How quiet is that?

Very impressive! I don't have much reference, but you can easily have a conversation next to it

I just got some Milton V Quick connects for it, as the stock ones ****. The main complaint is the cheap regulator and manifold, mine seem okay though

Haha you will need that 20mm if you work on any mid 80s Ford Suspension stuff fortunately for me I have about 6 20mm sockets and a wrench as well.

Yeah I got the Ridgid cordless saw back in spring, it is SO NICE not having to deal with stupid 3' cords, hell not having to deal with ANY cords at all. Worth every penny paid, especially when I'm not working in the garage. Makes me want to go get on one of their cordless hand sanders as well, especially after running my buddy's old corded Craftsman belt sander on the front porch for about half the summer.

Been using the Clic glasses for years. Using them right now to type this.
Have at least ten pairs all over the shop, house and in the cars.

Picked up a set of Vampliers.. used to extract broken off and / or stropped slot/phillips screws.. I could have used them twice at least last weekend. Found them thru ToolGuyD. Look to be precision made in Japan....

I've got a set of these and they're very nice. This week a buddy had his pontoon boat in my shop to strip the old plywood floor off of it... had to be 250 screws, and at least 100 were corroded beyond getting a philips bit to work, so had to be taken out by hand. We had two guys working, so one was using a small vise grips. The vise grips were so much faster and easier to handle. :( There has to be a great use for these, but for me it's not the tool to take out stripped and broken screws.

I assume your posting pics but I cant see them for some reason :dunno:
I removed the "s" from the Imgur-provided link (https-->http) - this site is really fluky for image links...

I can see the pic of the Lang 971 Thread Repair Kit (so it's in my cache or whatever). No idea what else to do... :(

Very excited to get this mounted up. $85 on sale

Chinese hose has a very funny smell, I might get high if it doesn't finish off-gassing soon

I wasn't to sure where to post this but here is a small set of 1/4 sockets I put together from several different sources. that will suit me well for smaller work. 6mm to 15mm

Some are new Koken nut grip, Some new Koken deep and regular sockets.

I found cleaning out my dad's stuff after he passed a nice assortment of Thorsen sockets

USA made Craftsman that I bought in 1978

2 1/4 extensions, 1 Snap On & 1 MAC for $5 from Charlie's 2nd Hand Tools

2 1/4 swivels, 1 Proto & 1 Thorsen

1/4 ratchet that I bought in 1978 that became stuck 30 yrs ago and due to GJ, I took it apart, cleaned and lubed and now works perfectly

1/4 flex head Tekton cuz I wanted to see what their products were like, it's good

Thanks,
Griff

Brand and model number, please.

GEARWRENCH 35 Pc. 1/4" Drive MicroDriver Set - 85035

I picked it up last June from Amazon for about $12 and keep in in my desk drawer at work for minor things around the office.

Check a camel camel camel type site as pricing changes frequently. I got it so low because the extremely low price was posted somewhere last June.

Well, it's only new to me and it's only half the tool but I scored a 1.5hp single phase motor for my buffer for $35. It was a refugee from a Delta table saw that was tipped over and busted the cast mount. I'll go through it like any other old power tool that follows me home and make it good as new. The TEFC design is particularly important as it's not belt drive, just a spindle mounted right onto the shaft.

I remember going from a small portable tool box to my first large tool box purchase and how I realized how much empty space I had to fill. Wow! Did that empty my wallet

Toyota RWD front wheel bearing locknut socket. No idea where mine went to. $59 shipped from Jeffstools. Better than $95 before tax Snap-On would charge me for the exact socket.

Just Got a pair of Dewalt 9ah flexvolt batteries, i liked the extra run time on the 6’s so I’m hoping these are a nice upgrade. They seem a little heavy for smaller hand tools but i really plan to use them in the table and miter saw.

What are out thoughts on this box now that you have it filled and running. I bought one and I am not sure what I think. It is better than my 80's Craftsman box but I like my Cornwell tool cart better. The drawers are pretty nice.
