Tractor Supply and Harbor Freight haul. Brass punch set from Tractor Supply. Excellent when you need them. Was happy to find a USA made set. I went to a different location today and they had tons more tools than mine does.

From Harbor Freight I got a green knife to complete my set of those colorful knives. And another battery terminal cleaner brush as I have practically worn my other ones out. Two 16oz ball peen hammers I got two because it’s my most used size. I have two at work in the box so I got one for the cart then one will be for home. Some hand cleaner that my coworkers talk highly about so I figured I’d give it a try. Then some plastic pop rivets that are handy when you need them. Got those for home as they provide them at work. Got another box of gloves while the sale was still going on and some funnels as I can’t ever find my funnels when I need them lol.

Hey, instead of wasting your money on that battery brush. Bebop over to home depot/lowes/or ACE and pick up a 3/4 plumbers brush
like this one: https://www.homedepot.com/p/HDX-3-4-in-Heavy-Duty-Fitting-Brush-80-719-111/204258909

Got two of these in my Amazoon shipment today. 20LB LP Tank booties. Protects your vehicular and your deck boards. Prevents rust transfer to your grill shelf. It also feels a lot better when you drop the tank on your bare foot or leg when moving the tank into position.

20LB tank boot.jpg

These are the other ones i have on two tanks.

20LB tank tire.jpg

Well since I can't buy the one that I actually wanted "THE TANK" (due to Out of Stock) I went ahead and purchased the following like item instead.

Hopefully it will work out just the same? :dunno:

"THE RINGER"
THE RINGER PROPANE TANK BOOT.jpeg

The Ringer can be purchased directly from Greenlight Products or from Amazon (both places offer the same price as well as shipping price).

Now it's just a wait and see.

I initially called the original "Tank Tire" manufacturer to inquire about when "if ever" they (or he) were going to have any in stock in the very near future?.....Left voice messages, sent emails.........and well nothing?......I never heard back? :dunno:

Also happen to find this one on Ebay..... https://www.ebay.com/itm/PROPANE-TANK-TANK-BOOT/282727533271

I also found those TankBoot.COM rings on ebay but found their website was defunct... Thanks for calling TankTire. I love those by far. I also TEST PRINTED a ring on my 3D printer. It didn't last long in PLA... 1st one cracked putting it on... the 2nd one cracked while transporting the tank for a fill. I'm not gonna invest in a bunch of filaments just to get something I can buy for $15...

I really like the ones you selected. Please let me know your results. Are they injection molded?... printed?

I am very pleased with the dark ones I ended up with... $13/each...

Yes as soon as I do receive it and try it out, I will let you know my reviews, opinions, etc. on it.

I still would like to get at least one of "THE TANK" type style, that is if I ever come across one? :dunno:

I like the fact that this specific ringer actually has drain holes on the bottom.

This will eliminate any water, moisture, etc. from staying inside the ringer and preventing, at least minimal rust to develop on the bottom of the tank.

I had been reading the reviews on some of the others and that was one of the complaints that customers found annoying, that water, moisture was being captured within the bottom of the ringer, with no drainage and thus creating rust around the bottom of the tank.

Even though the price for just one is $19.00 + $5.00 to ship....then include taxes....ended up spending $27.05!

Hopefully it'll be worth what I paid the total price for it.

As for how they are made...molded, etc. well the only info close to that is what is stated on the website for that product:

Finally Gave UP on my gearwrench 1/4" roto ratchet... too much backdrag. I tossed it into the "trunk box", where tools go to rust and die.

I ordered one of these. I always wanted one...

Blades count right... My dome cutting device is dull.

Never seen the Wera before. I'm sure it's a fine tool. On initially looking at it I wondered if one of the designers/engineers used to work for Fisher-Price? ;)

A few weeks ago on my last trip to HF, I noticed that the floor model 36” Icon roll cab was gone. At checkout I asked the manager about it, and he told me that it was being discontinued. Today, I needed some coin cell batteries and stopped at a different Harbor Freight - I noticed they still had their floor model out, but without a price tag. After a few minutes talking to the manager of that store, I walked out with this roller cab (with the stainless steel top) and a 2 year ITC membership for $978+tax. Happy birthday to me!

This thing is HEAVY. The specs say it weighs 440 lbs, and I believe it.
Awesome! My store has a red one out on display. I should go try!

@PelicanPines don't be sad. I made the same comment about this survey meter I had used at my work

Fluke_Model_451P.jpg

It seems Fisher-Price is a first step for many designers before they move on to the big boy toys. ;)

Ok, this made my laugh and I immediately though of the Hakko soldering station. It might be better than the Weller, but I just couldn't buy the Hakko since, as you said, it looks like a Fisher Price toy

2+ month wait finally got them. 1/4 drive nut gripper sockets and some 12” wobble fix extensions.
I thought they were brilliant but frankly what i would want in conjunction with the nut grippers is a locking wobble extension how snapon makes. If your in a precarious situation where you cant afford to drop the fastner, the next point where it can detatch is at the extension.

Blake- Mayhew makes a set with just drifts; you might want to check that out. Either way, I think you'll be happy with the drift in that set; they're surprisingly durable

Here is the smaller set. I think this is what I have.

I didn’t ask, but I notice that it’s only the black and the blue that are missing from the website. I’m wondering if it’s just these two colors that are being discontinued or if it’s the 36” roll cab entirely…

Finally got these in after 4-5 weeks of waiting... Swapped them out for the straight XL Gearwrench set which I just didn't care for (Someone here got a good deal on them).

Not wild about spline drive but it is what it is. I wanted the flex and fixed box which is why I didn't go with the mountain version. I'll be ditching the case as they've already got a spot cleared out in the wrench drawer.

Made in Taiwan which was good. I'll put a few to use in the coming days on the Jetta.

I dont like spline drive. It causes a nerve between my testicles and sphincter to twitch.

I bought a set of tool truck drifts years ago, recently I bought a couple of brass rods from FleaBay, a 3/8" about 16" long and a 7/8" around a foot, relatively cheap, added my own knurling.

I think you will really like that Wera speed ratchet. I bought one on a whim and have enjoyed it so much I bought the others.

Those look great, this is the first I have seen them. I was almost going to impulse buy them, then I saw they did not have 15mm. No Japan set has them. Dang, the impulse went away.

I'm getting older and have tunnel carpal and they would be perfect.

Hit up HarborFreight yesterday. I’ve looked at tap and die sets locally and all are made in China. So I thought a cheap set would be an experiment to see if they work.
The hammer doesn’t look like great quality, but for the task I have in mind it will work. The people on here say the Doyle pliers are okay. So thought I would have a go at them while they’re on sale.3A1C6B46-3E2A-47E7-9D02-71A13BCAE458.jpeg3E0A9F8F-75D2-4EBA-A793-9469792BBDFA.jpeg85FD6ED3-AF32-4D43-B67D-F4C92A077492.jpeg

Man snap on Tuesday is almost over and nothing from @BlakeTheCarGuy yet??? Haha
He didn’t make it to our area today. Our dealership is so big he usually doesn’t make all of it in a day. He used to stop on Monday at that other shop and Tuesday to us but now he got another stop on Monday and can’t do that anymore so he comes to ours on Thursday again now lol. I kinda like Tuesday better because by 4:30 when he comes we are dead when he stops at 11:30 on Thursday we are swamped lol. But don’t worry when he is here on Thursday some new tools will be posted lol.
