This is the direction I’m going. Will it be your only box?
For automotive stuff, yes. I have a 29" USG cab against the back of the garage, but it mainly holds the household-general-purpose tools. My old 5-drawer wouldn't hold my SK Xframe and GearWrench flex stubby set, so they lived in the 29" until now, which kinda sucked when I was trying to get things done. I also had a variety of things piled underneath on the shelf-thing of the 5-drawer.

All of that now lives in the Full Bank with room to spare. I'll probably gain even more once I get some small organizers in there. That, along with the unburdening of the 29" should see me set for a while, though I'm going to work hard to stay in the boundaries of this setup. Any step beyond this is going to require garage changes that will be challenging in more than one way.

My only wish would be a 3 -shallower-drawers-for-2-current-height swap. But overall, it's a fantastic box that I'm happy with. Guess we'll see from here - I've got a lot of stuff to do on the various family cars in the next few months.

That powder blue color is really nice. I was looking for it on the website and it doesn't appear to be listed... Yet.

I've decided I need new prybars. I've been looking at Tekton and Olsa sets, but if the truck guy worked with me at all on a set of new ones in that blue...
They had them on there for about a week but then removed them. I know my Snap-on guy said they were selling so many that they were having a hard time keeping them in stock. I need some more prybars too and a long pick set I’m hoping to get both soon. Hopefully in this color.

I may have spent too much today . I absolutely love the Power Blue screwdrivers. Been waiting two weeks for them. Then I needed some good torx drivers. Tired of my Craftsman tips being junk. So got the nine piece set which was $189 on sale. Then got one of the pink ratchets and talked him out of a pocket screwdriver as well .
Holy ****, you must make either a ton of money or no money. I must admit, I want one of those little Snap On screwdrivers

I grabbed these Tsunoda cable tie cutters off Amazon for $20. These are my second set of Tsunoda pliers and I must say they are extremely well made.
I love my pair I picked up a few months back. It’s one of those things that if it broke tomorrow I would definitely but it again and again lol. Totally worth the $20

Really liking these Koken wheel sockets. Good length to keep the gun away from the wheel, shallow depth to allow me to feed sockets in to just gun them on. Not sure how long the plastic guards on the ends will last, but IIRC koken sells them for like 3 bucks. So even if I had to replace a full set twice a year, that's 24 bucks to do 17/19/21 twice. Thinking ill get the 22mm as well next time I do an order from a koken vender. It's a tad pricey as a single, like $35, so I'd like to avoid paying shipping for a single item.

Btw: astro gun is awesome.

Yes those Koken impact wheelnut sockets are sweet to use.

I purchased this exact Koken set of 4 a few years ago.

I have not found the Koken wheel nut socket plastic sleeves available in the US. Even amazon.jp doesn't ship them to the US, the last I checked. And they don't last long, even for for home use.

I could have sworn I saw a place selling them. But now I can't find it. I'm less interested in protecting the nut mounting area, rather focusing on nicks to the side of the lug nut wells.

Anyone have an opinion on that Gearwrench set? Looks interesting and I've been thinking about picking one up.

Man for $50 right now you get two bit holding flex head ratchets with a lifetime warranty. One of which is a foot long.

Those Koken sockets look sharp.

@2ndGearRubber how long have you had the stubby onyx? Do you use it for everything or just lugs?

It's been about 6 weeks I've had the stubby gun. It replaced my ingersoll rand stubby, which was garbage compared to the astro.

I use it for lug nuts and anything 1/2 drive applicable. Very happy with it, it does most of all my 1/2 drive impact stuff.

Today I got new pads for my Irwin clamps:
nn6grg.jpg
Have to say I really appreciate these being easily available, though I think they're a bit spendy. I've had these clamps a long time, and hate stuff like this winding up disposable.

The Mayhew Dominator set arrived this morning - shown here with the Craftsman bars they're replacing:
V1aLrK.jpg
I'm keeping the smallest Craftsman in the box as it has been pretty handy in various spots that the new guy might not fit. The other bars are probably going to be donated to Habitat.

The Dominator bars are obviously extremely beefy (and MiUSA at that). The big question: Will they fit in the box without slipping through the holes and without fouling on the lid??

Why yes, yes they will... (barely)

They are trying to clear out all the Matco from work so I bought all this. Showed up at home with it and thought I would be dead cause my parents were angry about it. I politely explained that I need tools to do my job and these tools were on sale for major reductions. The most I paid for the ratchets were $40 for the big 1/2 drive one used. The rest were about $20. Screwdriver set (which they were the most angry over) was $30. Long pick I want to say was $5. Cornwell ratchet $15. And that’s not even everything. I will continue the post with another as I can only insert 10 pictures. Forgot to take a picture of the wheel lock remover set that was $20 too. I’ll take a picture and post later with the shirts. The Blue Point impact was $30 as well and it works.
Search sold ebay listings for those screw drivers...I bet a NOS set would bring $100....As others have mentioned they are made by Witte and are good quality.

Saw this somewhere on GJ and grabbed it.
No chance to use it yet, but it’s here
I think you will like the ball grip of the VESSEL drivers, I was not sure of it but when I used it/them I liked the feel in hand.

Bore brush set for caliper brackets, we'll see how they hold up. Vise grips to replace an ancient husky version that has been beat up and abused a long time. And gw long handle fixed head 1/4" drive, who knows what the future of sk is right now, I know I can warranty the head out of this no problem, for now.

Don’t run them in a drill imo unless your very careful and you go very slow. Use them by hand. Drill is fine if the brush is way smaller than the bore but it takes forever to clean and doesn’t get them perfect.

If you're using them for caliper slide pin bores, just skip the little brushes all together. A ball hone last much longer will also doing a better job. Buy three or four sizes and you're pretty well covered for most vehicles. They are only five or six dollars a piece on Amazon
