Want those mini pry things...
Yup... I found some with magnets on the **** end... they are in my cart... I have both the 4140 and the Mueller already... use them at least once a week... well... today even. I also have a professional aircraft company's version of the 4140... WAY thinner, deadly even. It has a bake-a-light type handle.
Arm Pit Hair Curling Iron ?... pretty sure I saw it in the back of one of those magazines I used to read.
Yup, that was too easy. It is a 9mm socket with a 4mm square drive inside. It works on small utility engines like a couple golf carts I tuned up. I had no idea a tool like this existed. 9mm is odd for sure.possibly valve adjustment tool?
Please shows us the pro aircraft version of the 4140.Gotta have those mini's tho...
Will photo it in the morning... it's cool.Yup... I found some with magnets on the **** end... they are in my cart... All purchases today. I purchased the “pop rivet tool” as I call it for those annoying plastic pop rivets that all cars seem to have these days everywhere. I bought that one for home since I wanted to make sure that spot in my home box was filled. Plus I like having extras of everything. I purchased the 20mm to fill in my set at work. Plus this is my first Carlyle tool I’ve been wanting to try them. Since I’m a Subaru tech now I probably won’t ever use it unless I’m working on a Ford or something. The 11mm socket is to fill in my set as well. Sadly made in China but I don’t think it will see much use anyway. Now the only ones I need to fill in my work set are a 25mm deep and 26mm shallow and deep which I have at home but don’t want to break them up to take to work. Thanks for sharing
sorry for the poor pictures... It's a lot sharper than it looks. Also there are absolute sharpening marks on the back side of the blade. The only markings on the tool are shown. Not sure where I got the thing from. It's DEFINATELY not spring steel... it's firm as hell. Handle is press rivited to the tool as well.
It feels **** in the hand... if that matters.
Does Ford use 20mm somewhere on newer vehicles? I've never encountered it through 2011 MY......
Thats a great set. I wish they would add a 5/16", 7/8", and 1" to it. I love the Flank Drive Plus and reversible ratchet head.
My friends 1986 Bronco 2 has some aftermarket suspension components that you need a 20mm socket and wrench for. That’s what I used it on. Apparently it’s common in aftermarket Ford parts is what I was told.Does Ford use 20mm somewhere on newer vehicles? I've never encountered it through 2011 MY......
M, what brand are magnetic plug sockets ?
They look like Toptul.

Agreed. Although, I do have those sizes in my standard (non-ratcheting) set. On a related note, I remember that my dealer threw in the 15/16” and 1” wrenches for free when I bought that set.Thats a great set. I wish they would add a 5/16", 7/8", and 1" to it. They are dry, but will shine if you actually use them. They are really handy if you put them in a ratcheting wrench. That ratchet is ergonomically perfect to me, the action is really smooth, it's super skinny, I put it to use in pro environment. The magic switching frustrates me, but it is skinny. I put up with it, I have many ratchets. I read people cutting a piece of spring off on sk's, what's the secret to this one? The selector likes to switch, on its own under vigorous use. Otherwise, holding in my hand, fixed, standard length, this is tops for handle shape, I'd pay ten to twenty more for a little knurl
Well another GJ tool I really want to add. I have two of the 4140 pry tools and they've come in so damn handy so often already.

I have both of those, and I'm a fan.Took advantage of the coupon deal last weekend. I’m trying to condense my work tools to save drawer space. So far I’m pretty pleased though I had to take apart the 3/8 to figure out why it seemed to be a little rough out of the box. I can’t believe I never thought about swivel ratchets before. Seems like a no-brainer now.
Resistance is futile... yada yada yada...Well another GJ tool I really want to add. I have two of the 4140 pry tools and they've come in so damn handy so often already.
I'm going to resist. That thing looks awesome though...
lol - indeedResistance is futile... yada yada yada...
I got it used on ebay... needed to be cleaned up a bit. I paid $8... uhm... pretty sure it was a pawn shop on ebay.lol - indeed
How much was it? I found it on their site, but they want me to register to see the price. Not doing that unless I'm buying...
