Just picked up this Rotary Bender from Facebook. Never heard of JA Richards but looks like they made some pretty cool multiform benders. This appears to be a duplicate of a Diacro #2 even the same capacity specs. Came with a box of dies and jigs. The guy said he paid $1800 new and only used it for two jobs. I gladly gave him $450.

While making the garage door track hangers, I broke the tip off one of my step drill bits. So the other day as I was looking though some bins at FFH, I came across these two packs, on sale 2/$20. I figured I would try them as mostly what I use them on is sheet metal or thin gauge stuff.

Nice! What are the brand/model of the white nail-in holders? Haven't seen those before but they look pretty nifty. Nice selection of tools!

Have the same set. Love it. So useful! Have their set of *****/centre punches too - also very useful. What's the model # on the 8" set? Didn't know they made one (but not surprised).

Thanks!

No idea on brand / model... we just call them stackers for running romex.

Astro Tools 1834 1/2" Nano Flex-Head Angle Impact Wrench. It came yesterday. Amazon briefly dropped the price and I grabbed it. I have a few projects in mind for it once the weather gets warmer and the snow disappears.

I picked up a cheap Japanese block plane on Amazon. I had been looking for a somewhat inexpensive way to get into hand tool woodworking, and these types of planes seem to be a good start. This one has been fun to tinker with so far. That hand tool woodworking is definitely a different type of rabbit hole lol.

15mm in standard and semi depth, and a 16mm, in 1/4" drive from SK. I don't necessarily need them, but they're available, so I want them. The 16mm I already know I'll use on a particular Ford platform.

Just got these today, look to be handy for fit up work. Might have to order a second set, seems like having 8 would be a plus and they're cheap.

Kobalt 18mm impact. None of my impact sets had an 18mm. I had a deep I bought when Sears closed but I wanted a shallow for the project I done today on the Escape. The shallow made more work space. I was going to get the Craftsman since it was also Taiwan made but it had that plastic hanger on it where as this one had the bag. I always hurt myself on the plastic hangers trying to get them off.

Snap on Torch 400. It’s a butane torch but I’m running fuel from a Jetboil camping fuel canister that has isobutane/propane so it burns a lot hotter.

I haven’t really added anything in the past couple weeks so I added a couple screwdrivers. Of course they’re Orange Hard Handle and of course they are custom made. I have already used the stubby with the longer shaft and it actually works well and should be useful.

The snap on torch has a butane port on the bottom. Just buy this adapter and a fuel canister to fill it.

Got a package today from Harry Epstein...
Vaughn 16oz hammer
Wright Spark plug sockets 13/16 and 5/8
Wright 3/8 universal adapter
SK 3/8 drive 13 piece SAE socket set.

Hammer is going in my road box. Sockets are going in my garage box, replacing equivalent Craftsman sockets which are going to the road box. Haven’t used my SAE stuff much lately, but never know when I may need them.

Some recent acquisitions and birthday presents. :)

Koken 1/2" dr double swivel

Koken 3/8" dr chrome double swivel

Miniware TS80P soldering iron. (This thing is swweeeeeeetttt)

SO Super Shallow 3/8" Drive Metric Socket Set

Stahlwille magnetic pick up tool. This is hands down the best magnetic pick up tool thing I've ever used. The tiny magnet is incredibly strong (picked up a 38mm impact socket no issue) and the wire is very flexible.

Been wanting to try a Mac Axis ratchet, so picked up an 18" long 3/8" drive version.

Found this 24" long SK locking 1/2" dr impact extension for $17 on amazon. USA made. I'm 99.999% positive SK, Snap On, Matco, etc. are all using the same manufacturer for locking impact extensions.

Wera Hex plus bits

Stubby SO Ratcheting driver with an extra long shaft. Had every other length shaft, so my dealer gave me the longest one to complete the set.

Some SO offset metric wrenches

Some titanium and plastic cleaning sticks from County Comm.

Mini greaser

Tried Jersey Discount Tool's Milwaukee boots. They must be using who ever makes all the tool truck boots...these are top quality and offered in different styles. I've always liked the textured black style boots even though they are a bit harder to clean.

And now my favorite recent acquisitions...I've become a PB Swiss ***** after picking up a ratcheting driver and falling in love with the Swiss Grip handle and swiss quality. (All made in Switzerland) All of this was ordered during the black friday promo and I finally got the last of my order last week. Well worth the wait!

Flat head screw drivers. I got the hex bolsters on the larger sizes.

Philliips/JIS screwdrivers with bolsters on the larger sizes. These are their newer style where the driver is dimensioned to meet JIS spec as well as Philips.

Metric ball hex

Security torx

Parallel punches

Chisels

Valve stem tool

Carbide scribe

Center punch

#2 Philips bits

Thanks for that, I'm going to try this in my Torch 300 instead of the butane I've been using...

It was the last one. The listing now says out of stock and the price has jumped to $106.

All of this stuff is new within the past week or so. Left the one rail of sockets at home for a project on the go.

And I forgot to get this guy in there with everything else.

Thanks for the tip on the Jetboil mixed fuel. Didn't know I could gas up my torch with it. I use a Jetboil for tailgating at my ski hill -- just FYI Walmart Sells the large Coleman branded butane/propane canisters for $9 in-store.

I very much doubt it. When those started popping up on Ebay they didnt fit anything exactly right. On some tools they completely enclose the cooling vents (m12 die grinder). They want 2/3 the price of the real boot (still expensive) and they dont even fit correctly. Even on the impact in your photo the cut-outs have been lazily done so they dont match the vents. Someone is making those out of their home shop for sure.

The Jetboil/MSR ones are $10 in any outdoor/camping store also. Never buy those from Amazon.

Strong hand welding clamp, 2 5/8-11 arbor flap disks, Hobart welding pliers, some “Miller compatible” Hobart tips that don’t fit my Miller, 16’ Bauer tape measure, 3 piece set of Hercules step drill bits, and a US General surge protector.

Got me my first 8.0 battery (just in case my 9.0 happens to die). Didn't really need the CP3.0 but for the price it was worth it.

Vinyl jaw protectors. They come in handy for me sometimes. Had them for my RoboGrips back then. I was expecting to see more cheap generic options these days but not much available, unless my google fu has failed me. But I suppose there would be issues making universal-ish ones.

Thanks for turning me onto these jaw protectors. Been looking for something like this including on Knipex's site and could never find anything. There's not really many great options for soft jaw pliers and the few times I need something like that these would work just as well if not better. Hopefully they have them in different sizes!

No problemo.

I never knew they existed, they popped up in my ebay feed one day. Been in my cart but I just never got around to buying them for some reason.

I searched for other sizes but it seems like they're only available for the 10" Cobras/Alligators. They do also have em for the Pliers Wrench but not sure if they'll be handy for me so I didn't buy em.

These look handy. I would use them frequently. I priced them on Amazon at $11.64, but also noticed they were being sold on Amazon by Bowers Tool Company. Bowers is a new find for me, and the Knipex vinyl protectors are $9.99 there (free shipping with >$49 order). Bowers has decent prices, the owner is a very nice gentleman to talk to, and they specialize in made in the USA tools, plus a couple of German tool companies (Felo and Knipex).

Bowers Tool Co. brands page. A high quality tools store.
