The Matco wear house was not open today but the door was open so they sold me stuff anyway haha. I had 5 minutes to get whatever I wanted today. So I picked up some things $268 for everything. I’ve needed a screw gun for awhile so now I’ve got one. Everything was too good of a deal to pass up. The door panel set was $22. Flaring set was $34. Impact sockets 1/4 in the maroon case $66. Screw gun was $100 exactly. 2315F0EB-9684-4885-8233-34DECB1BDDB9.jpegThen of course I had to spend money so I bought a $6 keychain lol 😂. I feel I got a good deal on everything.

Aside from the screwdrivers, I was looking for a set of 1/2" drive extensions. I thought Menard's had a 3 pc set but couldn't find it in store or online now. Since I had a small balance on an HD gift card, I went there to pick up a few spring clamps @ 99¢ each. I looked to see what they had for extensions and found a 3 pc Husky set for $20.

Then I noticed this 19 pc Husky set for $25, regular price $40. Not really a big fan of Husky tools but the price was right even being made in China.KIMG1476.JPG

I forgot this one in my last post somehow. Was a grab earlier this year, just havent been on GJ much. Snap-on 3/8" Techangle torque wrench. Dealer cut me a sweet deal on it as it sat on promo on his truck for awhile. I'll buy more, thats for sure.

Went by to see how much space I'll need in my wife's minivan to bring the new Full Bank cart home from HF, and decided to fill a couple gaps.

I keep finding weird spots where a bigger pair of nippers would be really handy, so decided to address that. Also, after seeing how well the Doyle "water pump pliers" did in the Project Farm video, I decided to get one for the "family" box (and planning to see how they look next to my Cobras).

Also cut the **** out of myself in the engine bay of my old car a few days ago, so I decided to grab some flush cuts. Decided to get a couple for size, and curiosity on Icon pair won out:

(and yeah, I know, these look like Snap On knock-offs. I wouldn't pay SO money - hell, I honestly am considering returning them for the $35 they cost, and would probably be feeling the same way if they were SO)

Gonna order those Icon Flush Cutters.

Thanks for depleting my retirement.

:ROFLMAO: I'm thinking the Doyle will be for zip ties (based on the videos I've seen, they did a great job), but probably wouldn't try it on anything more than really-thin wire. The Icon pair will be the "whatever" set (within reason).

Titanium folding utility knife. Aliexpress special. Found this from a thread on here, same as a much more expensive "branded" one sold in North America. Really nice piece, small, light, great action, and carries deep.

Picked up this Bosch Professional GRO 10.8 V-Li Rotary tool with a seller on eBay. It's very similar to the Dremel 8220, expect this has an LED light in the front. It feels good in your hands without any noticeable vibration. Most of my power tools are made by Bosch and my 12v batteries and charger work well with this.

Proto/Mac rbrt hex in metric. Zoro knocked it down to 70 out the door. Some of these will see heavy use in a pro environment, and I will review accordingly.

I bought a few mac sizes and have had good luck with them so far. I think you'll like them!

Been trying to fill a void in my ratchet wrenches for awhile, close but not perfect. 16mm but not reversible. It'll due for now.

DSCN4073.JPG

While looking for the above wrench, found a sale at Advance Auto, 8 pc Gearwrench ratcheting reversible for $33, which is 50% off. I bought the SAE set and ordered the Metric set which will be in this afternoon.DSCN4072.JPG

Then broke out some Menard's rebate to cover 65-70% of the cost of 2 pair of jack stands and new jack. My other 6T stands are under the Mustang and I used my smaller stands when I rotated the tires/changed oil on the truck yesterday. SO I said heck with it and bought 4 new stands. While I was at it, my 25+ year old floor jack has been getting tired.

Sale online or in store? Local only or nationwide?

I'm not really sure if it was just local or online. I just happened to come across it while I was in the store. If you zoom in on the picture, you can see the part number.

EDIT: It loks like it's on sale right now and probably getting clearanced out.

Managed not to injure myself or the new cart getting it out of my mother's CRV we just bought for my son (it was what was available, and while I measured, it was a tight fit, and heavy):

All in all, I'm pretty pleased. It absorbed everything with room to spare, and is going to keep things easy to access.

I have to say that the 44" chest likely holds more stuff (probably a lot more) since it's dividing the volume across more drawers (sq. in. vs. cu. in). But I really like the flip-top for how I work, and I think it's enough space for a while - once I get it organized I'll definitely have open space.

I may have spent too much today . I absolutely love the Power Blue screwdrivers. Been waiting two weeks for them. Then I needed some good torx drivers. Tired of my Craftsman tips being junk. So got the nine piece set which was $189 on sale. Then got one of the pink ratchets and talked him out of a pocket screwdriver as well .

Finally bought some wera screwdrivers after lusting after them for years but being unsure about if I’m going to like the handles, I’ve always been a Klien guy. Some larger cobra pliers. A back up set of bahco adjustable wrenches. The craftsman and gear wrench sets you can get for a Black Friday deal now. 8D9057A9-9670-42AC-AFDB-4AD816004174.jpeg

That powder blue color is really nice. I was looking for it on the website and it doesn't appear to be listed... Yet.

I've decided I need new prybars. I've been looking at Tekton and Olsa sets, but if the truck guy worked with me at all on a set of new ones in that blue...

This is the direction I’m going. Will it be your only box?
