I always wanted to learn how to weld. So, here we go! Small weld in first weld pic is the first weld I’ve ever done. The longer welds in the next pic are welds I did after about 20 minutes of practice. Obviously, I’ve got a long way to go. I’m having fun though.

What welding table is that?

Fein JMU 137-2QW. It came with a very nice 3/4 Weldon Rohm three jaw chuck. Two speed gear box and electronic variable speed in those two gear ranges. Reverse is a momentary pushbutton. Should work really well for tapping. It’s about 50 pounds lighter than the Milwaukees with similar features and it’s everything I’ll need in a mag drill. Excited to put it to use!

I had this on the wish list for a while, and Amazon let me know it was on fire sale for ~30% off, even according to camelcamelcamel. This is super fun and it is really sensitive. It can even pick up the heat from your footprints when you step on the carpet.

Been eyeing this for a while. Don’t know if it’s a gimmick or legit, but had to get it. Currently using the Kobalt ones from Lowe’s. This is mega smooth operating compared to kobalt. Guess I’ll see if they are worth it as I start using them. 125cf4498f8fac0efc4420152b7bcd1d.jpg035814e1946db5f4a171e83c576d3dfd.jpgc35e03ea0bad3838c2e4c6c2f2f91f71.jpg

These have been discussed in Tool of or From Japan, that are highly regarded.

Picked up a few tools that have been on my to get list,
Harbor freight 1000lb hyd cart, been wanting to get one for a while.
Ridgid #10 extractors, these actually work really well
Fuller brad point bits, made in usa, hss finally got a good set
DeWalt inverter to mount in my work truck, goes with the dwalt system
Been using the hyd cart 1 day & I may have to get another, 1st thing I did was take the 5th wheel hitch out & roll it to the shed, goes about an inch higher than the bed on my F350.

Dodgie.

Where did you get the Warrior cordless power cutter? Is that the one with the serrated round cutting wheel that runs against a fixed edge?

If so, that are the cat's *** for opening that horrific clamshell packaging. Seriously, cuts it like butta and keeps your damn fingers the hell away from any sharp edge.

Model number, price and from where?? Thanks!

Finally got my gear wrench 81264T 90 tooth long handled 3/8 drive ratchet. Ordered it a couple months back when amazon had it for 21$ on pre order. I posted some pictures to compere to my Armstrong maxx access 88tooth ratchet. The gears and pawls are interchangeable so this also seems the same as the matco ratchets. Only difference is the cover plate is cutout a bit different. Even the gunmetal color of the selector switch is the same as the Armstrong which always seemed unique. The matco selector is a bit different.

Thickness is about the same as the Armstrong maybe a little thicker real close to the sk ratchet.

Back drag is a little lighter than the Armstrong and quite a bit lighter than the SK.

Handle is a bit more better to use than the SK but not as nice as the Armstrong. I prefer to have a thicker grip on ratchets. Overall I guess this is one of the better budget friendly ratchets on the market so long as you can get a good deal on it. Needed a green laser for work around home, as I'm tired of bringing my hilti home from work. These seemed to get good reviews and the quality seems decent upon first inspection. Huepar:. ba7d96ce7975bad3ea29199aa8923272.jpg

The wife bought me an extra 3.0AH Dewalt battery. Been trying to stock up since I went 5 years with just 2 1.5AH batteries. Up to 3 now, still need some 5 or 6AH batteries. Also had some scotchbrite wheels and flap wheels show up for my die grinder.

BendPak XPR-10S was delivered and installed today. Electrician will be here tomorrow to wire it up. Can’t wait to get the Jeep on it and get to work. I want to recognize Robert Cook at Trendar Equipmemt in Dallas for his excellent work. Super friendly guy and knows what he is doing. Thanks Robert.

Ellis 1600. I’ve had the Walker Turner for a few years. LWS had better price than I could find online. And, they had it in stock.

Folding cart for various things in the garage...mostly for washing the cars so the products don't sit on the ground. I chose it because I can fold it up when not in use. 446c95c8a4872f35fffbcb846073763e.jpgc96c92cead10d37128a0bd36ba5db717.jpgff9b8a1142468638d866f3e5cd33d2c2.jpg

That looks very useful, especially for those of us will very limited shop space. Please post your opinions of it once you have had a chance to use it.
