Nice, I could of used one of those just a few days ago. Needed to recrimp the ferrules on a couple of air hoses. I looked at buying one of those but since I wouldn't need it too often I just went to my local hose & fittings shop & got new ferrules put on.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you get it for?
It was about $65 shipped
Prices are all over... $120-250 retail. All appear to be the same, same tool.

Damn, nice score. Yeah, the cheapest I found was a generic branded for $100. Not sure if the Milton, Dixon, etc are actually any better quality. As you said, they all look the same.

Snap-on Monday this week. He will be by tomorrow and Thursday as well. Didn’t post anything Thursday because the new shop manager won’t let us go if there is anything in our bay. That’s ridiculous in my opinion but I’m not trying to get in trouble. So first got the mini set of torx in red. Only color he had I was hoping for orange to match the Phillips and flat set I have. Snagged another 11th finger aka pocket screwdriver lol. He asked don’t you get one of those every week? And I said absolutely don’t you give them out for free every week? He laughed. The I got a bent handle ratchet. I know I said I’d never buy a comfort grip ratchet but they only make these with comfort grip or metal grip no hard plastic like I prefer and he had the comfort grip on the truck in several different colors. This one is dark titanium which I really like. The ratchet is great for putting your weight on something with the bend. I’ve used it several times for really overtorqured drain plugs so since I’ve done my fair share of borrowing way more than three times I figured it was time for me to get one. Then had a screwdriver from eBay which the tip was bent on so had him replace that. The two sockets a 16mm shallow and 9/16 deep were warranty replacement from two eBay sockets as well. You know it’s bad when he asks what do I need to replace this week? Lol 😂. I also ordered the 12 piece snap ring pliers set and I’m thinking of ordering a wrench set next week. And no the green box is not mine lol. No green boxes for this guy.

I broke a few 1/16 bits so i ordered one each of the different Norseman styles that HJE had, plus one of the new Vortex bits in 1/4. Lang right angle snap ring pliers are for work.
I need to do this. I wrote a list of bits that I need about a week ago.

I had my old car at the shop having a couple quick things done, and the Matco truck pulled in. I decided that was a sign that I was fated to have the locking flex head I've been so curious about.

I got the 9" since my Icon roto is roughly 12"

The flex lock is pretty stuff. I put a couple drops of Superlube on it and it helped. The guy told me it would break in to be easier over time. It went right to work:

Nice, another stubby with blowerband.

I love the blowerband, I originally had black on mine but ended up putting the black band on the stock long tube. My only complaint with this version stubby nozzle is that it reduces air volume compared to my previous stubby nozzle and it makes the blower much louder. My old one didn't make the motor/fan louder over the stock tube. Can't wait to get me a 3d printer so I can make my own nozzle.

What’s the purpose of the smaller nozzles?

I don't use my blower for yard work except the occasional clearing out light leaves from the side of the house. I use mine mainly for clearing out the garage or blowing metal chips from the lathe or mill into a corner so I can vacuum or sweep them up. Also use it for blowing excess water off my truck and dirt/dust out the interior. The silicone band on my new stubby nozzle is great to protect surfaces but I've never had a problem scratching stuff anyway. The stock long tube is very cumbersome for my uses. I do swap back & forth when needed but I use the stubby most of the time.

If the M12 blower came out years ago when I got the M18 I might have just got that even though I'm not a fan of the M12 grip size. It can be converted to a short nozzle too out the box & the short nozzle is rubber. But then again I hear it's pretty weak so I guess the M18 was still the better buy for me.

Forgot to post this from yesterday’s Amazon delivery - Genius Tools metric hex socket set, part # TH-310M. I wanted 3/8” hex impact sockets that were shorter than my 1/2” set, but not the stubby set that Sunex and a bunch of other brands sell. This set seems to be “semi-deep,” which is exactly what I wanted. They did arrive pretty dry, so I oiled them up before putting them in my box.

Hopefully your next new tool purchase is a cement mixer so you can roll your new box around?😂👍
Yeah:) I had to pull it into the new shop when I picked it up from the liftgate truck down at the road. No way Pitt Ohio was making it up my driveway. Also we had some crazy weather here and got snow on Monday and was still snowing yesterday. I wanted to see it and couldn't wait:p. It got delivered at 11am and no one to help me get it out of the truck, so it sat until my wife got home from work. The torture of it sitting and not being able to play with it was killing me!

Concrete scheduled for the week of May 10th(y)

yeah... there's kind of an inextricable link between "tools" and "tool storage systems", but you're going to need a step ladder to get into that thing if you keep it up that high. ;)
Thanks! It had to sit there until my wife came home to help me get it out and into the current garage for now until the shop is done. That thing is heavy.

I was able to play with it when it was on the ground;)

How did you get it out? My drivers gonna lift gate mine into my truck next week here at work. If all else fails I suppose I can borrow the neighbors forklift. I planned on rolling it down a ramp, suckers pretty heavy to lift out.

You could get this with an engine hoist for sure! I rigged up a sling set up with a recovery strap for my hf 44” when I pulled it out of the back of my 2500.

Having different tools in different colours helps you tell them apart at a glance, which saves time. In my box flatheads are green, mini-Philips and no2/3Philips are red, no1 Philips is orange, pozi are hi-vis yellow.

It’s particularly helpful in a road box where everything is dumped in a tray rather than nicely laid out.

Had to drive 1hr to a store that had it in stock. Every time it’s on sale the stores near me never have it in stock. Used $15 HF bucks from my b-day and $15 HF sent me for complaining about not being able to purchase this item at a store near me and have it shipped there.59D47292-5921-4D0E-956E-058478DA6130.jpeg

Sucker is 300 Lbs:oops:. I kept it on the pallet and cut 2- 2x6's to use as ramps. I cut them long enough so it was a gradual ramp and rolled it very slowly down. My wife was in the back of the truck just ensuring it stayed on the ramps and I took the full weight, kinda sketchy but took our time and luckily all good.
