After my first Rapidaptor purchase...I quickly bought the rest of the extensions and the stubby driver. They are so dang good!

i-Q6th6LM-L.jpg

Duplicate 8mm and 10mm stubby hex plug sockets for my tool tray. Only my most used sizes, sockets go on the try so I'm not in and out of the box constantly.

i-4twtNpF-L.jpg

VIM goodies. Trying out this ball hex/torx set. I didn't really need the hexes, but I didn't see a way to get the torx ones outside of this set.

i-SGxZt5d-L.jpg

More bit holders on the magrails...the listing I bought from showed blue, but green showed up. Not a fan...

i-jbhwNV5-L.jpg

Some Koken surface drive sockets and bit sockets. The SAE bit sockets might be the first Koken order I'm not crazy about. The surface drive stuff all look great, but the sae bit sockets have quite a bit of variations between the sizes. Color, height, and chamfers are so inconsistent, it looks like a set of sockets pieces together from different sets.

Complete 3/8" metric set

i-kT8Q2zZ-L.jpg

Complete 1/4" metric set

i-MCRQHCS-L.jpg

1/4" SAE Hex Bit Set

i-8w2WBqs-L.jpg

Lastly..these Snap On magnetic mats are freaking awesome. This is my second one. Have the narrow version on order. Crazy strong.

i picked up that same set a few months back and its awesome for under dash work. the ball end of the bits really helps the screw/bolt stay attached making removal and install less likely of dropping the fastener

A few new cordless items have been added to the stable, including some orange. The free 4ah battery and charger was what sold me on the jigsaw, but when I went back for the grinder they were offering 2ah battery and charger instead.

Getting everything set in it's place on the shelf for now. Will be printing some new hangers/mounts for various other items (grinder handles, etc.) Over the next little while as time permits. Not seen (and consequently also not new arrivals) include 6-1/2" DeWalt circ saw, 4ah battery, and Dremel three tool kit, both on loan to Dad for kitchen projects.

Getting older *****.

Bifocal safety glasses. :p

One pair are bifocal with reading-glasses type 1.5 magnification in small areas at the bottom of the lenses. The other pair have 1.5 magnification on the whole lens, apart from the sides.

Home Depot had Husky zero offset ratcheting wrenches on sale last week for $19.97 in SAE and metric so I went in on it. I did have to buy a 17mm 19mm which bumped the price but I still feel like it was a decent deal.
I don't make a living with my tools.

HD's latest Husky offerings are slowly taking the place of Craftsman tools of 30 or more years ago imo. Same warranty, HD stores just about everywhere, and a relatively large selection of both 'single' and various tools sets. And all at a reasonable price for entry level mechanics and DIY at home types.

Picked this up of Facebook Marketplace, scored it for $150 which I thought was an extremely fair price, mainly for me. 😁

Fluke 179 DMM - Used obviously, but like new condition. Set of standard Fluke leads, need to buy a case.

All new tools this weekend. I got the blow gun probably for home maybe for work not sure yet. The detail kit or whatever it is I bought for the mandrel piece for my die grinder since it didn’t include one. The Teflon tape to seal my air tool fittings and anything else I may need it for. Then the large lock nut sockets were on closeout for $10 each at Advance Auto but then got to the register and they rung up $5.15 I said heck yeah can’t beat that. Then the last picture is my pawn shop haul for $10. Also got two movies with that too.

What are lock nut sockets used for?

No unfortunately not. It’s just a cheapie I was digging through the socket bin with there and my dad threw it in there to have as a beater. I wish it was a Snap-on. Are you looking for one? I can keep my eye out for you.
No, I have a Snap On screwdriver with a handle that looks like that. I thought maybe YOU snuck a Snap On in there with the all the odds and ends;).

Some new tools today since we now have Snap-on Monday instead of Thursday. The master rethreading set is on sale still so I got a good deal. Actually got it for less than sale price. Then since I wanted another ratchet I got this one it’s a purple I originally thought it was dark blue but that’s ok I like purple too. Then I got my 15mm socket from the pawn shop replaced with the warranty. Same with the screwdriver tip too. Dealer said he doesn’t care cause he still gets credit either way. And I made a $100 payment today.

Edit to add since I was honest he gave me a free hat. He mistakenly gave me the ratchet for 50 cents so I went back out there to tell him. I can’t do someone wrong like that that’s not me at all. Also bought a small screwdriver since he was out of the pocket ones. BDF17B02-F8DE-4261-BF10-6A68DD0FD121.jpeg596715AB-498C-4E7A-B812-97D71B1AFC75.jpeg

Blake you will use the hell out of that rethreading set and having the warranty imo is worth the price I've had to warranty a few in the last 10 years. Also that pocket screwdriver is always in my pocket and the fact it's warrantied makes it worth while as well

I hope so. I am happy with the price I paid. I bet it will come in handy when you tear up threads on a Subaru lug stud or lug nut lol. I know I’ve ran into several issues where this would of saved me.

I would hope that’s what we all would do - people forget that Snap-on drivers are small business owners. They literally drive around most of their net worth on that truck, it’s not like a corporate big box store that gets that much stolen every 15 minutes.

Yep and this guy owns three trucks. His wife and son both run one as well. And he ain’t never done me wrong. Yeah it costed me more money being honest but I don’t care at least I know I did the right thing and can sleep well tonight. All my coworkers are like dude he gave you a 50 cent ratchet and you are going to go tell him? I’m like yeah it’s the right thing to do. He meant to take off $13.10 not $131.

New snap on hard handles in orange, been using the green instinct handles for 8+ years and love em, figured I’d add a set of hard handles to the collection.
Wish I had those, the instinct handles collect grease and orange is my favorite. I honesty hardly use my screw drivers, so it's not worth replacing my red instincts

Good job kid. (y) He'll remember that and you'll likely directly benefit from your honesty somehow sometime in the future.
