Light haul for now. Bunch of goodies on order.

I know, I have a **** ton of Snap On metal digital torque wrenches, but I don't have this particular torque wrench. I doesn't help it was like $180 off MSRP or something like that.

A very thin body 3/8 torque wrench that will do 5-100ftlbs.

Here is a comparison to another one of my 1/4" drive metal torque wrenches where the size difference is more apparent.

A partial shipment to close out an order I made from black friday finally showed up. PB swiss nail setter. Love the knurling on PB swiss - lots of trim work projects around the house coming up.

i-4St63zf-L.jpg

I must've missed that Ullman makes "normal" length picks. I have the long ones, and don't care for them. I saw these normal length ones for under $10 shipped on ebay, and figured why the hell not. Side note...noticed they updated their logo. I think the older cursive one was a bit classier; new one is meh.

Enjoy the torque wrench ****.

These are slightly different than the red handle version. You'll notice a USB output on the black versions - this can be used to export xls files to audit/record actual torque values.

The middle metal torque wrench, I’m assuming it’s the 3/8 inch version. Thank you.

Source for these? Quick google search but didn't see any retailers.

@billspreston didn't have them in stock at the time, but would recommend his store (DRPD) before dealing with PB Swiss US (Count On Tools). I've ordered from Count On, and the issue is you don't know if what you're ordering is in stock or not, so you might end up waiting 3 months for half your order.

This arrived in this mornings mail!

Klein part # 32510 32 piece screwdriver bit set!

I already have one of these Klein sets for use inside the house but wanted one for dedicated use outside and in the garage, etc.

I really like this type of Klein tool specifically for the grip cushion handle that helps give a bit more torque when needed.

Happen to find this one on Ebay cheap!

Well I didn't plan on buying new tools today but had a dental appointment for my little girl that's an hour away from home, halfway there my battery light kicks on and I was able to make it the rest of the way there before the alternator died completely. My commercial rep for advanced auto got my commercial discount setup at the closest store (luckily a mile away) I limped there with my little gb40 noco. I found a 1/4 and 3/8 mm and sae gearwrench socket set on clearance for 45 and dude gave it to me for 30 since I was in a pinch. Changed it out in the parking lot in the rain and snow and made it back home, so safe to say this will stay in the cars now. Shout out to Blake for being willing to help if I had been in his town, thought I was but had it wrong lol.IMG_20220120_135430372.jpg

Now you have a set for the car for emergencies lol. Must be old stock as my Advance doesn’t have much Gearwrench left anymore it’s all TEQ and they are replacing that with Diehard.

Tekton haul. First ordering experience from them as I normally just buy their stuff at Rural King but they don’t sell these particular things. Was expecting it to be in a box instead it was a padded envelope which is fine but I was wanting a box lol. Was excited to find a reputable company that had needle nose vise grips available so I’m excited to try these out it’s my whole reason for placing the order. I also got some hex bit sockets I didn’t have an 11mm for Ford and a 13mm and 15mm for those just in case moments lol because I don’t have those sizes in my Capri set. Also got a free catalog, sticker and socket tray labels I figured probably won’t use those but they are free.

Edit: forgot the impact sockets. Got those to try out as my Craftsman in these sizes are just plain worn out from taking off so many lug nuts.

Rural King has Tekton? I don't have one real close, but it might be worth the drive to take a look.

Well it was teq but made by gearwrench. I got a bunch of stuff real cheap when they swapped to their name on them, all held up fine, but yes it had been there a while the dust was thick.

I stopped at TSC on my way home to grab some dog food. I always check out the bins by the front. They were both discounted to 20.00 each. I don't know if the tap set will get me away from tap sockets but I'll give it a try. The two handled ratcheting set
I think will come in handy.

Yeah that is true it’s the same stuff. Actually pretty decent too. At least you were able to find that and were near a auto parts store that had what you needed. In my area you’d have to go to everyone in town to find what you needed lol.

The brown truck stopped by today with a few things.

A set of Proto 1/2" deep impact sockets in both metric (8mm-30, 32, 36) and SAE (3/8" - 1 1/2").

Also a 2 5/8" Punch & Flare die and a 3" Punch & Bead die from Mittler Brothers.

I'll have to play some with the punch & bead die to figure out how to get the best looking results. A good day for Made in USA tools.

I found a few things at an antique store today. Most expensive item was the Indestro wrench that cost a dollar. Everything else was .50 each. No name USA wrenches, Craftsman USA socket and others. One of the neatest items to me is the tiny Meteor wrench.

Been wanting this set for a while, they finally came back in stock. Sunex 3/8” drive torque adapter set.

Those look high quality, something I've come to expect from Sunex. Have you run into many applications for them before? I cant say I've needed to torque an obstructed fastener as I usually have the obstruction removed during disassembly. I could see maybe front of the engine type stuff still in the vehicle? Basically I'm looking for a reason to buy them haha!

Holy sh*t that GW 2 handle ratcheting set I snagged from a sale that was posted on here and toolguyd YEARS ago. It has single handedly been my most valueable took kit that I have ever owned. Can't even count how many pieces of furniture I've built with it. Its been my quick and dirty go to for the better part of 10 years easily by far.

I'd hope not, 05 odyssey. If parts stores don't have the most common parts for the most common Honda motor they need to close down lol. Also glad I know j motors very well and knew exactly what I'd need if I had to buy it separately.

VW tierod end was the last thing I could've used one on. Ended up using a crowsfoot. Socket wouldn't fit.

To me, these are a superior version of a crowfoot wrench. I use these for driveline maintenance, checking torque on driveshaft bolts. They also came in handy installing a winch plate inside a steel bumper - the front two bolts securing the winch plate were inside the front of the bumper, where everything comes together at an angle. No way a torque wrench with a socket in there, it has to be a wrench. My crowfoot wrenches are not long enough to reach - these adapters worked perfectly there.

Williams B-20A 3/8" sliding T-Handle.

I wanted to make an all Williams USA custom T-Handle after scoring the ratcheting adapter in a lot of free tools. It should be pretty useful when working on bikes, etc. Shown with a 6in extension, direct to the adapter and with a 3in extension.

This would be perfect for my motorcycle tool kit. Can you give details on the adapter? Is it ratcheting? Make and part number?
