So my Leatherman c33 broke the tip by prying it off, and I decided to try something a little bigger, Spyderco tenacious

That's awesome! You should have some fun with that.

Thanks!
Having a little bit of fun since it was delivered around 2 today.
Getting used to the loader and trying to make sure the bucket is level or tilted downward slightly is kinda aggravating. hahha
Guess I need the level indicator rod for some help.

The forks worked dang good to move some stumps and a pile of brush/limbs.
It was fun "flipping/flinging" them off the end. lol

Picked up a nice vise with a Menards rebate. Not sure if I showed the reel and flexzilla hose from last week. These are for the addition

IMG_4432.jpgSo the Bosch Orbital Sander is garbage. It actually heats up and the variable speed doesn’t work. I finished what I was doing I’ll be it slower than what I expected, but I did complete it. Since during moderate use it was a failure, tomorrow it goes back.
The Chinese stamps from Amazon are a win. Inexpensive yet they actually work.

I ordered these from Ackland's. The price was surprisingly low which made up for the shipping.

New tool roll:
Lx1Oss.jpg

Somewhere I mentioned I'd ordered this and a couple folks asked for thoughts/pix. The net is I think it's going to be great - I'm very impressed with it. I probably should have asked if he's got a pattern more oriented to tools vs. chisels, but it's going to work just fine.

Is the new one smaller? I only have the 3/8” non fuel ratchet that I love. I never cared to get the fuel since the one I have is smaller and fits in more places. I prefer that over the extra power, it’s just a ratchet after all, I have other more persuasive tools when needed.

I bought 3/8” since it covered more bases, but I’d prefer 1/4” as I’d certain use that more.

Yep, the new one is smaller. I too didn't like the bigger head on the first Fuel but it never really bothered me using it. But I always felt it was too slow & the overall size of it felt too big & heavy to me.

This new one feels great in hand, lighter, & I love the speed. Both above are 3/8"

Thanks for the reply! I’ll probably check them out at Home Depot when I can.

These keep getting mentioned on here so purchased one. Looks nothing special in photos, but feels surprising solid, and is nicely finished with smoothed off edges on the handle.

What is that used for? Special purpose or general use?

I would call it a general use tool. I use it for prying or separating all kinds of parts where I need something more delicate than a screwdriver (which either leaves witness marks, doesn’t fit or both). Typically it’s pulling a parts household items to fix (plastic) or interior trim bits, but it comes in handy everywhere. And the curve allows you to use it as a lever to pry up where you need something else under a typical screwdriver shaft. And even if you don’t have a flat surface to use it as a lever, you can comfortably put a thumb or finger under it’s flat blade to pry, where a screwdriver shaft would dig into your thumb.

They are called Skin wedge the number 4140 or 4130 is the material the tool is made out of. It is commonly used in Aviation. Excellent tool for prying or setting gaps of all kinds, I ended up getting 2 just because 2 are better than one. Also if you shop around you can get them at a better price than Amazon.
