I've been considering one of those for a while now, as using a full-size torque wrench on stem bolts, and the like, is a bit awkward/overkill, but have always questioned the quality/accuracy of them...that calibration certificate you posted looks pretty darn good, though.
Looks sturdy. Can you adjust that model so you can set the throttle to a certain RPM ?Could've used that a couple years ago bleeding a clutch master.
Editing: I guess this model isn't necessarily for brakes and clutches but they've got one that is. Lisle 21520. Just bought one for $9 from Amazon courtesy of a $25 promotion credit.
Always look at the Lisle website before you buy something from BluepointI bought that in Blue Point flavor before I realized it was rebranded Lisle. Good tool, no complaints.

It adjusts from 18" to 34". Although looking at it, I don't believe it's as precisely adjustable as the throttle version. More of lengthen it to mash the pedal to the floor. I'll report back when I receive it.Looks sturdy. Can you adjust that model so you can set the throttle to a certain RPM ?
Gotta wonder how much money was left on the table after shipping them from Europe in a week at that price. Looking forward to using mine.

Please reply back how you like the hard handle vs standard chrome. I picked that model up (in 3/8" drive) the last 3 stops and put it back on the magnet not really knowing if I'd love it or hate it. "You know you want it", Yeah, and you know that I know you wouldn't mind the $194 for it. I'm worried, probably a bit too much, about tight spots where I know a standard chrome handle swings fine.
Maaaan, ya gotta love 'em! I'm into several hobbies but for sure I know exactly what I want. I have several things still sitting in boxes like new. Logitech speakers stand out. I have Klipsch 5.1 Ultra already for the computer, so I guess when I build the new garage the Logitech will go in there. Never built the new garage over the 2 decades so they're still there in a box. The general rule is DON'T buy me tools, Computer parts, or clothing. All she wants is flowers though and I don't pull through much....My wife always asks for a list of things I would like. If I say I want a ratchet, chances are she would stop at Lowes and pick up a Kobalt because they all look the same to her, so I have to make the list as specific as possible.
How do you like them so far? I picked up one today at the tool store and found the ratcheting mechanism not very smooth. Was disappointed and put them back.
probly not much. the amazon deal jumped to $125 now. not sure that includes freight. toolgiant looks to have them for $100. no matter. we got hell of a dealGotta wonder how much money was left on the table after shipping them from Europe in a week at that price. Looking forward to using mine.
With a handle like flip-eye i see why you put them backHow do you like them so far? I picked up one today at the tool store and found the ratcheting mechanism not very smooth. Was disappointed and put them back.
I like yellow, your ratchet handle my US General tool chest and on Corvettes, i read last night some where here they are using and putting on 6 in 1 screwdriver handles on the chromed metal ratchet handles, simply fascinating, i thought that's what mechanics gloves are for? Please reply back how you like the hard handle vs standard chrome. Nice to see another Hi-Viz buyer BTW. Gotta pick a color and I guess no one wants Yellow...good! "I'll ask others and if it's there next week..." Oh, it'll be there. No one likes yellow (laughs from the others aboard the good ship spend-your-lot). I'm DeWalt and mark my cheaper tools yellow already, so...
Just worried about that darn handle. Retired family says it's great for long handles and breakers and perhaps benchwork for carbs where you full grip the thing and not finger-dally bolts off in confined spaces. Set me straight!

Me likey, I do not see this model # listed on the website. Any ideas where a non truck user could buy one?
I got mine from ebay. They were new last year (I think) so it seems like there aren't a whole lot of them out there yet.Me likey, I do not see this model # listed on the website. Any ideas where a non truck user could buy one?

Might have to pull the trigger, finally.
My feel is pretty good, but when dealing with high-dollar, and very fragile, carbon components I'd rather be safe than sorry haha. I'm currently using a wera 2.5-25 Nm torque wrench on my bikes, but as I mentioned earlier, it can be a little cumbersome, and I don't like having to rely on the very low end of torque wrenches (mostly deal with the 3-6 Nm range on bikes). So the 2-8 of that one would be perfect.Glad I bought mine. Am now realizing my feel is not as good as I thought it was. Am not as "pro" as I thought... imagine that.
Two wish list items:
- 1/4 drive instead of a bit driver as I tend to fumble around with bits more than sockets.
- Made in the USA - might be worth it to me even if I had to pay 2X, I thought CDI was all USA made given their torque wrenches all seem to be USA made. This is one of the few non USA made CDI products I have found.

I do agree with wishing it was a 1/4 drive instead of bit...I never did like dealing with bits. Then, given it's price, and (probably) small market size, I'm not surprised that it's not a made in USA product. But, then again, it is made in France, so not exactly a China made product?

That's a pretty decent cloner have one and use it a few times a month. Mainly when doing EEPROM work on old toyotas / acuras. I think you'll like it.Xhorse key cloner. Got tired of paying $100-$150 at the dealer to program keys. This cost under $300 on Ebay so after just 2 or 3 keys it pays for itself. Plus it can reset $10 used transponder keys so they can be reused instead of spending another $100-$150 on a new key.
