On the topic of socks: Feetures. Lifetime warranty, I just warrantied 8 pairs and got the current price as "store money" and got 9 pairs. All I did was send pictures. They're really comfortable

Been buying wigwam for years, great socks!
M14x1.5 thread chasers/restorers. Never knew they made these sizes, could have used them a few weeks ago. Got them from Matco online. Luckily my Craftsman set has a pocket for accessories. The other size I needed M10x1.25 wasn't included in my set & I actually got them from my Matco dealer 15 yrs ago.
Capri T40 semi-long (that's what I'm calling it). My cheapo Craftsman China T40 is starting to wear out or maybe just had a sloppy fit to begin with. I always use it with an extension (4.5" OAL) so I figured I might as well just buy a longer T40. All I could find were the standard short length ones & 6" for the long ones. This Capri is 4" long which is perfect for my needs. Very nice & more importantly fits tight. This is my first Capri, I know it's just a bag but I was impressed with it. I may have to buy the full set of short torx now since I have heard nothing but good about them.
Grease gun needle(ish) adapter. Didn't know they made these, I always thought you had to unscrew the regular zerk coupler to screw on a needle tip. This has a zerk fitting on the other end so no need to bother unscrewing the coupler.
New switch & grip for my old trusty Streamlight Stinger. Didn't really need the grip, mine finally ripped a couple of weeks ago but surprisingly found one on AWD.
General 641 ruler. This is one of my favorite & most used rulers. Not sure why, nothing that special about it, maybe I'm just so used to using it for the past 25 yrs. Looked for another one a while back only to find they have been long discontinued. Just happened to search for the heck of it & found a couple of new ones on ebay.
Really surprised still as it's by far the bulkiest utility knife I own but I'm really liking the Toughbuilt Reload. Couldn't resist the urge to buy me another one.

When I got married 17 years ago, my Dad bought me a Craftsman rolling toolbox (top & bottom). I’ve been looking for a matching mid box, but they either didn’t make them in the 16” depth, or they are rare as hen’s teeth. I found what looked to be a close match at Grainger.

X1billon. No better socks out there. I am spoiled by the warranty in that I can go to a local store, they have started to allow stores that sell them to warranty them on the spot.
I had heard about the fabled Snap On Socks and finally got 2 pairs. Not even close, Darn Tough fit WAAY better.
I've seen some German youtuber demonstrating these and if I wouldn't already have a Fastback that barely sees any action as it is I'd get myself one of these. The one dualing as a scraper is also awesome.

A friend of mine described his warranty experience that way; probably 16ish months ago. I have around 3 dozen pairs, so I haven't worn a single sock enough to come anywhere close to wearing a hole through one. I haven't personally tried Wigams, but they look like a nice, no frills socks.
It is pretty fun to play with & I thought it was built well. I haven't bought one cause it uses proprietary blades, that's a deal breaker for me.
The Reload knife actually comes with those blades that Scraper knife needs to use but the Reload doesn't actually need to use them, works fine with standard blades.

I was searching a thread the other day on USA made adjustable wrenches. I thought I need a couple for my new shop and immediately started looking at EBay. Picked up a 6”diamond and a 12” barcalo.

Oh... you got that "clip" knife... I want one so bad but I have no room in my drawer dedicated to knives.

Yeah - motor mounts for my wife's Odyssey are next up for my set.
A few items I’ve been putting off forever.
Heat gun accessory kit, I bought this solely for the wrap around deflector, hoping it will make my M18 heat gun quicker doing heat shrinks.
Knipex twin grip, because I’m a Knipex ****.
These wire strippers are very slick, I’ve got a bunch of the different types of strippers and these seems like the best after my initial testing. These Capri version have the adjustable stop which is nice.
Some light weight wrenches for my enduro bike tool kit.
Snap On warrantied my old hard handle phillips that was deteriorating. They sent me the new version, now the only problem is it doesn't match the rest lol.
They’ve sent you a hard grip instinct handle (you can tell by the grey grip on the handle, rather than the black of the soft grip instinct handle) rather than a hard handle. You could probably do some hunting and find the part no for a much closer to your original hard handle in their catalog and request a replacement. Or just enjoy the awesomeness of the instinct handle*

Fresh from Feebay, Torx wrenches and a TRF72 to replace my Williams flex head.
Thats some bs hah, I’d call them up and have them send you a replacement to your original. Not some random driver..Snap On warrantied my old hard handle phillips that was deteriorating. They sent me the new version, now the only problem is it doesn't match the rest lol.

