of the same washer. Works for me using their house brand parts cleaner, what are you going to use? I did add a hose and brush, makes it a lot easier to use.

I guess this should have been directed at you, LOL!

And you made me order one, still hasn't arrived, I have long thought of cutting a ratchet down but never did, now I don't have too.

I think I need a parts washer. Please post your results after you've used it a while. Thanks!!

The one I pictured is a 1/2"

The 3/8" is yet one smaller. Its a 3/8" in a 1/4" stubby body.

Where did you order it from?

Tone ratchet + Ko-ken extension + Ko-ken Nutgrip socket

This.

New top and bottom boxes.

Nice! How do you like those Williams boxes? I was just looking at that same box in the catalog the other day. Does the box come with the same locking drawer retention as the Snap On Classic series boxes do? What are your thoughts on the casters that come with it?

They're pretty much identical to the Snap On heritage boxes with a different drawer trim color. Made in the same factory and even though the drawer slides are rated less than the Snap On the part numbers on them are the same as my KRA2007. Don't really roll my box around the shop much and only on smooth concrete so I can't really comment on the casters.

Needed a set of wheel chocks. Grabbed these on Amazon. Solid rubber, won’t slide on my RaceDeck floor. 3c197a694b9281d7d3cf09f17f322713.jpg3c2fd4c2e6de5bec8a649b5515ff06ba.jpg

Prime Day deal arrived.

Wiha precision screwdrivers. I've got a lot of good larger screwdrivers but am always frustrated using the cheap small ones I've got. These look really nice.

I did about 10 years repairing laptops. My Wiha PH0 of that style repaired (very roughly) 18,200 laptops and still works fine. They are pretty good drivers.

K-tool is scam site. One man drop ship company doesn't answer email or phone number. I ordered this meter from their site first but after a week and no update I tried to cancel. Still waiting for the PayPal dispute to refund me.

I ordered this meter again from true tech and got it within a week or so.
OK, I'll bite... Why?

Nice meter

That *****, but thanks for letting us know.

When I think DMM's, I think Tequipment.net. Legit with authentic product, competitive pricing, and fast shipping. I don't see saving $5 or whatever is worth the trouble of ordering elsewhere.

Picked up a used KRSC246. (Same as current KRSC242 but stripped down. No speed drawer, no accessories panel, no power)

Added the large HF folding shelf. And a can rack. It's a beast of a cart.

Picked up this Baldor Tool grinder off of Offer Up for $500. I’ve been looking for years. It needed to be a great deal to justify how much use it will get. It seems to have hardly been used and minor surface rust is all cosmetic. Really excited!
Before and in progress cleaning pictures here.

So last weekend's project was to build a wardrobe for the wife, and I got this Dewalt drill. (I really didn't need it, but what the heck this is garage journal) it's one of my first battery tools and Dewalt's first I'm thinking of getting an impact for Christmas.

I strongly recommend start thinking of what you will be building for your wife with the new impact so that your Christmas wish will come true.
