Had been looking for a decent spring compressor (don't want a cheap Chinese manufactured one that could potentially explode in my face!) and found this one made in Taiwan. Good reviews, so we'll see how it does on the Tacoma!
That looks nice. Who made it?

Some new stuff I’ve gotten over the last few weeks.
The Snap-on drift punches were a new item on eBay and at the price were right at the cost of the Mayhew set I was eyeing. The trim tools are for interior work as my large set is very beat up from exterior and under car/wheel liners clips. Lastly the Stahlwile deep offsets were on major sale and needed the metrics so figured I may as well.

Did you get the Stahlwille off Amazon?

Picked up the Ace deal Milwaukee screwdrivers today. Not really anything special, but nicer than the Craftsman clear hard handles I have in my home box. Wish there was a PH3 you could get to round out the set.

I have been on a screwdriver kick lately. Not sure what I want to do with them... Have a set of Matco Wittes in my daily bag that I really love. Picked up the Weras a bit back to possibly replace those... but never used yet. Thinking about dumping the Crasftsman clear handles (but the nostalgia!) in place of the Weras and keeping the Milwaukees as a backup set. I just picked up the Pittsburghs from HF to put in my smaller bag for quick jobs/scoping jobs, when I don't need to carry my 50lb bag.

I am quitting the day job first quarter of 2022, going full time on the side gig, so front loading tools as best I can now.

Bought an 8oz ball peen hammer today. It was $8.99 with my moms military discount. I needed the 8oz to complete my set now I just need a 12oz ball peen which I’ll get eventually it’s not a total need right now though it would come in handy. Appears pretty well made. Says made in Vietnam I figured it would of been China but either way feels quality to me.

Then I ordered this ratchet as well. Wanted to get it at the store but they were completely sold out at both locations here. I read all reviews and asked people who had it and they all liked it so I went ahead and got it. Was looking for more M18 batteries for my gun but they were all out and we missed all the really good deals because I had to work. I will post real life pictures of the ratchet when it arrives I am super excited. Says it will be here by December 3rd. Had to order tonight to get the discount price I think so I did. I love Black Friday deals. Don’t care to give the orange store business but Lowe’s doesn’t have Milwaukee unfortunately.

Picked these two up yesterday. I always keep a small drill bit set open in the toolbox drawer to grab bits in a hurry instead of pulling out the big box. Noticed they were getting worn so I replaced them with this Craftsman set on Black Friday sale from Lowe’s. Also got this scissors set from Home Depot to replace my worn out garage sale ones.

My Black Friday tools shopping arrived today, some Xmas presents, some stuff I wanted, some impulse buys because they looked nice
58A441B9-95B8-40F7-98A2-0BDA972A6FD0.jpeg
That’s a led work light, britool 3/8” impact sockets and extension set, Falcom expert flex 1/2” ratchet, beta pry bars for BIL’s Xmas present, wera wooden handle screwdrivers for Dad’s Xmas present, knipex micro cobra, knipex long nose pliers, beta Stanley knife and a couple of beta clocks for the garage and shed.

The knipex long nose pliers were on my list, waiting for me to do a big enough order for free postage, and I’ve been after a set of 3/8” impact sockets for ages, Britool isn’t a real brand anymore but they’re at least as good as any of the other taiwan/China tools (plenty good enough).

Let me guess- the little blue funnel is for a Toyota?

Where/from who did you procure the Thexton thread pitch gauge set? What are the approximate diameter sizes of those pieces? Did they come with any sort of containment system, or is that left to the end user?

Do you not have access to Sunex or Tekton sockets and drive accessories in the UK?

Not sure where he bought his but I got mine off of Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003QI0MOM/?tag=atomicindus08-20

They have gone up in cost. When I bought mine, they were a "Add On Item" special and I paid $6.70.

Three of them are about 3-3/4" and one is about 3-1/4" diameter.

Mine arrived in a card stock packet and did not come with any form of durable long term storage containment. I originally had mine on a piece of paracord that hung above the bench but they now live in a thin drawer in my drill bit box with some of the other thread measuring tools.

They are made of aluminum and are pretty thin. IMO, they would be better/nicer if the lettering and numbers were infilled with color (which is easily accomplished by the end user) and they were made of stainless and maybe even a little thicker. BUT then they would command more $$$.

I have always wanted a Kennedy but could never find a decent used one and the new ones were always ridiculously overpriced. Got this guy (a 3611-B) from Zoro over the week for $580 including tax. I couldn’t believe it.

Picked up a bunch of stuff on special this weekend. I love these long ball end Bondus T handles. I use the regular ones all the time and these will be an excellent addition for motorcycle work.
Also got a spot weld cutter, some 1/4” cobalt bits, foot pedal for my portaband saw, and a beautiful new to me Record #6 vise!