Kobalt 11/16 deep impact socket. Six point. Got this for one specific purpose and that’s the swollen Jeep/Chrysler 17mm lug nuts. Even though I’m a Subaru tech sometimes I do have to still work on those products. My half size socket set doesn’t have a 17.5 and I haven’t found one so I decided to get this. I have a 3/8 impact one at work but I hate having to pull an adapter out for it. Plus don’t use it enough to buy a really expensive one. It was a dollar less than a Craftsman but the Craftsman impact sockets I’ve bought have worn out fast with regular use and I’ve had better luck with Kobalt so I decided to do the Kobalt. Was also looking for a 27mm wrench but the Craftsman ones look awful these days them and Kobalt both made in India and I’ve bent every India made wrench I’ve used and they haven’t been true to size. And I’m not paying $100 for a Snap-on one so I’ll order one from somewhere.
Also while I was there I picked up a cool die cast Beetle that was painted like a police car with lights on top but that’s not a tool lol. Will look nice on my dresser in my room.

You will love the Capri bit sockets. I bought the master set of torx, Allen and e torx long and short for $200 love it in a professional setting. I'm pretty happy with it so far. I was looking at buying just a 15 pc set of Capri torx for $33. But for $35 there's a 35 pc set of Capri that includes those, security torx, & etorx which one would be stupid not to buy over the other.
Thing is I rarely have a need for torx on my truck. There's a few but they rarely need to get touched. And never in my life have I ever needed etorx, I just have never worked on anything that had em (european cars I assume?). And I don't work on cars for a living anymore so I don't really need that set. The only torx I use, and quite often, are on my machining tools & on my knives. But they're all small sizes & I have drivers for those.
The T40 is for my skid plate, which is aftermarket with aftermarket button flange head screws. My stock skid plates (2 pcs) had a jack point on it (sort of). The aftermarket skid plate doesn't & I don't want to bend it so I remove it anytime I need to jack up the entire front end. Much more inconvenient now, it's 1 pc & not as light as the stock but that's the price I gotta pay for a bit of bling. Not really a big deal to me though having to take it off so much more than the stock.

I worked mainly on Japanese cars. Whenever I worked on American & European cars it was only suspension work (lowering).

That's not the same style, those are newer. The handle in question is pretty old, so old they have the old SO font.

Speaking of Kobalt, the day before I ordered that Capri bit, I went to HD to check out the Husky torx & Lowes to look at Kobalt & Craftsman. I'm not a fan of SBD CM so I already new I wasn't gonna buy it but when I found the drawers for the individal Kobalt stuff, man what a mess.
I don't know what is up with my local Lowes but every single drawer for the Kobalt stuff wasn't even slid onto their rails correctly. Could barely even pull a drawer out to look. Nothing was organized, stuff was just scattered everywhere in the drawers. Funny how Kobalt is supposed to be Lowes' brand but I guess they get more money from SBD to push CM stuff.

Haha I know what you mean. The Craftsman drawers were like that here. One of them was completely off the rails and hanging into the next row so you pulled it out and both drawers come out lol. Kobalt section has definitely downsized over the years. Still find stuff in the wrong spot. I’ve had good luck with their stuff minus the ratchets lol. Nothing was in place in either section. Totally chaos. That’s why I hate the drawers I wish they were like the parts stores and stuff and have them on racks. I do like that the Kobalt comes in a bag though cause sometimes pulling them off a hanger is totally hard lol. I don’t understand the point of the Craftsman having hangers if they aren’t going to hang up lol.

I know Ford used them for some stuff with the headlights and mirrors. It's been 20+ years now though so I don't recall exactly what, I just know I have a little set of them from the SnapOn dude.
