That light is definitely nice. At my shop if you get caught using a power tool inside the car you get your walking papers after the first warning lol. So that would be a no go here. They had issues with people breaking things on interiors so no power or air tools allowed on the interior.
Holy ****, I would NEVER want to do a heater core without some M12 tools ever again! I do hand tighten lots of interior stuff though, but teardown is sooo much easier with cordless.

I agree. M12 made interior work so much nicer. It’s possible to use them for assembly but I still prefer the feel for final tightening.

***** that a few idiots ruined it for all of you. The tools have a progressive trigger. It’s not just an on/off switch but I know common sense isn’t so common anymore.

Had a similar rule at the machine shop I once worked at. First offense of not wearing approved safety glasses = the rest of the day off without pay. 2nd = a week off and the 3rd was you're gone. The lead machinist used to say that he'd can you for the 1st if he owned the place.

^ Is that a full circle of light serrounding the ratchet head? That is a great design. This is needed for the drills also.

Snap-On day. Brings back some good memories of when I was a mechanic. Never got a shirt or a hat even tho I purchased ~ $1K of SO back in the early mid '80s. Well, at least $700. Or maybe it was $500. No, it was a million for sure.

Another Milwaukee light, that brings me up to 4 MW lights now. :)

I use the Pica long reach markers pretty often. Wanted another Pica long reach pencil, bought a 2 pack for the heck of it. Looks like they updated the design a bit.

Got me another pair of "bed of nails" for my mobile electrical tool box. This one doesn't have the additional single probe pin like my other ones but that's ok. I really only use the bed of nails part anyway. Just need to put alligator clips on them still.

Another mini 1/4" hex drive chuck to use with a screwdriver handle & other various uses. I wonder why no one makes higher quality ones? Makita & Dewalt make em but they're too big for what I want. 1st one I bought was piece of ****. This one is better & will do.

Another tape dispenser for the shop/garage, the smaller one. We used these at my old work when I worked in electronics repair. Love these things, well built, heavy, & sharp as fck.

Painter's tripods. Saw these at Lowes, made by Allway. Had a feeling not to buy them & check Amazon when I got home and cause I had lots of gift card credit. Bought the Amazon Basic ones which were $2+ cheaper at the time with a coupon. When I got em packaging said made by Allway so they were the exact same ones.

Bought me a plastic tube to use for storage. Cut it to length using the lathe. Yeah yeah yeah, go ahead & make fun of me! I'll find any excuse to use machines & power tools! :)

@ 1FoxRacing; nice arrival to say the least. I like the swivel head ratchets with the ability to tighten up the swivel.

Recent pick ups… SK 3/8 Flex head LP90, Mac Heavy Duty Toyota Oil Filter Wrench, Snap-On 25mm socket and 6mm hex. Filter wrench is legit. For whatever reason when I change the oil on my son’s RAV4, the filter cover can be a ring-tailed mf’r to get off.
Nice! I got that filter socket. Totally agree. Its about the best for that application because the ones with wings can crack the housing.

Update on hose clamp pliers, my blue points blew out the locking mechanism quite a while ago, but, I still use them, almost daily.
Pneumatic pickle forks, really for the wide one and air attachment.
Gearwrench 21mm zero offset flex head, would have saved me a lot of time on stupid Porsche cayenne lower control arms that leave room for nothing but a wrench, or maybe a pass through set. Props to my wright 2.0s for standing up to the wrench on wrench to get those SOBs loose. Gearwrench, I work on all, I don't need a 20, 23, or 25, maybe throw us a 27 instead of those, or a 30. Then you have the complimentary second set.
The only time I use 23mm is Mazda differential plugs, which is dumb to begin with, considering it's been ford for years.
Most importantly, lifetime warranty on all. The tool truck store, Manassas, VA, shout out.

Not anything special. Just some Amazon warehouse deals. Proto inpacts and some Wright tools. Did not need the impacts but was a good deal.

Some new socket rails from Rural King. I have nearly 2,000 sockets now so I need a place to put more. These will go on my shop table in my basement that is an old desk lol. And an air chuck for me. Tired of having to borrow an air chuck since the ones at work crapped out. Now I know all the luber goobers will ask me to borrow it lol. Also forgot to take a picture but I bought an Evercraft 26mm socket yesterday too at a small town Napa store we checked out. And got a can of Kroil too never found any for sale till then. Better be worth the $20 lol. I’ll post a picture of the socket and Kroil later.

I used to dread the dreaded boundary wire break for my Husqvarna Automower, so when there was a break last week in an unknown point in 1500ft of underground cable I had to source a solution. Got this on Amazon and had located break in less than 2 minutes, highly recommended. This would work for dog boundary wire too.

Blue Point hub scrubber and another mag boot for my 14.4 tools. Looking forward to easier & faster rotor replacements - no more using a wire brush to get the spots around the studs that the die grinder with a cookie disc can’t get.

I was today years old when I realized that these things EASILY twist on and off. I hardly ever taken them on or off, but I felt like like an idiot when I read the box on the new one and realized I’ve been doing it the hard way… 😂

This guy followed me home today. Evolution S380CPS metal chop saw.
Going to try it out shortly on a steel firewood rack project.

Edit: This thing is awesome and exceeded every expectation I had for it! Could not believe how quickly it cut 1/8” stock, and how cleanly and cool. Got the project done a lot faster that expected for once. It did throw hot chips just about everywhere but that’s easily dealt with. Looking forward to more usage.

Here is that Evercraft socket I mentioned earlier. I’m guessing it’s old stock as now all the Evercraft at the new Napa store in town is Chinese and they don’t have individual sockets for that brand either. Probably won’t ever use it but I bought it to take to work as a fill in size. D804F8F8-C655-48BD-B887-EC808DBE0AC0.jpeg78A624E7-586B-495E-9A42-C6FE6D4F3688.jpeg38AEB49D-D428-46CE-9914-0DB1BAF956E7.jpegAlso picked up a magnetic pick up tool and a 25mm deep socket both are going to work. The 25mm is also a fill in size for my socket set one I don’t have yet. Probably won’t use it unless I’m too lazy to dig out a 1 inch socket when I need it lol. Unfortunately Chinese made but they didn’t have any Taiwan ones of these so they are old stock.E98B5933-522B-41E4-A59B-FF68891DB2C5.jpeg And also at that small town Napa we found Kroil which we haven’t ever found in stores before. I’ve used it once at school and I can’t remember how it worked but it better be worth the $20 lol. I’m sure it is I hear great things about it. I consider it a tool as penetrating oil is pretty much a requirement for working on cars.
