Thanks to whoever posted the blemish trusty cook promo code a while back. Picked a few hammers for the cheap. Bought this massive, extendable/indexable gearwrench pry bar after seeing ppl on here talk about it. It's def robust and overkill for what I need but it's pretty dang cool. And I found this titan 1/2 breaker bar on sale around town for $12

^ Interesting, I've never seen thread pitch gauges like that before, pretty cool.
should come in handy ....no guesswork anymore :)

Nice, I just realized I think I have every one of those in my garage haha… Great tools!
:love: yes indeed......and who can say no for these prices... https://www.jbtools.com/searchresults.html?search_query=flotool

Monte -
Let me guess- the little blue funnel is for a Toyota?

Where/from who did you procure the Thexton thread pitch gauge set? What are the approximate diameter sizes of those pieces? Did they come with any sort of containment system, or is that left to the end user?
I don´t have a Toyota yet :) but maybe in the future ;) the reason why i bought it: it was only $1.23 :)
I think the main purpose it is sold for is for fuel additives etc. ...i might try it with Marvel Mystery Oil :D:oops::giggle:

I bought the Thexton gauges here: https://www.jbtools.com/thexton-432-universal-thread-gauges/
It seems i got the last set :) Please look at post# 55.355 from Fatboy148 for more info. I can measure too but it takes until the weekend....

I seldom see people talking about SE tools. You'll find a lot of their pliers rebranded as blue point on the SO trucks. (Pliers like pictured above and hose clamp pliers) Far less money if you buy the SE brand, albeit without the tool truck service/warranty.

Got the new cart unloaded. Haven’t put anything in it yet. Still deciding where everything should go and I have to go to Harbor Freight and get a few more magnetic trays and some plier racks. What does everyone like for pliers better the magnetic rack or the wire rack? I’m just excited cause this fits my 36 inch pry bar like all the reviews online said it didn’t.

Nice boxes. One has silver trim, one has black trim................ how's the OCD going to handle that? Do I see some spray paint in your future ? ;)

For Pliers, I really like the Toolbox widget pliers holders. They're not cheap but, they're the best pliers holder I've found.

My only complaint is that the set comes with two different width holders. I would like to be able to purchase the narrow or wide version holder as a set of each instead of shared sizes but, it's only because I have too many pliers.

That's a great looking cart in orange. Please share how it works out for you.

These came in today, I’ll see how I like them and if I can fit another set of wrenches in my service cart then maybe pick up some more for the big box.

Swung by Ace Hardware to pick up the Craftsman V series metric wrench set I ordered last week,
Has the look and feel of USAG or FACOM wrenches. Initial impressions: Nice chrome, good balance and feel, no knife edge beams, eye beam design seems comfortable. raised lettered CRAFTSMAN V on the front side, laser etched part number on the back side. decent sized sized markings on each end on both sides. Straight offset, instead of bent boxed end. no anti slip open end, smooth jaws. sizes 7-19mm skipping 9mm. made in Taiwan. Handy dandy USAG/FACOM/MAC compact wrench holder included. Well worth to me the $64 on sale I paid for them. This wrench set might be the gem of the Craftsman V series.

It actually doesn’t bother me. I think the cart and box are a little different shades of orange either that or the black makes the cart look darker but it doesn’t bother me. And the black looks sweet on the cart.

You'd think they'd stick with the same color for all the US general but it's also HF... but could easily be an optical illusion.

I've got a blue matco 4S with the black drawer trim and a blue sunex basic, U bar, single drawer cart that's a bit beat up... by me and the car that hit the tire machine, that then knocked my tool box over, that also caught the drawer-pull on the cart (that one made it into a safety video :rolleyes2 ). The blues don't match but not so far off that it's real noticeable. Box has 2 dents on the back but they don't interfere with any function but I'm still miffed about it and the zero compensation I got :cautious:

Before I got my current box I was planing to get orange if I bought new. Now I just go for the orange tools instead. Blue and orange are compliments on the color wheel 😉

Wow sorry about someone running over your box pretty much lol. Dents would bother me I want everything to be in perfect shape haha. In school we had a toolbox near the lift that had a drawer open and it caught the drawer and over went the toolbox. Teacher wasn’t too happy because it was his toolbox. I wanted blue when I got the beginning of the first box but I would of had to wait all they had at any store around me was yellow or orange so I went with orange. Then I just kept adding orange pieces. I wanted to get a blue cart but would of had to wait too which wasn’t a big deal because all the had in stock was orange or black. But orange and blue are a local college color and they are not well liked in my work town because they are that towns biggest rival lol.

I just got this over the weekend. It’s a little smaller than my Milwaukee m12 drill with the exception of the battery but seems substantially more powerful.

Best of both worlds. Small and light to use but adequate power.

I like it Blake, is it pretty sturdy? I have the wire racks in my epic but in my cart I have the plastic ones for ease of organization as far as pliers go. At least u just gave to deal with the football rivalries, where as I have to deal with the whole LU country lol

It is very sturdy. Very heavy too haha. Good to know on the plier racks. And haha yeah I can bet that’s fun in my work town it’s VT and UVA is our rival lol.

NOS still in the shrink wrap Snap-On gen 1 soft grip screwdrivers. These are my favorite screwdrivers and now I have a new set in the tray, I'm pumped.

i-xs6HSGM.jpg

i-T4fw5XT.jpg

Then I rearranged the screwdriver drawer with a set of Ernst drawer dividers I have had kicking around for years but have never used. Worked out great.

i-2wCCFPP.jpg

i-CJCDxFQ.jpg

NOS set of Harley Davidson (Snap-On / Williams made in 2003) metric hex 3/8" drive sockets. I could not pass them up for $20.

i-phKw4ff.jpg

i-L3gkLqt.jpg

Rabbit hole purchase of the week - Koken 3753N 3/8" ratchet. I get the hype, very nice indeed.

i-7h9nGvt.jpg

i-kZXLZ3W.jpg

i-nkmmZSQ.jpg

i-t532sRN.jpg

Compared to a Snap-On 3/8" Ratchet head (In photos online, the Koken always looks like it has a huge head...happy to see it is just an illusion):

Milwaukee Markers

Black Friday splurge...I have seen this set over the past few years and I finally could not pass it up for $200.
5 tools for that price with 2 batteries included...yep, I'm in. I know they are non Fuel, I already have a Fuel impact and was ready to spend over $100 for the ratchet kit alone.

3/8" Ratchet

i-WTvkcLb.jpg

LED Light - not the brightest, but will work great for under the car. Stands up will with a 3ah battery too.

i-LQjgvhT.jpg

Hackzall - bummer it does not come with any blades...

i-LkthH8W.jpg

Drill

i-5pfGKXQ.jpg

1/4" hex impact

i-JVwZR7x.jpg

And lastly, a few more DeWalt 3ah batteries. These work great in my fan, inflator (seems like they were made for the inflator) and blower.

I have the exact same two sets of Snap-on screwdrivers. The red hard handled set I purchased in the early 90's and the Instinct handled set about 15 years ago. I have them both along with my CAT labeled Snap-on black screwdriver set in my main screwdriver drawer and they all seem to get used somewhat equally.
